The temperature in the building was uncomfortable for me because I don't like air-conditioning, however, everyone else was quite comfortable. Chrissy, the dental assistant, went and got a blanket for me to aid in my comfort. Now, that's really good stuff. So here's the best part. When the doctor comes in there no lectures about what caused me to be here or anything to make me feel worse than I already do for not having taken excellent care of my teeth. With a pleasant smile the doctor just engage in Smalltalk to break the ice. After reviewing the x-rays he breaks down the "doctorese" language into layman's terms to help me understand everything about my situation, the course that we will take today, and any after treatment. And throughout the entire procedure insured my level of comfort was adequate over and over and over again. The staff is nothing short of high-tech professional to the nth degree. I'm not going to go on and on because I can't say enough about them. From the initial call until the satisfaction I received by having the best dental care I could ever have hoped for. The fact is and will always be that when you deal with people of integrity and professionals who put service before self and aim for integrity first and excellence in all they do you can expect nothing but the best. I consider Dr. Parreira and his team more than just "my dentist" but also my friends. If you are looking for a team that exudes professionalism I highly recommend that you give them a try. I have had really traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, so the fact that I felt really safe in his hands meant so much to me. I'd also like to shout out his assistant, Savannah. She was warm and friendly. She instantly put me at ease. Even better, she was very swift and gentle throughout the imaging process. Another point worth mentioning, they were transparent about pricing from the beginning. I find many dental offices get a bit cagey when you ask what the cost is, but, if you're paying out of pocket that's obviously helpful to know! I really appreciate that they called and gave me an exact price upfront. Everything was done gently and expertly. As well as any doctor I have had. This time, the good doctor could not perform the traditional root canal. He determined that the crack in my tooth was too large for a crown to cover. He asked if I wanted him finish or stop and moved to another for extraction and replacement. I had no idea, having not had to make this decision before. I asked and he did not hesitate, let's top and proceed to extraction since the root canal and crown just won't last. Do it once. Now, Dr. Luzader probably could have advised me to the root canal, maximizing his financial experience. His staff speaks the highest of Dr. Luzader as an honorable businessman and leader. He clearly is quite skilled as a specialist, and we are lucky to have him in Annapolis.
