The real highlight is Will the owner. He is amazing with kids and had my daughter fully engaged letting her sample flavors and even choose how she wanted her ice cream done. It was one of those moments that just makes you smile :-) The popcorn is fresh and really good My older daughter loved it so much she looked them up when we got back to Florida and asked me to place a delivery order. This says everything. We enjoyed the PB Chocolate Drizzle, Chocolate Drizzle, Birthday Cake, and Windy Cindy. Between the location right by Toomer's Corner the customer service and the quality this is an easy 5 Stars.

They sell fudge, popcorn, and icecream. He let us sample various popcorns, and also mentioned everything is made in-house with the exception of the icecream. I love their logo and the cuteness of the store. It's quaint but real cute. I had the dill pickle popcorn and it was very good. The popcorn had the right amount of tartness + butter. The flavors balanced nicely. I purchased the sophomore bag. Love the play on names in this college town! I tried the birthday cake flavor with my friend and we both seemed to enjoy it. The popcorn was roughly $5 and is a nice amount. It has a buttery yet dill taste and is VERY flavorful!

Our attendant was Faith - she took very good care of us. We enjoyed talking with her. We give her A++ for doing a great job. Also compliment the young man who cleaned and set up tables AND made sure we had a full glass of water. He said it was his third day on job and he did a wonderful job for being "new". The ambiance was very nice - every person we talked with was very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was full but the service went smooth. This was our second visit and we plan to come again.

I believe it effected some of the flavors of foods that were boiled in it, too. Gnocchi had some of the same off flavor. In addition, some of the flavors just feel way out of whack for totally unrelated reasons. Sauce that the duck came in was thin and overwhelmed by honey. The risotto it was served with seems like it should be rich and homey. But despite a crazy amount of added dairy still tasted thin and flat. Can't tell you why. Wonky seasoning? None of the dishes reflected any familiarity with acid to lighten or balance a dish. Fried green tomatoes were pretty mid despite a quality remoulade and a bunch of pimento cheese. Ingredients seem like they're decent quality. Desserts are legitimately top notch. Everyone recommends the peanut butter pie. And it is excellent, though pretty obviously not long out of the freezer. The affogato Is legitimately fantastic. And I'm not even talking about the pageantry of dumping the espresso on the salt ice cream. The combo is legitimately satisfying, like a well-rounded creamy candy. The plates are funky and cool and beautiful. The staff all seem like they're 19, attractive, and gregarious.

I've had a lot of things thrown into tortillas…read more In fact, I've been on somewhat of a journey to find the best fajitas; that journey has now come to an end with my takeout order of skirt steak fajitas from Bow & Arrow in Auburn, AL. Ah-Maz-Ing! The homemade tortillas were fluffy but not too fluffy, the steak was so tender, I mean, even if you have dentures, this is safe ground to slap them jowls. I don't plan to need a "last meal," but if I did, this would be it. The rice, beans, and that butter are all 10/10.

The hostess quoted us a 40-45min wait, but we were pleasantly surprised it was only about half that. The space was insanely warm-- got it, it's winter and it's cold/rainy, but we were sweating and our baby's cheeks were turning pink. Our waiter made the experience less than ideal. He definitely didn't want to be there and his performance showed that. He was no help when we asked about menu items-- we got nothing more than a shrug and a mumbled 'I don't know'. He was slow to do anything and our beer was barely cold when it made it to the table after letting it sit at the bar for too long. We waited for 40min for our dinner. Even a Friday night in a busy college town shouldn't equal that. Food was good when we finally got it. Not worth the long wait, but decent. Disappointing visit...but, I'll probably go back when it's hopefully less busy and attempt a better experience.

I also picked up freshly baked goodies-the chocolate croissant, which my son devoured. I ate a delicious bacon and cheese biscuit where the bacon is diced and stirred into the mixture. The biscuit was massive and well made. I also got a ham and cheese croissant which I liked but my son was not a fan. The staff was friendly and service was prompt and helpful. I took my items to go, but it was very quiet in a Sunday morning and a good place to read or study if you are a student. The best part is my college student daughter can use her dining dollars from Auburn dining here since she has been very frugal with them and is carrying over a bit into Spring semester. The staff member responded with a deep sigh as if she was frustrated by my request. She then slammed the cup down, along with the milk jug, with an attitude. I left feeling very upset and disappointed by the interaction. A positive attitude and friendly customer service make a big difference in a customer's experience.
