An order was placed and never delivered. No one answers the phone so you can check on what happened. When you go to the location no one there spoke english, so they called someone and gave us the phone to speak to an individual who lied about the reason for their failing to make the delivery. They don't answer the phone most times and when they do they are unhelpful and don't care. Was charged $95 for an order that was never delivered. When I called customer service it said my order was canceled but I was still charged. Person who answers is not nice and I can't believe that Edible allows this location to remain open based on the other reviews I just read. This is a disgrace and makes Edible Arrangements look so bad. I never had an issue before, but I never dealt w/the Budd Lake location until now. They are clearly robbing people. read more

0 Stars. All of the other similar reviews are absolutely accurate. So here's another example of this location's issues. Order from any other store but this one. Or use a different company frankly. What a disaster this order ended up being. Here's the breakdown. This was for a family member who just got back from getting treated for cancer. I did schedule this ahead of time on the website. I neglected to realize what store it was being fulfilled from, and wish I had checked the yelp reviews ahead of time. Pretty simple order (See photo). Fruit bouquet, Add-On bag of nuts, and a balloon. A nice little care package to brighten their day up. Fruit to eat right away, nuts that would last a little longer and a balloon to be cheer them up. So it's delivery day. Monday 7/29. I get a phone call and it's from the scheduler and they wanted to make sure someone would be home. And as a heads up as many other reviews say, they basically use Door Dash or similar service now to delivery these. And those people have no tie or connection to the store and could care less what happens. But still how nice and thoughtful of you to call and check ahead of time if someone would be there. WRONG!!! So the order arrives. Everyone's all excited, they text me how nice it was. They send some photos over (see pics). And I mention to them "oh there should be some cashew nuts too as an add-on". They say we didn't see any. I said well make sure they aren't like hiding under the fruit or something else. No nuts. Maybe the door dash person who delivered it didn't pick it up, maybe it's in their car, who knows. So I call back to the number that called me in the morning. (Spoiler: I ended up calling 4 times over the course of the day). Hey the order didn't come with my add-on cashews. Followed by oh yeah the store was out of them. This is pretty poor customer service right here. So someone talked with me about the delivery time, you had a perfect opportunity to let me know that ahead of time, you could have offered an alternate option, and frankly i'm pretty sure if I hadn't called back there is no way I would be refunded for an item they were out of stock on. So that's fine, it sounds like I'll be refunded, but I was pretty skeptical. Then I take a look at the photos a bit better. AND THIS IS THE THING I HAVE A REAL ISSUE WITH. I notice the Balloon actually says "THANK YOU". They sent a "THANK YOU" Balloon to my family member who is dealing with cancer. "THANK YOU FOR HAVING CANCER!" Enjoy your fruit basket. So I call the back the scheduler. No answer. So I actually call the store no answer. So finally later in the day I call back again and finally get an answer. We go through this issue and how unprofessional it is that this happened. Some answer about the person at the store doesn't speak English very well. Once again a missed customer service option. They should have said we are so sorry, we can get this corrected. Would you like us to send the correct one today. None of that happens. So by this point 2 out of the 3 items have had issues. There's no confirmation or anything about a refund. And it turns out the person I've been calling isn't able to refund it anyway as that requires the manager. So at this point I give up and go to the corporate website to try and get help. By the way their main number to call doesn't work. And there is no live chat option, just a contact us web form. I fill out the webform, and thankfully this actually generates a case number. However with careful digging you can call 1-877-363-7848 and through the option tree actually get to a real person in customer service instead of ordering an item. So now I've got a case number. They say the store manager will be back in touch within 48 hour. Wednesday rolls around, absolutely no response. Am I surprised, not at all. So I call back to the corporate number, finally get to a real customer service person who can see my case number and order. They try to call the store while I'm on hold. 10 minutes later this very nice customer service person comes on and tells me she's been on hold the entire time, and finally elevates it to her manager. Ultimately I get my $18 refund for the actual items refunded. They apologize. And while I don't expect the order to be full refunded, no consideration for the hassle or the issues or here's a discount for the future or whatever customer service usually can offer. So basically if I didn't spend tons of my own time staying on top of this I don't think it would have ever been cleared up or refunded. It's amazing this store and frankly Edible Arrangements is even in business with practices like this for a product that costs a fortune, Whoever is at this store needs to pay more attention and dot your i's and cross your t's and you need some massive help in customer service and corporate training. Very DISAPPOINTED on what was actually delivered to my grandchildren. I ordered the Very Berry Sweet Tray and two bags of Vego bears, the oral order with card and tip was $85.22. My daughter sent a pic of the tray and I was shocked since there was fruit missing! No blueberries at all, only 4 grapes dropped on the tray instead of a healthy bunch, where there was 16-17 on one side AND I was charged for the candy but it wasn't delivered. The delivery driver also left it on the ground by the garage, instead of taking it to the Front porch where there was a bench to set in on and no alert to the owner ( via knock on door or doorbell). To make matters worse, the man who answers the call at Budd Lake Edible Arrangement basically told me the tray doesn't always look like the picture shown! WTH? I believe that is false advertising! Then there was no offer to deliver what I ordered and he still hasn't refunded my money for items not delivered. I will no longer order from this store or maybe any of them. read more

I am providing this on behalf of my Mother-In-Law. She was attending a funeral today Dec 6 and needed this arrangement. She called several times last weekend and sent text with no reply. She then decided to go to your store on Tuesday. Upon her arrival there were no displays and according to her the person only spoke Spanish. Now she is 83 Years old so became very frustrated because she could not get across to this person. Well she made her order and told the person when she needed it this Saturday Dec 6, then she went to pick up as she was told 9am Sat Dec 6. Upon her arrival there was no one there and the lights were not on. She waited about 20 Min and then went to the store in the mall there. A young man called the worker there and they said they would be there in 15 Min, needless to say that did not happen. So she had to leave to get to the funeral. I her son-In-Law went and picked up the arrangement for her at 12:00 noon. Now although we understand things happen and sometimes out of our control. However, because of this mishap it caused others to be inconveniently called upon. When, I got there the arrangement was not even ready. You folks need to do a better job and arrange for mishaps or at least make a phone call to the customer. Also, I as her son-In-Law went and picked it up and the arrangement according to your web site as I looked it up was not the arrangement she got. A Star of David was supposed to be in a White bucket and it was in a Red bucket and she paid $85.29 for that. So after saying all this we will never order here again. This store is absolutely horrific. I ordered a gift to be delivered to my aunt on her birthday and received a delivery conformation. Turns out they did NOT deliver the order. Instead they called her, at work, on her birthday to demand that she come home right away to receive the delivery. Of course she could not do that so they refused to deliver the order!!! Did you pay the 10 dollar same day delivery fee? Yes? well then you my friend are as much a sucker as I was... I placed an order at 9:30 am for delivery and clicked the $10 option for same day delivery. The order was not delivered that day. The recipient was home working and home schooling her two kids. SHE WAS HOME ALL DAY, AT A DESK WITH A WINDOW FACING HER DRIVEWAY. No attempt was made to deliver this item on the same day. The recipient would have seen it from the window. Yet the guy at the Denville office assured me one was made. I call bull on that but lets not get ahead of ourselves... First I called the store that I selected to fulfill this order, that was the Budd Lake office. After dealing with that person for over 10 minutes she finally told me they do not service that address, that Franklin did, and that to get my $10 refund I had to call the Denville office, which made zip in the way of sense. Why are three freaking stores involved with this order?? Also she asked me where I lived. What in the hell does that have to do with anything? Also, I told her and the Denville office that I had an order number. Neither wanted that and instead insisted on looking up the order via the recipients last name. Isn't the order number the more efficient way to go? I mean why even have one in the first place? So when I call Denville the guy basically says that they cannot guarantee anyone will be home to receive it so they cannot issue a refund. When I asked how many times the recipient is not home when an attempt is made he said "it happens all the time". Ok so when I ask how they can even offer such a service as an extra ten dollars for same day delivery when they know damn well they are likely to not be able to deliver on the same day I got a canned speech about how they can't control when people are home. When I told him that he could keep the ten bucks and that I will never order from Edible Arrangements again and certainly not use the same day fee if I did (not likely) he told me to keep an eye out for sales when they offer that service for free. Really dude? thats your solution? That guy in Denville was probably just doing his job but what a lousy company. The Budd Lake office was an exercise in patience unlike any I have experienced before. I never had that much frustration trying to get a simple answer out of anyone in my life. Seriously talking to that girl was like talking to someone on the sun over radio, with the 8 minute delay between signals included. Save yourself some trouble and just go to the store, buy some fruit, cut it up, put it on some skewers, put it in a box and drive it to your recipients house yourself. Horrible experience. My sister ordered an arrangement for me after I had back surgery. Received a text saying I'd be getting a delivery. Well the delivery never showed up. I replied to my text asking where my delivery was and kept getting answers saying the driver is out there making your delivery, just look outside for him. I called the store and got no answer. Left a message and no one called me back. A few days passed, and my neighbor brings over something that was left on her porch. Well, it was my order. They delivered to the wrong house!!! (Not even on the same street!). I called the store again to try to rectify this issue and I was told a supervisor would get back to me. After 5 days of not hearing from anyone, I called again. I was told again that a supervisor would contact me. At the end of the call I could tell the employee was laughing at me. It's been 2 weeks and I still never received a call back. My sister has put a claim in to her credit card to get her money back. It's so sad that this is how a company runs it's business. Will never order from them again. read more

I ordered a same-day delivery from the Budd Lake, NJ store. First, they were out of pecans - which is fine - but the driver called the recipient of the order twice to confirm a substitution for the pecans. This ruined the surprise of an arrangement going to the recipient's house (it was supposed to be a surprise). They should have gotten ahold of me, the customer, first. When I finally did get a chance to speak to the person from that Edible Arrangements location, they were extremely rude to me. The recipient said they spoke to him in that same manner which is what makes me angriest. Second, I specifically put on the delivery instructions to knock and ring the bell at the recipient's address & if no one answers to just leave it on the stoop. Instead of just following the instructions, they again called the recipient (instead of me) and went on and on about how they "aren't responsible if it gets stolen by leaving it outside" etc.; very rudely, once again. By simply following the directions I provided them with, we could have avoided them calling the recipient of this arrangement THREE times. The recipient was very angry that they were disturbed at work and now I am angry because I too was disturbed multiple times at work. This could mostly have been avoided had they (first) followed my instructions (then) called me, the paying customer, with any issues. Now, I'm out $45 for one of the worst customer experiences ever. Two grapes and one strawberry had fuzzy mold on them. Tried calling the store and no one answered that day. So reviewing on here instead. On Friday, January 10th I placed an order online for an arrangement to be delivered to my best friends house for her birthday on Saturday the 11th. Makes no sense So my friend went to the denville location and they didn't have the arrangement for her. Let alone they had the wrong address the whole time!! My friend made them even put in her address in their gps to find out it was wrong the whole time. Then they told her they will deliver the arrangement first thing tomorrow morning. Like honestly who knew cutting up fruit, putting them together and typing in an address and delivering it to people houses was so hard to do. These people ruined my gift for my best friends birthday. She proceeded to tell me that there were problems with some of the help and the owner does not deal with them???? Therefore I ended up with garbage for a centerpiece for a party. STAY AWAY!!! My kids bought me an edible arrangement for my birthday and needed to have it delivered since we live almost 2 hours apart. Well apparently they don't give you a time frame to chose when you would like your purchase to be delivered. This was supposed to be a surprise so my husband tried to keep me home as long as possible. I had errands to run and we had to leave. The delivery driver called while we were out, my husband asked if he could make the delivery a little later but also stated we would only be back at our home until 4:30...then we were leaving again. He said "no problem" and 4:30 came and went. It's now almost 5pm and we had an appointment to be somewhere at 5pm. My husband called the delivery driver and was told he would be there closer to 5:30. That wasn't going to work! So we called the store and asked if we could pick it up there but were told they close at 5:30...the website clearly states 7pm! We had to call corporate about the issue and they called the store to make sure the employee stayed there until the appropriate time, which clearly states on their door they're there until 7pm. The arrangement was great but the delivery and service at this particular location was terrible!!! This time though, not only did I get the wrong order but my arrangement had mostly melon and only 4 grapes. I ordered a medium and was given a small and the chocolate was chunky on what was supposed to be a dove. That is unacceptable. I wish I could have rated a (0). It was supposed to be a birthday order for guests to enjoy. I had to make 5 different calls to corporate / local store (while party was on going). Each call lasted 15 to 20 minutes. I was told the basket was on its way that the driver was running late. 3 hours later I called to voice my frustration and local business was closed. I then called corporate and was advised I have to go through the local store. At 8:45 pm the driver arrived while the last of my guests where leaving. I am very disappointed to say the least. Your new businesses model sucks. Corporate should have taken the lead and did the leg work not your customer. This is not the Edible Arrangements I grew to love over the years. I placed an order with Gretchen at Edible Arrangements on April 7th for Sympathy Fruit Basket. Gretchen was very helpful and gave mesome suggestions. I ordered the Peace and Dove Bouquet. At 4:06p on Christmas Eve, I received a phone call telling me that they were not delivering on Christmas Day even though that was an option when my order was placed online earlier in the week!!! I was told the next delivery date was December 26 which was after the fact sending a gift to family from afar! Not only did this particular franchise not offer to deliver the day before but they were of no help when I asked for other possibilities! Because of this, I will no longer use Edible Arrangements and I plan on taking this complaint to a higher level! Horrible customer service. Nasty employee and owner. Arrangement was delivered when no one was home and left on doorstep in the sun. Chocolate melted and arraingement looked horrible. Called corporate and was told I had to call the shop it came from and deal with them. When I called I was told too bad.. They didn't have time to wait and re deliver when someone was home or to call ahead to see when someone would be home. Only offered 6 chocolate covered strawberries as compensation.
