Worst customer service! I had ordered an assorted cheesecake for my mother's birthday. Instead, she was sent a few chocolate covered fruits. When I called back to see what had happened the lady working customer support had the worst attitude. I totally understand that with the Covid 19 pandemic inventory is limited, which I would have understood if I had received a notice in advanced that they were out of stock or going to change my order. I even spoke with her earlier that day to get an update on the order since their website tracking does not work, and there was no mention of the out of stock cheesecakes. I could have planned something else for my mom. Cheesecake is her favorite dessert and being far away, my options are limited. Received a confirmation email but No delivery, no communication with store on day of delivery. I attempted to contact the store no answer and no response to voicemail. I placed an order to be delivered today, VALENTINE'S DAY; which is probably one of the busiest days of the year for them so it would be smart to be prepared for these occasions, which is common sense. Well clearly they have no idea to operate their business. I placed my order YESTERDAY to be delivered to a BUSINESS which their site clearly says "Business deliveries may be made as late as 5 PM". I received a call at 6:02 PM saying "We tried to deliver but they're closed" Of course they're closed!!! IT'S A BUSINESS!!! Placed an order online for a co-workers birthday, the ordering process was simple and what I ordered arrived as it should have. I appreciate the same day delivery option which is nice for people who procrastinate, like me. The arrangement just arrived, it's cute. I am a little underwhelmed... I paid an extra $8.00 for six additional chocolate covered strawberries. It's a good thing I did; there is a total of 17 pieces of fruit in there. Writing that out seems like a lot, but looking at it, I am a bit underwhelmed. Adorable as it is, the fruit is a bit on the bruised side. I are a chocolate covered pear slice, the chocolate is absolutely divine, but the pear skin was bruised and the flesh brown. If I hadn't have actually seen the delivered product, I would have rated this one star higher, but seeing that I paid $60.00 for 17 pieces of fruit, some of which were in poor quality, I am a little sad. I love to send these little smiles occasionally. I've had better results from the Reston and Manassas locations; maybe I'll call them next time. read more

I had a wonderful experience here! I have yet to order a bouquet of edible arrangements but I came in this shop for their smoothies. I ordered 8 smoothies and I had to bring them back for my coworkers and I needed to place them in a cup carrier to prevent from spilling..well they didn't have any and the gracious cashier took his time to find and cut me up a box so I could bring my smoothies with me. If I could give this "establishment" negative stars, I would. I went into this store on September 23, 2015 and walked out humiliated by the owner. First, Edible Arrangements headquarters posted a promotion on their Facebook page, Twitter and social media accounts stating that they had a one day deal for a free 7-piece sample box of salted caramel fruit, no purchase necessary and 50% off a box of those salted caramel fruit truffles. I was extremely excited about these two deals and told my mom about it, since she loves Edible Arrangements as well. My mom went into the store and requested a 7-piece sample box (which was free, no purchase necessary according to the promotional flier). The owner refused and asked in a rude tone, "is that all you're here for? will not give samples," my mom, appalled, stood there quietly. The owner proceeded to walk into the kitchen and refused to come back out. My mom left. I called Edible Arrangements headquarters and filed a complaint against the owner. First, they did not honor the promotion that has been promised at EVERY Edible Arrangements store. Second, he was downright rude to my mother. The customer service representative apologized and gave the store a call to tell them they had to honor the promotion. After calling the store, the customer service representative informed me that they talked to the owner and if I went back there in there again, I shouldn't have any trouble getting that free sample and deal, however, if I did have trouble, to give him a call back. Sure enough, I went back to the store, and the owner absolutely refused. He said to me "I will not waste my time making samples for someone who only wants the free sample. If you aren't going to buy anything don't waste my time. All you want is the free s***. I will not waste my time." After that, he laughed in my face. How am I supposed to know if I want to buy it without the sample? Besides the point, since they are supposed to honor this promotion no matter what. I proceeded to tell him that customer service told me to call him back if he gave me and trouble, to which he responded, "go ahead and call as many times as you want. I don't care." After that, he walked into the kitchen (yet again) and refused to come back out. I stood there for fifteen minutes, humiliated by this so called "businessman." I have never been so insulted by an establishment that I've given so much business to. Needless to say, I, along with my friends and family, will never spend another dime there. I would only recommend purchasing something from this location if you want to be humiliated and taunted by the store's owner. read more

I ordered a Mickey Mouse arrangement from this location for a birthday party. It was horribly skimpy. It included one orange, 6 grapes, 6 strawberries, 3 melon slices, 6 small melon balls and 3 pieces of pineapple. The fruit wasn't even fresh. The pineapple had started to brown and the melon balls weren't complete. I know what constitutes a "small" arrangement since I had seen one the day before at another event, and this one was about 1/2 that size. It was such little fruit I had to send a family member out to the store to buy more fruit before the party! Given the price it was absolutely ridiculous. I would never order from this location again. *Also note...it appears the corporate website will only post favorable reviews of their arrangements. I purchased an arrangement from the Edible Arrangement location in Chantilly and had a similar experience as other reviewers in that the fruit was not fresh and the arrangement was skimpier than pictured on the website. However, they did include a bonus surprise. A nice big juicy dead bug in my fruit arrangement. I must admit, I need more protein in my diet, but prefer to get it in a different form. I called the manager to complaint about the unwelcome addition to my arrangement and he said that I couldn't prove that they put the bug in the arrangement and suggested that maybe it got in the arrangement once in the office, even though the arrangement was fully wrapped when it arrived. He refused to refund my money or replace the arrangement and told me to pick the bug out, then the arrangement should be fine. WHAT??? STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Stay away from this location, seems like the guy that runs this place hired his entire family, I believe his name was Ziad. I called to place an order, the guy on the phone tells me that it will be ready by 2:30 pm, I get there at 2:30 only to be told that my order wasn't placed and that maybe I called a different store. The suppose "manager" comes out and tells me " we can't find your order, you probably order through the wrong store" I tell her that this is the correct address and store, I show her the number of the store that i called, she has no idea what their number is, then I proceed to show her my bank statement on my phone showing that they took my money. She then replys... " well that doesn't mean anything, if the order is not in my system I can't do anything for you, you probably called a different store" Then I called the number I order from, phone rings in front of her, she tells me... " it doesn't matter if you have the store number or that bank statement, we can't find your order, you have the call the 1800 number and talk to them we can't help you. Of course after 40 minutes of life wasting I'm pissed off , I tell her " what the f*** do you mean you can't help me" she then says " why you cuss, I'm going to called the cops on you, you either take this 1800 number and get out of store or I will call the cops" She goes to the back to call her husband, the husband comes out says " I'm the owner of edible arrangements, she says you cussed, get out if my store" I could sue this location since this so called "owner" put his hands on me 3 times. Which there are cameras and you can clearly see it. The guy gets on my face trying to act all macho. After this entire dilemma they finally found my owner, the guy that placed the order put it under someone else's name. The owner tells me, " we found your order, now get out of my store" As my wife opens her box of strawberry, they are all crumbled, as if they threw it on the floor. But since the store manager's entire family works here, this event in the eyes of them never happened. After a long weekend at the beach a few weeks ago, I was ultimately surprised when I received this cute hello kitty edible arrangement at my office. I give this place a 2 stars for the pretty arrangement and the handy hello kitty bucket. Otherwise, most of the fruits were very bitter and gross. The only fruits that I was able to eat were the grapes and the strawberry with chocolate (the part without the chocolate was just as bitter as the other fruits). This was unfortunate considering my boyfriend paid a decent amount for something that I could not even fully enjoy and it was my first edible arrangement from him. I went to my store here in Schaumburg Illinois where a sweet young lady named Jennifer helped me pick out the perfect arrangement for my 21 year old. So grateful to your staff and to Mike that he stepped it up when she wasn't home! He called me here stayed on hold and took it to a neighbors house. Kudo's to your level of customer satisfaction! Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever come across. If I could I would give them zero stars I would. My cousin had placed an order a week ago and the day of the delivery she decided she wanted to come pick it up herself. We get there that day around noon to pick it up ourselves and 'Mike' informs us that they had sent out the order for delivery. After Hours and hours of waiting by nothing was ever delivered so we go back to the store just in time, @ 7 pm before closing to complain and the worst part to find out that the Order was there all day!!!! Mike proceeds to be rude and yell at us as we are obviously upset that we've had to jump through such hoops. This was honestly the worst place ever! We had to drive back twice! I would not recommend anyone use their service! If there are any alternatives, please use them. Mike, may the rest of your days be as pleasant as you are. The service at this shop was AMAZING. I wasn't expecting the customer service and attentiveness my Mom and I received when I came in; in fact, I was just going to order the gift online...but we were in the area and my Mom convinced me to go in....the store was small, clean and bright and the customer service was fantastic. The lady upfront assisted with the order and another gentleman, maybe the Manager, came out to help my Mom decide on the right arrangement within the price she was looking for. He broke down each arrangement and the benefits of one over the other and after my Mom finally selected the one, he thanked us and went to the back. I placed an on-line order through the main Edible Arrangements web site for a Large Thank You bouquet on a Friday night for Saturday delivery, and the best thing I can say about my experience is the order arrived on time. My girlfriend immediately sent a picture of the order to thank me, and I was rather surprised that what arrived was a skimpier version of what was shown on the web site. Specifically: - The amount of fruit in the order as received was considerably less than what is show on line for the Large. It appeared to be between the small and regular. - The nature of the fruit in the order as received was not the same quality as what is shown in the on line arrangement; it contained double the cheaper grapes and melons and half the more expensive strawberries and pineapples. - The number of chocolate dipped bananas shown on line was twice what was received. These were also supposed to be half and half white/milk chocolate dipped. The quality of the dipped fruit in what was delivered was all white chocolate and sloppy (looked like a Pinterest fail). I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager on duty at the store to let him know of the error, and he suggested that if the container matched the photo from the web site, then the right item had been received. When I told him the amount and nature of the fruit did not match, he suggested the recipient had eaten some before sending the photo. He said he would follow up on Monday, and hung up on me as I was trying to share how I would prefer to rectify the error. I then called corporate customer service, who were very apologetic. They asked me to send the photos, and opened an official complaint and said the store had 48 hours to respond. After I had heard nothing for one week, I followed up with corporate who sent another request for the store to respond. I followed up again three days later, and they sent another request to the store and corporate responded to me that they would not be satisfied until they knew that the store had contacted me about the complaint. Note that they did not say that they would be satisfied when the store corrected the issue. While I was waiting to hear from the store, I checked online reviews. They are almost universally negative for this store. I wish I had checked before I placed my order. I finally heard from the store manager 11 days after my initial complaint. This time, the manager was very cordial. Like the previous person I spoke to at the store, he explained that the container indicated the right size order was sent. I again explained my expectation that the fruit in the order they delivered match the picture on the website. He offered to send my friend some additional pineapple and strawberries, or said that I could come and pick some up from his store; however, I have no interest in involving my friend in the resolution of the complaint, and I am not local to Chantilly. He then said he had tried to give me a $10 refund but that since I had used a coupon, the system automatically reduced the refund amount to $8.48. I will give him credit for being very professional in the discussion, although I will note that no time did he apologize for my bad experience or the rudeness of his other manager. So bottom line - I would not use this store for a delivery purchase again. I feel like I got the bait and switch on my order, and definitely got some run around and trying to make it right with only limited success. I also learned that Edible Arrangements is a franchise operation, and corporate either has limited ability or limited interest in engaging with its owner operators. read more

If there was a place to provide negative stars, this would be my first and would be completely deserved. The customer service was appalling. I am a loyal business and personal customer of the chain so spend 1k plus a year. After you reach a certain number of arrangements you receive a coupon via email for a free 12 count box. Though I have received several, I have never had a chance to pick up any, but after the week I had, I felt I needed the treat. I have never been to this establishment, but it was on the way home. The coupon said to call or stop by to pick-up your box so I made the trip. I was lost so I called for directions and someone happily gave them to me, and then asked what I was coming to pick-up, a box of 12, which they then said would take 20 minutes. No problem, I was 2 minutes away. I arrive and the owner asks what I am in for and I gave my name. He says "That will be $350", I am thrown a bit, but then figure he was making a joke - a poor one, but a joke never the less. I show him the coupon for the free box on my phone and he says "You should have told me that on the phone". I asked him why, would he have made the box any different? His reply "I would have given you less". I said "excuse me, less than the 12?" He says, "I would have given you 11 1/2". I am thinking this is truly a joke so I told him, I'm sorry, it's Friday, I'm tired, I didn't get it. He looks at me and says "I hate that everyone waits until the end of the day and comes in for a free box". He walks off through his swinging door, says something in another language, then motions for a young lady to come and help me and does not return. I am in shock and appalled. I told the young lady to tell him to keep his box, I wanted nothing from him after his ignorance and disrespect and left the store. I would not have trusted anything they served. Do not patronize this place either in person or via delivery. I went to post and saw other similar posts (wish I had seen them earlier) and would hope that corporate, which I will contact, recognizes that this is someone who should not be representing their brand. I am certain they would not distribute the award meaning for it to never be redeemed. Truly disappointing. I will be using Sherrie's Berries and other brands going forward. read more

Prior to placing an order with this company, I called and spoke with Mike several times. He assured me they could make my order and I could pick it up on Sunday. After I placed my order online and paid for it, Farak called me back and said they cannot open the store on Sunday so I can pick it up. I told her Mike assured me I could pick up the order before placing it and he gave me his personal cell phone number to call the day of pick up to make sure someone was available. Farak said she knows he was trying to accommodate my pick up but something changed and they cannot do it. I told her after I placed the order and relied on the information it's a little late for me to make adjustments. She said she doesn't care it's not a big deal I can call another store.
