I am giving this store zero stars......:( I ordered edible arrangements for my daughter online. We have never not been together on Valentine's Day in 18 years. I placed the order and received my receipt via email. I put instructions on my daughters class Schedule on the order. I called the store all day no answer. The automated machine asked to leave a message which you can not as it is full. After calling all day I was finally answered my an automated recording that asks you to hold and someone will be right with you. I listened to all the sale items the store has to offer. I waited patiently on hold for 2 hours 19 minutes and 19 seconds and no one answered the phone. I waited to call the store today hoping someone can assist me about the delivery no one answered but i did hear on the recording that they make deliveries 7 days a week. I'm disappointed that this was the first time dealing with this location and I will never order from them again. I order every year from edible arrangements as my daughter loves there products. But I will not be ordering from them anymore as this is a tradition that was ruined..... I attempted to call the customer service number for assistance, sent emails and no answer guess I will be on hold for another 2 hours for no response..... the only reason the store has 1 star is because you can not send the review without giving at least one star I came back to edit my review and give 3 stars as Ms.Dorthy who called me was very pleasant and apologized for the company not making the delivery and expressed they where overwhelmed with delivers. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my mom. The arrangement never arrived then when I contacted them, after about 25 times, someone answers the phone. I begin to explain to the person that my order never arrived but received an email saying it was delivered, the person hung up the phone. I would not recommend this place. I order Birthday deliveries for my mother and father; this will be my 5th order from this location. The arrangements are beautiful, the fruit is always fresh, they are always kind and answer any questions I have. I have had a stroke; it can be very challenging to understand speech at times. I wanted to point out that they are very patient with me. I place my orders online. The online ordering system allows me to take my time. It also allows me to make additional notes advising of any special instructions. I thought I had made a mistake when ordering. I called and the gentleman I spoke with addressed my concern right away. He was very kind and took the time to explain everything to me. The order is for my mother's birthday and I was so afraid I made a mistake. The gentleman assured me that I had done everything correctly. Last week, I ordered for my father's birthday. The arrangement looked so yummy...my dad was very happy with everything. I ordered for Valentine's Day & received not one but two melted edible arrangements & my pineapple had black hair on it. I called the store & the customer service line & left several messages. No one has called me back almost a month later. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Even the drivers knew it was melted & told me they'd contacted store & didnt. DONT ORDER HERE. GO ELSEWHERE. Let me start out by saying I really did like Edible Arrangements. But when I send my friend an arrangement from the Colonial Heights store. She didn't receive what I payed for. It wasn't nothing but professional. However all the stores aren't like this. And she wasn't impressed by the way she received it. Some fruit wasn't even ripen. Or even cut right it was poorly decorated. I went to the store today to speak to a manager. The store was closed even when the sign on the door said it was to open. I'm not happy about this , because it meant a lot to me. However I will not allow this to rest. Anyone who has ever sent one knows it's not cheap. For sure this store has dropped the ball hard. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. FRUIT IS NOT EDIBLE. I received a Large fruit basket for my birthday and the fruit was not edible it was not ripe. I spoke with the manager who made my basket and she believes that the fruit was ripe at the time because the skewer was able to penetrate the fruit. I explained to her that the fruit is hard and she told me that fruit gets harder as the days go by (lol). I have never heard of fruit getting harder as time goes by like its a cookie. I told her I can bring the basket back to her so she can see what I'm referring to and she said she does not want to see the fruit and she is not willing to remake or refund the basket. A waste of money and time. This is the worst location and basket that I have ever receive. I contacted the corporate office who filed the complaint with the local store. I called them back to inform them that the owner was not willing to address my concerns and was told that the local store has the final say on how the want to address the complaints. I was very displeased with this place. My granddaughters ordered an arrangement that was supposed to be delivered for my birthday. My granddaughter called the store and the worker said it had been delivered, which it had not. I called myself and spoke to a worker there and he said the female driver said she had delivered it but couldn't give a description of the person she delivered it to. They told me they would have it to me first thing in the morning. Day 2, no delivery in the morning. When I called and ask about it I was told it would be here between 11 and 2. 2:30 I called and the guy couldn't find the order. Then he said he found it and it was on the truck to be delivered but he didn't know when it would get here. At 3:30 the driver called my granddaughter and said it was on it's way.. I sat at home for 2 days waiting. We will never order from them again and I will makes sure I inform all of my friends the poor service we received. The delivery guy when he got his was very nice. Baffling and bizarre experience. Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement to be delivered to Mom on Mother's Day- never arrived. Contacted Edible Arrangements, they communicated to store...got a call the next day that they had attempted to deliver, but parents were home all day and doorbell cam showed nothing. They said they would deliver on Monday, no call-no show. Called the next day and was told that no one was home and they "took pictures ", of what I don't know. On Tuesday, I gave them my parents number, someone called and said they would redo the order and call personally when they were on the way- so... no call, no show...again. Contacted my credit card company to dispute charge and will let them deal with it. Never will deal with Edible Arrangements again. read more

I ordered an arrangement with balloons for my Mother's birthday. Advertised as being able to deliver to her location. Cancelled delivery because they actually don't deliver there. Again arranged for the delivery in closer proximity to the store. Arrangement never arrived and unable to track it. The manager had no explanation other than he works at this site once in a while. Service recovery 0, had my Mother to pick it up at the curbside. Well, no balloons attached. Charged full price and this experience was not ideal, inconvenient. I am not sure if I will ever order or recommend Edible Arrangements to anyone. There is no ability to contact assistance other than at an individual store level. I came to this location to resolve an issue with an order as the chester location was closed and still took my money and order online. The employees could not provide assistance and the manager didn't even come out front the back to provide assistance as she was in the back yelling what needed to be said. The customer service was Garbage. I scheduled a pickup for 9:30am Saturday July 25th 2020. I drove 42 miles from my home in Blackstone, VA to this location. I was early. I missed a call at 9:29am so I called back minutes later to be told that my order would not be ready. I got NO email the day before. Kenny in a cavalier manner without apology told me my order would be ready at 10:30am, A FULL HOUR after the scheduled pickup time. I walked into the location and asked the young woman if this was a common occurrence. The excuse was given that they had no containers. Kenny then came up to the counter to see what the issue was. He was very curt and rude. He was not forthcoming with the management information and rudely told me he would have the franchise owner call me. I don't look for free accommodations despite the severe inconvenience of driving 45 minutes to be told my order would be pushed back one hour. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. Terrible service! I placed an order at 9 am on Friday, which they failed to deliver. Was told they would deliver it 1st thing Saturday morning, luckily my wife works on Saturdays. I called to check the status mid-day Saturday and was only told its out for delivery. I expressed my dissatisfaction with their service. Only after I said I would be writing a review of my experience, did the clerk respond with " I could have compensated for your trouble, but since you are going to do that then I wont. Good bye.'" and he hung up on me. They finally delivered it at 3 pm on Saturday. The over priced cost of chocolate dipped fruit is due to the service they are providing. STAY AWAY! I made an order for Valentines day, payed for delivery and did not recieve it till 9:00pm. Nobody called till 8:30pm and asked if I even still wanted it. No apology from them just excuses why it was so late. When we started to eat it we found that most of the fruit was bruised, rotten or mushy. They even tried to cover up the rotten ones with the chocolate. When we called the next day for a refund the guy we talked to had no idea what he was doing and sounded like he was drunk. He finally said he had to have someone call back because he didn't know how to do a refund and I never got a call. I had to end up calling them the next day for my refund. NEVER AGAIN!! This place is a JOKE! I made a simple order online Tuesday to be delivered to a business On Valentine's Day. I figured they would be busy so I made my order a couple days early to ensure delivery time. I also had to pay a $20 delivery fee for to be delivered ON Valentine's Day (Friday). I called the company all day long trying to check on my order and see if it would be delivered by time they closed. With not getting any answers they tell you to leave a message but you can't leave a message with the mailbox being full. So after several more calls still no reply and still no edible arrangements. I called today hoping someone would be able to talk to me about the issue, still no answer for several call's... finally getting an answer they tell me they can't guarantee a delivery until Monday. This is my 1st time ordering from Edible Arrangements and I don't think I'd ever order again. One young lady COMPLETELY LIED to me. ON VALENTINES DAY!! How do you ruin Valentine's Day? You lie. That's exactly what she did. I called several times to checkup on my order, which was being delivered approx: 2mins from Southpark Mall. The young lady told me that my order "was on the truck". This was at 1:20pm. I was told my order could be delivered by 1:00pm. It's Valentine's Day. No worries. At least it's on the truck. I call back at 2:00pm because now my girlfriend is getting off of work. A different young lady with answered the phone. At least she was kind when she told me the truth. Too bad I forgot her name. Terrible communication and customer service. I ordered a 12 piece fruit box arrangement strawberries, apples and banana chocolate dipped pieces for a birthday. I noted and then called them after i placed the order to make sure that the bananas were only chocolate dipped because it is advertised it is half milk choco and half white choco. The wonderful elderly woman that i ordered them for does not like white chocolate. The gentleman i spoke with on the phone said it was no problem and left another note of it to be done in all milk chocolate. So, then the next day JUST TO DOUBLE CHECK i called again and the woman that i spoke with assured me it would all be done in milk chocolate and not to worry. Well, it was delivered the next day with the white chocolate covering. I cannot begin to explain how frustrated I was. I called them for a refund and he said he could not give me a refund because only the bananas were wrong... yes, the bananas were wrong, which in turn, messes up the ENTIRE gift itself. Needless to say nothing was done and I will not be ordering from the company again since customer service is obviously not important to them and they cannot rectify the situation. My husband ordered a Valentine arrangement that was to be delivered on Valentine's Day. Even though he purchased this well in advance it was never delivered. After trying for three days he was finally able to get someone on the phone (today) and he was told "sorry we were too busy" when he asked why his delivery was never made. I ordered the Delicious fruit design dipped strawberries and swizzled oranges to be delivered to my boyfriend on his birthday. I called this shop PRIOR to ordering to make sure that they were able to deliver the arrangement when I needed. I had asked if it was possible to guarantee delivery after 4PM on a Monday. They said they would try, but could not guarantee. I asked if they would be open Easter Sunday and if that would be a better day. They said that they would be open and it would be better since they could deliver any time that day....So I ordered the arrangement to be delivered the day prior to his birthday as discussed over the phone. I ordered nearly a month ahead of time just to make sure! About 1 week prior to the delivery I got a call saying they had made a mistake and were not going to be open that Sunday after all. After a short chat they said they could deliver after 4PM on Monday. When Monday came, I got yet ANOTHER call saying that because the address was fairly far away, they would need to deliver the arrangement earlier and that they had tried to call my boyfriend but the number was disconnected! I reconfirmed the phone number thinking that perhaps I had made a mistake....nope! They had the correct number and had miss dialed. They did finally get him on the phone and fortunately he was out of school early that day. I thought the fiasco was over...nope! My boyfriend was happy I sent him the arrangement and sent me a picture of it. WOW!!! It looks like the new guy threw it together and no one checked it. It had the correct fruit in it, but looked like crap! Seriously there is about $15 worth of fruit and chocolate in this arrangement. I paid for the service of having a nice looking arrangement put together and delivery service....and I really don't feel like I got what I paid for.
