My son and DIL ordered an arrangement for my b'day from the store in Lewes, De. They did not know I had gone to NY. The driver, Lisa, texted me saying she had left the arrangement with my neighbor. When I contacted Lisa to thank her for doing that but I wouldn't be back from NY for a week (the fruit would not be good) she quickly jumped into action to resolve this. Lisa spoke to management and they agreed that I could get a replacement upon my return to De. I picked up my replacement order yesterday and it was quite satisfactory. I had even requested no cantaloupe b/c I can't tolerate even the smell of it. They used oranges instead, most appreciated!, Lisa scored high marks in customer service. Ordered a fruit arrangement for close to $90 with two days notice and special instructions for a delivery as early in the morning as possible. The ordered processed successfully. On the delivery day, it was 2pm and nothing had shown up yet. I called the store and they said it would be another hour or 2 because they only deliver to my town later in the day. She also said they were busy. When I asked about why someone wouldn't call the customer to tell them their delivery request could not be made, she had no answer. She just repeated the same BS about your town is last. She could care less about what happened. Considering this delivery was going with us to a hospital really mattered on timing. But they could care less. Never again. read more

I received this Edible Arrangement today as a Get Well gift and sent a picture of it to my girlfriend who ordered it for me. She was shocked at the measly size of the arrangement and said it was supposed to be enough for four people. This looks like an anorexic fruit arrangement. The strawberries and grapes were incredibly small and if you look at the orange slices, you can see it wouldn't even add up to one whole orange. My friend called to complain but Edible Arrangements said they weren't going to do anything about it. Most of us know how costly these arrangements are and how easy it is to take advantage of customers because they usually don't see the end-product. You're better off ordering from Harry and David's which have always been consistent. I received a beautiful box of fruit and cheese from them this week and the fruit was fresh, full and tasty! read more

1800Flowers decided not to deliver my flowers I had ordered for someone's birthday and they didn't notify me. I found out at about 1pm so I called to see if Edible Arrangements in Lewes could deliver something same day. Not only did they deliver with in 20/30 mins of me getting off the phone but they sent a whole extra arrangement with the strawberries I ordered!!!! The girl I spoke to just said she would give me a balloon free of charge for my troubles but I was blown away at the whole additional arrangement. They truly saved the day!!!! read more

I've ordered quite often from the lewes store. I would say I've been around from old owner to current, and I must say they have done a great job turning it around. Your product is always spectacular. Everyone there is always friendly and pleasant. I will take into consideration from now on when I am ordering last minute , I shouldn't take it out on the employees and I'm sorry I have a couple of time. So Pappa Johns can find my house with a $20 pizza, but I order a $100 gift for my sister and they deliver it 1/4 of a mile down the road to a house with no house number on it and dont even ask if its the right address??? For real??? Never again. They were just like.... sorry. Didnt offer to pick it up and bring it back, nothing! My 73 year old neighbor didnt even read the card, just started chowin' down! I used this Editable Arrangement store many times over the course of several years to order arrangements for my elderly parents. I believed they might have changed owners. I became increasing discouraged as they did not accept their own coupons for $5 discount or for free box of berries when I had complied enough on line points. Also, requested a pineapple number placed on top of bouquet to represent an anniversary, told them I would be willing to pay extra for it. Bouquet arrived without the number. Also, had a great deal of difficulty speaking with a real person via telephone! Tried to call for 5 days without an answer over Valentine's Day. Finally, just gave up. Another point of contention was the delivery fee. Over the years that I ordered it climbed up and up. Really, $13 delivery fee to a home less than 2 miles away from the store seems a bit steep. Called national line with my concerns. Although they sounded helpful and assured me that this would be taken care of . . . nothing was ever followed through. I no longer use this business. I now use Flowers on Savannah to order fresh fruit and snack baskets. Paul is very kind and helpful. read more

I just find it weird that twice when I have called in the morning, when the website still says order in the next 5-6 hours for delivery today, the female who answers the phone always gives the same story that their delivery truck has been in an accident??? REALLY maybe get a new driver or call someone else in to deliver something 5 min from your business. read more

So I placed an order for same day delivery yesterday. I was charged $60 since the delivery fee was like $14. It was supposed to be a surprise for a friend to cheer her up while she was away on business! But when I didn't hear from her all day and tried to track my order at 10pm it still just said order received by store, I asked her if she had gotten it just in case maybe it was a glitch. She said she hadn't received anything! Today she waited all day and still nothing!!!! When I tracked my order again today, STILL "order received by store." I tried to call the store and an automated message came on saying they were closed or unavailable and told me to leave a message. Instead of a beep, another voice came on that said please hold while your call is being transferred. Well after a minute listening to the hold music, the original automated message came back on and then this time at the end, it said I can't leave message because the mailbox is full!!!!!!!!! My friend drove home later this evening for a few days before she goes back and now I am out $60 for something that NEVER GOT DELIVERED with no explanation whatsoever!!! I called the international customer service line as well and had to leave a message. I left a detailed message about the situation and am waiting to here back from them. I will update this when it gets resolved to let you know how it ends. read more
