Whilst walking back from the Sea Witch 2025 Parade we ducked into a side street to avoid the onslaught of vehicular, pedestrian, and stroller traffic on Rehoboth Avenue and once again found this gem of a bakery. Upon entering, my first question was Can I have a little of everything?" The few photos id posted don't do justice to the variety of scrumptious baked goods. We decided upon the Cheese Crumb Cake which we enjoyed once back home with a fresh cup of coffee. I don't mind paying for quality, and everything here seemed top notch. Finally made it in early on a weekend to get donuts. We walked in the door around 7:30 and many flavors were already sold out. So do get there early for some delicious smelling, looking, freshly made donuts. Lots of classic and filled flavors like Boston cream and angel cream. I enjoyed a very well filled powdered jelly donut. Their pies also look delicious, so had the donuts run out, we would have still happily enjoyed something. I would never return to this bakery after the experience we had with our wedding cake. We placed our order in person months before the wedding and went through all the details of the cake. We wanted a simple cake for the two of us in a heart shaped (pictured here). We picked up the cake and it looked completely awful. The lettering was massive and not centered and nothing like what we were expecting. The cake was also totally slanted. We asked the man up front if we could have the lettering fixed but we ended up just having him remove the lettering entirely since he said the baker was gone for the day and we wouldn't be able to fix it in time for our wedding. We didn't use the cake because it looked terrible even after the lettering was removed. We went back for a refund and the baker told us it was our fault it was slanted, even though we left it out on the counter exactly as instructed. She was completely unsympathetic and couldn't see what the issue with the lettering was. Or the fact that the heart was massive and uncentered. She reluctantly gave me a refund and said it's my fault I should've brought it back sooner even though the bakery is closed Mon-Wed and we brought it back Thursday morning. She told me she didn't care if I left a bad review because she's been in business for 26 years and one bad review won't stop that. Don't waste your time on this place. read more

We stopped in Pasqualini's to get some cupcakes. When we arrived, there were no cupcakes out so we had to ask if they had any available. The employee was very friendly and checked in the back since they are made to order. The employee unfortunately had icing on her fingers and got it all over the box though and also taped it sloppily so it didn't look very presentable. We were giving it to our friend for her birthday so we were disappointed with the sloppiness. We ended up getting 4 chocolate cake with chocolate frosting cupcakes. We didn't eat any of the cupcakes since they were gifted, so we are not sure how they tasted. read more

While we've lived in this are for 6 years this was my first trip to Pasqualinis. It will not be my last. Searching the area by for a large carrot birthday cake led me to this gem. I was able to order a cake pick it up one week later and it was perfect. Delicious cake and well priced. The bakery was full of lovely goodies, cakes, cookies, pastries, breads. It reminded me of bakeries when I was growing up. Family owned and operated. This is a wonderful spot in Rehobeth beach, and will become our go to old school bakery. read more

Call me crazy... but I did it. I ordered a cake from this place even though the reviews of cakes are nooooot shining. It was my dad's birthday and we were in Rehoboth Beach for an extended family vacation. The morning of his birthday we realized we needed cake! There aren't really bakeries around other than coffee shops. We weren't looking for pastries. Soooo I called and the lady who answered was super happy to make me a cake. Whatever I wanted. I requested plain vanilla with whipped cream and strawberries of some sort. She offered whipped cream or buttercream topping. I opted for whipped cream inside with the strawberries and buttercream on the outside. She offered decoration themes and I said beach theme would be fine - but to add a '61'. I braced myself before everyone took their first bite. And guess what? Everyone enjoyed themselves! No catastrophe and a happy birthday boy! Was it the best cake I've ever had? No. But it was good enough! Was the service and interaction with the bakery great? Yes. Don't hate on this place if you need a cake in Rehoboth. Beggars can't be choosers. read more

They called me back quickly after I submitted an online order request, and all the staff we spoke to, both on the phone and at pick-up, were so friendly. I told them I wanted an aqua-blue beach-y yellow cake with buttercream frosting. We loved the simple but elegant design with white chocolate shells and glitter sprinkles. The DH picked up many items this past Saturday. A cheese coffee cake, sticky buns, danish and assorted Italian cookies. The cookies were fabulous. As he got assorted some had raspberry filling, some had chocolate some were plain with sprinkles. All very buttery and fresh tasting. The danish we ate the following day so the pastry was a little off, but that's our fault. We had cheese and fruit filling and they were all well filled and very tasty without being sugary. We froze the coffee cake and got to that today. The cake was buttery with lots of tasty crumbs. The sticky buns which we heated gently on Monday was inedible. It was covered generously in nuts, but the nuts were stale, old something was wrong. Perhaps frozen and the bag wasn't sealed properly. Anyway we scrapped the nuts off half ate the pastry and ended up throwing the other half out. So overall most was on point. We also go here in the fall for their pumpkin roll which we always enjoy. read more

This is probably the worst bakery/cake I have ever seen or experienced in my life. The cost was high for a regular bridal shower cake and the end product looked like a 5 yr old would do a better job!! It was suppose to be a naked cake with icing dripping from top, They described the cake to have a pink white chocolate icing and buttercream filling ( they charged me extra $10 for) but it was actually all sugar icing! Such a cheat! Awful, completely awful and when I called them to ask about this disaster the woman on the phone was super rude and yelled at us and told us to call the owner ( who never replied to my message or answered my call) It was sooo embarrassing to use them for the cake for my bff's bridal shower!! A small local bakery with a broad selection and an adjacent/affiliated lunch location. Unfortunately, the 3 pastries we tried were terrible (a strawberry cheese danish, a filled fruit danish, and a pan-a-chocolate). The strawberry cheese danish was flat, dry, and flavorless, tasting like something that had come out of a plastic wrapper in a free continental breakfast. As somebody with a sweet-tooth, a regular traveler who tries every bakery I can, and a decent pastry cook in my own right, this is the kind of place I really want to like. Every single time we go to Rehoboth (at least 2 weeks per year), we visit Pasqualinis Bakery. I LOVE the coffee cake more than anything, and this summer we surprised our family and got married on the beach. Of course we called Cathy for the cake and I heard from many of our guests that it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. It was as delicious as it was beautiful. I ordered a cake about a week before our arrival to the beach. The cake was for friends whom just married. I received a call back right away and Molly and everyone was so nice. They even let me know they could do the cake that I sent them a picture of. We called the Sunday we were to pick it up( Sunday, July 29th) and we were told they were closing a 1/2 hour earlier so please pick it up.
