I have now ordered 4-5 Edible Arrangements from this location and been thrilled with their service. The bouquets have always been well-made with on-time delivery and no hiccups. This past order, I got a birthday arrangement, cookies and cupcakes and balloons. I placed the order online on a Monday and they delivered the order to a company here in town by the afternoon on Friday. The process was easy, all online! They currently have their own delivery but also use DoorDash drivers sometimes. I'm not sure which was used in my recent delivery, but it was great timing anyway. Yes, Edible Arrangements are for special occasions and pricier, but it's a great spectacle and people love them. If I had custom ordered a cake for bites for 50+ people, the price would be the same. The manager at the store is unbelievably nice. I was ordering some chocolate-covered strawberries as a reward for my granddaughters who got their first shot at 5 and 7. It was Saturday early afternoon and the delivery driver had already left for the day. The manager personally delivered the strawberries so the girls would not be sad. Who does that? This was not the case, order never arrived, no communication, ruined Valentine's Day not only for the recipient, my fiancée but also myself as I was looking forward to seeing the look of excitement on her face. The owner David instructed myself as well as the others that have left a review yesterday on Google Reviews that he would be in contact. This was a lie, I had to reach out to the store. That's not when this story stops as it took the 9th call to finally get through to someone and explain the situation. They mentioned they are a part of a call center and not present at the physical Madison location and that they would put me in contact with a manager. If the manager or owner David says he's going to follow up and contact you to make it right, don't believe it, this is a publicity stunt for Google Reviews to limit the damage the reviews are doing to potential customers. That constitutes theft and fraud in my book, taking money, not providing services paid for and providing no outlet for a refund or contact to obtain the services paid for. read more

A friend sent me a delicious Edible Arrangement during my maternity leave. The fruit was fresh and juicy and oh so sweet! They even had a pineapple slice cut in the shape of a baby stroller. LOVE the whole company. Finally stopped in person to visit the store itself. Nothing about the walk-in store appeals to walk-in customers. This is simply order and go. I love to order and send EA and look forward to receiving more myself (to date I've finally gotten 1 and it was a great surprise). Delivery guy in Madtown was super friendly, eager to work around my lack of ability to buzz him in the bldg so he called my cell and met me at the Capital during the whole Michael Moore speech blah blah. My point today: I'm glad they are offering more white chocolate offerings, look forward to trying the caramel dip and I love surprising everyone I care enough about with EA. Recently got their "Dipped Fruit Cookout Delight" to take to the hostess of a party--and everyone LOVED it! The fruit is fresh & delicious and top-quality chocolate (white & dark) made this piece a standout on the appetizer table. My personal fave is their dipped bananas (yum!) but the strawberries, apples and pineapple were delicious, too. When the fruit is gone, the cute Weber "Sizzlin' Grill" keepsake is top quality (sturdy!) and I almost hated to give it away as I can picture many reuses for this little cutie over the summer! Here's a bit of a back-story: when my husband and I were dating a few years ago, we were long-distance for about 8 months. That meant sending each other Edible Arrangements on special occasions and 'just because' moments. Although for the most part, this location has done okay, they've definitely had moments that make us question their customer service standards. I ordered a fruit & chocolate arrangement with balloons. The delivery person showed up at my husband's apartment and gave him the fruit & chocolates. But WAIT. The balloons? They're in the tree in the front yard. Yup, the balloons flew away from the delivery guy's hands and got stuck in the tree outside. WHAT? My husband asked if it was going to be replaced and they pretty much went "yeah, well sucks to be you." The delivery guy left. The balloons were in the tree for about a year until it was cut down by the city. No refund. No apologies. Nothing. Since that incident, I've ordered one other time and still wasn't as pleased. Presentation of the fruits and chocolates just wasn't impressive. However, they did taste delicious. read more

The strawberries were of the extra large type, very fresh with no blemishes, and the green apples were also tart and crisp. We were able to see how clean the back of the store was and he told us information about the baskets themselves. He also provided us with a sample of some fruit which was delicious! I've ordered from them at least 3-4 times over the past two years and usually send my parents who are both teachers - wonderful arrangements for birthdays or Mother's day to their school... and they are the biggest hit. I came to write a review about their latest customer service. I had sent my mother a bouquet for Mother's Day this past weekend and sent it to her school on Friday because they were going out of town over the weekend. However- she took off from school early and the school of course couldn't sign for them.... and because the fruit doesn't last after it's been cut and dipped in chocolat - there was no way it was going to survive the weekend till Monday. However - I received a call from them letting me know this Friday - was so upset and disappointed and while they apologized - there was really nothing the girl at the time could do. However - I received a voicemail the next day from her saying the owner, Don I believe, said he would go ahead and make her a new one and bring it to her on Monday instead. They even called my mom direct to let her know since they didn't reach me! I know it sounds silly but it made me emotional.... THIS IS FOR MY MOM who I love so much and just wanted to give her a great surprise and tell her how much I love her since we live so far away. I recently placed an order online to be delivered by an Edible Arrangements store in Madison, Wisconsin. Not thinking about the time zone difference (I was ordering this from California), I didn't realize that the store was about to close. When a gentleman at the Edible Arrangements store on University Avenue got my order, he called to tell me that his crew had already gone home for the day and that my order couldn't be made until the following business day. This would have meant a Tuesday delivery instead of Saturday, due to the Holiday weekend. When I told him I knew my friends would be working on Tuesday and I had really hoped it would be delivered on Saturday, he looked over my order again and saw that it was a sympathy gift for friends who had recently lost their cat. He said he had an arrangement that was more expensive than the one I had ordered, but he would take it to my friends for me at no additional cost. I was floored and extremely grateful.
