They get extremely busy during that time, and the process can feel pretty chaotic. We placed mobile orders each time, but the donuts aren't placed in the mobile pickup area, so you have to get someone's attention to get them which can be extremely difficult when they're busy. Unfortunately, we also had an issue with one of our sandwich orders. It was made incorrectly, and we called the store five times with no answer. We eventually went back in person, and it took almost 30 minutes to get a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was still made incorrectly. As far as the food goes, the donuts were good, and I'd give the coffee about a 7/10. The sandwiches, however, were a no for me. Overall, the coffee is worth trying, but I'd recommend going outside of the busy morning rush and double-checking your order before leaving.

The staff just isn't the friendliest in town. The interactions often feel very transactional: you're here to buy a product and I'm here to hand it to you. No greeting when entering, no real warmth when leaving -- just neutral service. It's a bit surprising when you learn the businesses are owned by a local pastor. You would assume making customers feel welcomed would be a top priority. That said, during today's visit we did see what great service could look like. A regular customer walked in and one employee greeted her enthusiastically while another double-checked her order because it wasn't her "usual." That was wonderful to see -- I just wish that same energy was given to everyone walking through the door. Now for the reason we came today. Each day they post a "name of the day" on Facebook where someone with that name gets a free donut or ice cream from their sister shop. I follow along and love letting friends know when their name pops up. I've even redeemed one myself before. It's just one of those small things that makes people smile. On Sundays we usually grab breakfast somewhere on the way to church. Last week I saw their March specialty donuts posted and one looked like something our daughter would really enjoy, so we made a detour from our usual (and cheaper) breakfast spot to stop here. And to give credit where it's due -- the donuts themselves are fantastic. They're creative, fun, and genuinely delicious specialty donuts. Not your average donut shop offering. This dessert coffee drink did NOT disappoint and it was as scrumptious as I anticipated it would be. A wonderful way to set the tone for a long ride home filled with endless traffic disturbances. This coffeehouse is incredibly charming both inside and outside. The place was hustling when I arrived shortly before noon. Luckily a huge party was departing so I was able to get a parking spot on the main road in front of the shop. I also didn't have to wait an inordinate amount of time. It is important to note everything is made fresh to order so be certain to allow time when you visit. If you are in a rush, wait until you have time to savor the experience. There was a generous variety of baked desserts in a glass case and other items were available to order. I placed my order and took in all the decor and scenery as I waited for it to be prepared. During this time I noticed there was a seated area in the rear and the walls were covered with biblical verses. I love this! The staff were all working hard cleaning, creating, and serving guests. Finally, I had the pleasure of watching the young lady create my Foo Foo. The chocolate rim and the crunchy peanut topping really set my soul on fire as I enjoyed my afternoon delight.
