We went here about three times during our vacation and had a pretty mixed experience overall. A few tips: I would definitely avoid going around 9:30-10:30 AM. They get extremely busy during that time, and the process can feel pretty chaotic. We placed mobile orders each time, but the donuts aren't placed in the mobile pickup area, so you have to get someone's attention to get them which can be extremely difficult when they're busy. Unfortunately, we also had an issue with one of our sandwich orders. It was made incorrectly, and we called the store five times with no answer. We eventually went back in person, and it took almost 30 minutes to get a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was still made incorrectly. As far as the food goes, the donuts were good, and I'd give the coffee about a 7/10. The sandwiches, however, were a no for me. Overall, the coffee is worth trying, but I'd recommend going outside of the busy morning rush and double-checking your order before leaving. read more

With limited selection I went with the 'lil pumpkin' donut for $3, basically a glazed donut with icing and sugar sprinkles on top. The little touch of chocolate and stem was cute to make it look like a pumpkin. I didn't have high hopes for this one but wanted to try one. I've been going to Swillerbees since they first opened and as a local I'm really bummed after my visit this morning. We got the chocolate frosted donuts and they have changed significantly. The donut itself was dense and crispy and didn't taste fresh (not light and chewy like they used to be) and the icing was hard and flavorless (again, not sweet and glaze like). They seem to have lost the homemade touch that really made them special. PLEASE go back to the old recipe!!! Went here for donuts and were good. Today we got gingerbread grinch heart did not look great! Did not taste at all like gingerbread. My son got a ham egg and cheese croissant and he liked it. We also bought a reindeer hot chocolate donut and it looked , not that great. My mom ate it and said it was good. My daughter got a cinnamon sugar cronut and and said it was b ok. The donut options are amazing, although this makes it really hard to choose! We got a half-dozen to go, and since the line was getting long, we had to decide quickly. We were there at 8:30 on a Thursday morning, and it was really busy. Advice - GO EARLY! The donuts? Heavenly - and huge!! I had the peach cobbler, and I had to eat it with a fork. Topped with freshly whipped cream and buttery brown sugar crumbles, it was filled with peaches and joy. My companion had the chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles and pronounced it "excellent". I didn't get to taste it myself because it quickly disappeared. This is my favorite place to come to when I visit Flagler Beach!! Very modern and instagramable- perfect backdrop for your donut Instagram story. Their coffee bar is complete- a wall of syrups, the usual espresso drinks, and a chai latte! Something for everyone. I was not expecting their menu of savory items- bagel sandwiches and crustless quiche and bagels. This is great for those of us who are not sweet breakfast people. Both times I was here this morning, there was about a 10 minute line outside the door. It was a nice morning outside so I did not mind, and the building makes sure you are in the shade while you wait so you can wait to get sunburned til you walk the 5 minutes down to the beach!! I believe most of the positive reviews were during the original management. The new owners have taken all that is good and memorable and turned it bland and tacky. The donuts are without character, often stale, and the coffee is no better than Dunkin or Starbucks, but takes twice as long to create. The ambiance is legitimately garbage. No personality...just blah. Plus, the owners are just money hungry business owners who care more about an extra cent of profit than they do product quality.
