I sent one to my father and brother because they have everything except someone cooking so its healthy and with cupcakes and brownies also indulgent. I did not know my dad and brother were going out of town, needless to say after 2 attempts to deliver I found out they were out of town. I called the store delivering and they were absolutely accommodating and delivered when they got home 4 days later. I got my mom an edible arrangement for Valentine's Day And despite the crowd while coming in to pick it up. I actually spoke with the manager Karen and watching her speak with (testing) customers before me she had a big smile and great attitude the whole time. By the time it was my turn it felt like I was being treated like the most important person in the room! I got home & got to eat the Blooming arrangement and a box of strawberries. My grandma loved the pineapple and all the rest of the fruit was eaten over the next couple day. Big strawberries too those were my fav (: Where do they get that stuff???? Soooooo Christmas eve ordered an arrangement for my grandparents. They went to eat it and all the fruit was rotten. I called to complain as the arrangement was over $90. Lisa said no problem I could do a free arrangement of fruit. Okay I guess that works. Going to my grandparents for dinner il bring the new fruit. Lisa and I agreed on 9:30 am pickup on Saturday. I was here promptly at 9:30 and her staff had no record of the fruit. They had to call Lisa and she said I was suppose to be there at 1 to pick up. They now told me a 15 min wait to put this arrangement together. Funny as I am suppose to work at 10:30. Overall TOTALLY lacking customer service. I would not recommend going to this location and sticking with Elgin for future arrangements. read more

No STAR! Worst business we've ever dealt with! My mom had ordered an arrangement since she couldn't visit from Canada & they NEVER delivered it! To top it off, she spoke to multiple employees who said different things and asked her many times if she wanted to cancel her order. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! Awful person at this store. This arrangement was a gift from a friend. They tried to deliver to me, but I wasn't home. The next morning I called and the lady was short with me, never asked for my name or address and said that I would be one of the first ones delivered. When I asked her how she knew who I was and my arrangement, she blew me off and said, yes, I know who you are. There are two arrangements that didn't get delivered yesterday. Nice..... I called two hours later and she claimed the delivery driver had an emergency and was late. Then she said she'd call me back with delivery time. I got a call promptly and she said he was En route. Then, two minutes later she calls me back and says I'm out of the way for the driver and if could come and pick it up. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I asked her if it was ever on the truck to be delivered and she said apparently not. How could you not know that???? Then, she apologized and said she would give me six free, chocolate-covered strawberries. Okay, that was nice, but did my friend pay for delivery? I find out, I'm 6 miles straight up the street from them--in the same city! I walk in and see my arrangement in the fridge which is in the store front. She didn't know that.....really? Schaumburg Rd location has terrible service! I ordered a $130 arrangement yesterday for a birthday to be delivered at the persons place of business. I specifically asked if it would be delivered before 6 p.m. which is when the person left work for the day. I was guaranteed that it would be no problem to have it delivered by then. It ended up it wasn't delivered until after 8 p.m. after the birthday girl was gone for the day. It was left at the front desk to be given to her the next day although her place of business had no refrigeration to keep it fresh. Since it was left although she was no longer at work.....she told her assistant to take it home and enjoy it since it would not last through the nite with no refrigeration. I called Edible Arrangements the next morning to the main Internet phone number. They discussed the situation with them and said the Schaumburg office manager would call me for my credit card number for a refund. We went round and round, and she had zero customer service skills. She refused a refund but finally agreed to deliver another one today. $130 arrangement to miss being delivered on her birthday , is nothing to sneeze at! I called at 8:00 am on a Friday morning to place my order. My arrangement was ready at 9:00am as requested for pick-up. It was beautiful! I delivered it myself. In the past, I had tried using their delivery service a couple of times only to find they were late in their delivery or it was delivered the following day. I would suggest ordering your arrangement a day or two before you need it delivered or pick it up and deliver it yourself. read more

On 6/12/13, I called several times with no machine, it just kept saying that someone would be with me shortly. So I leave work early and drive to the location, arrive around 6pm after braving this "severe" thunderstorm, and find that they closed one hour in advance of their own posted hours. They even put a post-it on their door, telling a specific customer (like his full name is on this post-it) to go to Dominos to pick up his order. I went to my store here in Schaumburg Illinois where a sweet young lady named Jennifer helped me pick out the perfect arrangement for my 21 year old. If I could give this a minus 1 review, I would. Chocolate covered strawberries with a balloon (not cut fruit, mind you) was ordered for my grandson's 21st b-day 5 days before it was to be delivered. At 5:00 on the B-day day, there was no delivery yet--called, spoke w/Lisa who said she was overwhelmed with 47 orders & because of the pandemic, she still had not delivered it, but that it was still scheduled for delivery. Another chance phone call was made at 8:00 (they close at 7:00). Karen answered (by chance) and said that we should have been called & no, the delivery was not done & had been canceled. NO phone calls were made to me all day to let me know there was a problem. Lisa's phone manners & business etiquette are simply lacking in all areas. Blaming her inability to get orders out on the pandemic when she should be grateful that her business has any any orders at all. She should have been up front about not being able to fulfill the order. read more

Stay away from this company at all costs. The delivery person from Edible Arrangments called me and said they were not getting an answer at the receipient's home so I asked if they could hold for a minute; she agreed and I called the receipient to ask them to answer the phone - she said she would. I kept checking the order status and received an email that it was delivered. I called the receipient only to find out the item was not delivered yet. When I called Edible Arrangements again they kept insisting the item was delivered over an hour ago. I called back to the receipient and the item was being delivered while we were on the phone. Since the item was delivered as I was speaking to the receipient; how could it have been delivered an hour prior?!?!? Buyer beware!! False delivery times will be reported!!!!! I don't even know at this point if the item I paid for is correct. I am sure one of their competitors will do a better job and I will defintely turn to them if I have to order something in the future. read more

Karen was the person who helped me and she worked very hard to get my order to the day that I needed it. She never got upset or negative about me changing my date multiple times. i hope this shady outfit goes out of business! my husband ordered an arrangement for me for valentine's day today. IT DIDN'T COME. nor did we receive ANY phone calls or emails about it! finally, after my husband complained on twitter, we got a call at 8 PM from the manager who said "they were just too busy and had too many orders to fulfill by 5 o'clock." ummm, ok, so then you CALL someone and let them know! my husband tried repeatedly to call THEM when it wasn't delivered and got an immediate busy message every time. after the "store manager" called and stated that they'd had soooo many more important orders than our $82 one! they just offered to refund his money. that's it. no offer to make things right. i am appalled that a company like this is allowed to do business - what they did is flat out wrong. thanks, edible arrangements, for ruining my valentine's day and not doing a darn thing to fix it. and you'd better believe that i will be posting about this on facebook IN ADDITION to telling EVERYONE in the office about what your store did!!!!! you are a sham, and you ruined a special day for a mom of 2 who was looking forward to some happiness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also, check their facebook pages - TONS of other unhappy customers who had the same thing happen to them! what a horrible company!!! read more
