SELECTION: As I walked around the shop I was mentally trying to make sense of the concept, as with each turn around a shelf there was a new collection of items on display. Among the collections I saw, there were a variety of seeds, dog collars, coffee mugs, tee shirts, fishing lures, and coffee. Southbury Country Florist absolutely made my Mom's best friend, Rita's, birthday so special…read more The floral arrangement the owner, Kim Bova, created was gorgeous - fresh, full hydrangeas with beautiful seasonal greens and accents, arranged perfectly in a clear vase. It brightened up Rita's whole room the moment it arrived. The coordinating "Happy Birthday" card was so sweet and thoughtful, and she hasn't stopped talking about how pretty everything is. I purchased the beautiful birthday card, and the square on the card has seeds to be planted, and you soak it in water overnight, and place in a planter, cover with 1/8 inch of dirt, and it grows more flowers! I thought this was extra special so Rita can keep flowers blooming after the floral arrangement is long gone. From ordering to delivery, everything was smooth and right on time. It's clear they put real care into their work and into making their customers (and recipients!) feel special. I highly recommend Southbury Country Florist and I will definitely order from them again.
