I could wait until we get our cake on the wedding day. But I felt the cake test day was plenty good enough to assess Edible Creations. We get married in a few months, and our cake provider scheduled a day for us to come in and pick our flavors. We pulled up to the multilevel business park looking for the place. It was a trick, as the location was on the backside of the building. We walked into a quiet room in the front of the shop. A fella came out shortly after and was ready to get things going. we took a seat and he brought out a sample of about 7 difference flavors of cakes. They had 3 samples that were more moist. I definitely preferred them. But they were all pretty good. Maybe I was hungry but we tore through the cakes. We both agreed the amaretto was the best. We got a 3 tier cake, so they let us pick 2 more flavors as well, 1 per tier. It was a fun and efficient time. The atrium was a bright fun room. There were examples of cakes everywhere that added to the fun vibes. It was a successful day, and we look forward to seeing the final cake the day of. read more

These people are more than accommodating! I bought a small last minute cake for a 25th wedding dinner, and when I got home I discovered the icing had started to melt (buttercream icing in the south Florida heat does not stand a chance). I called and came back into the store and they were able to help me by completely redecorating the cake in less than 20 minutes. The cake was the perfect size for a small celebration of 6 people, and we will surely have leftovers! Can't wait to try!!! Will post a picture of the cake later and a review on the taste! Update: the cake was absolutely delicious! At first I was stuck between the Vanilla Rum cake or the Amaretto, and I do not regret choosing the Amaretto. The only comment I have is that the icing is a little too sweet so I always ended up leaving some behind, but the cake itself was phenomenal especially for the price!!! And if you eat the cake with the icing it's obviously delicious, but I personally am not a huge icing eater so as mentioned before, I always left some behind. I ordered a cake through Grubhub for my friend that was in Florida for her birthday. Online they only offer a basic chocolate cake and you're able to purchase a topper for a fee. I called the morning of to make sure they had received my order. Whoever answered the phone was extremely nice and helpful. The customer service/communication is not the greatest. I tried since June to order 1-2 dozen sugar cookies after I tasted the cookie at a previous party. They were soft, moist and decorated beautifully. After voicing my concerns as a comment on their Instagram page, they finally said we can make them. Ive had a few worse cakes than this one, in fact, the cake was actually moist, and the frosting wasn't anything special and the decorations around it were plain. However, I gave this place the lowest rating because I think that any cake location should put great importance on the integrity of what they are serving and not try to misuse the frosting to hide carelessness. My sister and I decided to order a specialty cake for our brother's birthday. I told her to find a good place and she called this so called edible creations. She ordered it about a week in advance and I don't know for how many the cake served but it was about a 10-inch diameter and about 4-inch tall. The order was a RED VELVET cake with a raspberry cream cheese filling. The lady from there called my sister A DAY BEFORE she'd pick it up and told her they do couldn't cream cheese frosting. On a red velvet??! A red velvet must have cream cheese frosting. Still, she went to pick it up and when I saw it I thought the decorations were not even childish but just boring and not special. This is for my brother who turned 21. We all ate the cake together and my bro said it was moist but I looked for where on earth that cream cheese raspberry filling was! It was no where in sight until I tasted some in my slice, looked like red jelly, and after careful observation the filling was just verticle inserts few and randomly injected into the cake, and not a gorgeous layer of filling in between. We had the marbled cake with Bavarian cream in it. We tasted it and we asked if she was willing to make it less sweet, and she refused to change the recipe. I understand where she's coming from but that kinda turned me off a little bit. We didn't really put too much importance on the cake but it was beautifully done, complete with flower petals and delicately executed arrangements. We gave her the cake topper and the flowers. I finally had to call about a week later to see why I hadn't gotten a call back or e-mail yet and was unpleasantly greeted over the phone by Lilly - she began to ask me if I was "sure" I even made a request and was persistent nag I hadn't because she "answers everyone", and kept telling me that if she didn't have a photo, she could not quote me. Went to meet with "Lilly" for a 2:00pm wedding cake tasting. Showed up at 1:55pm and it was almost as if we were inconveniencing "Lilly", she had no idea who we were, when our wedding was or where we were having it, which was all discussed over the phone scheduling our appointment. When the cake testing pieces came out it was HORRIBLE. The cake was inconsistent across the board, some was so moist it was borderline a raw and some was dry as if it has been sitting out for days. The buttercream filling was displayed over the top of each piece as if a 1 year old child did it. "Lilly" proceeded to display the most terrible customer service at the end of our tasting by referring to the competition bakers and asking if we are going to go sample there cake. We cut the cake at our reception 2 weeks ago and both looked at each other, reading each other's minds, this is the wrong flavor cake. I had my baby shower two weeks ago I ordered a cake, cake pops, mini cupcakes, and brownies the delivery to my venue was a little over 30 mins late which put me behind of getting ready and decorating so I was pissed off about that than I had my guess complain about the cupcakes being dry and believe me they were you could pick it up and feel that it was hard. Than the cake pops didn't even taste like cake pops at all I'm not even a baker and I make better cake pops than them. They just tasted like regular cake rolled up in a ball no moistness at all. The brownies were okay the only thing that was decent was the cake. I'll give them credit because they were all so pretty but to eat it was horrible I spent all this money for amazing desserts and they were shitty.
