My first time visiting Big Spoon Bakery with my fiancee who wanted to try their coffee and pastries. The first thought that came to my mind was that they might have been understaffed. There was only one lady who tried to take order, make the order, and package the order for each and every customers. There was only one lady in front of us and we waited five minutes before being able to place our orders. The lady also forgot our cinnamon roll so I had to drive back to come pick it up. The pastries tasted good. The coffees were okay. I would recommend this place to others because it's new. I am not excited to come back in the future but if someone wants me to drive them here I won't mind coming back. The bakery is located in a plaza that offers plenty of free parking spaces. So happy I came across this bakery! It's right in the plaza where I work. It space is small but decorated beautifully. Nice big menu of the drinks and food to order. I ordered a pistachio white chocolate latte and it was awesome. Tastes really good and I love the pieces of the pistachios. Great flavor! The ham and swiss pastry were also really good! Everything they make is amazing and made from scratch! I love that everything I've tried is not overly sweet and my favorite so far is the oatmeal marshmallow sandwich cookie!! The marshmallow filling is so good if they decided to sell it I would buy it!! I was in Florida for a short visit and I had been wanting to stop here for awhile. It's a cute little spot right on the border of Hollywood/Cooper City. I am a sucker for good cookies so I got chocolate chip and the oatmeal sandwich cookies and I couldn't resist the Cinnamon Toast Crunch tres leches. Everything was delicious!! The tres leches was creamy with some cereal and white chocolate crunch pearls on top. Highly recommend trying it. Both cookies were excellent as well, the marshmallow filling for the oatmeal cookies was sooooo good. Service was excellent and I truly loved everything about this bakery. Okay, this place is a DO NOT MISS! It is soooooo good. Their biscoff tres leches was out of this world good. My daughter loved the pretzel dog. They have coffees and treats. It is a quaint little spot with lots of pink accents. Even the straw for the coffee was heart shaped which I loved! Very inviting custom bakery in a new plaza in east Cooper City. Small showroom with a view of the back kitchen with a pink giant dough mixer. Met with the friendly co-owner, Victoria, who provided me with info on their pastry display and a 10% off catering coupon. The oversized cookies and cupcakes were around $4.25 each and would drop in price for larger catering amounts. On display, I was staring at two massive pieces of Cake, Pecan Chip Donut Pudding and Ceral Milk Cheesecake (with Fruity Pebbles sprinkled on top). A visual sugar overdose was setting in quickly. You can also just walk in and order several types of coffees for under five dollars. Will use this place for my next party.
