He upgraded my refurbished HP Elite to Windows 11 even though Microsoft did not support the upgrade. Within only six months -- and after an earlier crash I barely managed to recover from -- the system became unstable and eventually had to be repaired by a different technician. I am 88 and on oxygen, and I rely on my computer every day. I wish I had been warned that forcing Windows 11 onto older, unsupported hardware can lead to serious instability in a short period of time. Edgar clearly knows his craft, but customers -- especially seniors or those on fixed incomes -- should ask whether an upgrade is truly safe and appropriate for their specific machine.

We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. It was a little pricey ($55) for a 9 year old used charger but we were glad he had it and paid the price. The perk was playing with his massive cat that seemed to weigh 25 lbs.
