    Ham omelette

Today I went with a friend to have breakfast for our first time. I have heard excellent stories from friends about the delicious food. They are open for breakfast and lunch closing at 2. Their menu has a great selection of breakfast and lunch options. I ended ordering Huevos Rancheros. As a side you can have Mexican style beans or home potatoes. The server suggests that I could have half and half so I did. My friend ordered a ham omelette and a pancake on the side. To drink we both had coffee. When the server took our order, I asked her for water. She brought us the coffee and I asked for the water tagain. Finally the food was brought to out table but no water. As I was eating the Huevos Rancheros they were bit spicy and I began to caught. I got up and went to the server station and I asked for a glass of water. The food was excellent but the server was not at par with the establishment. The server Amber wasn't pleasant friendly and me having to get up to get my water was bad service.

We stopped in for lunch at The Shed in Las Cruces, and y'all... I'm still dreaming about those calabasitas enchiladas. Tender brisket over blue corn tortillas, smothered in rich green chile and paired with the sweetness of summer squash and corn--it was like the whole Southwest got together to sing me a love song on a plate. The flavors were deep and soulful, the kind that make you sit back in your chair and close your eyes for a minute. You can tell this kitchen cooks with heart. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service friendly without being fussy, and the portions just right--generous without tipping over into "I need a nap" territory. If you're anywhere near Las Cruces and craving something special, get yourself to The Shed. And if the calabacitas enchiladas are on the menu, don't think--just order them.

We were visiting Las Cruces when I found this place online. We didn't know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and delicious. I had eggs benedict with turkey sausage smothered in hatch green chili hollandaise sauce. OMG, so good! My hubby had chicken enchiladas made with hatch green chile sauce and topped with an egg. He raved about it. Also, the service is great! So if you're ever in Las Cruces, New Mexico you must go to The Shed.

Grabbed breakfast here on our way out of NM before heading home to AZ.. Coffee was delicious, as well as our breakfast! I opted for their chorizo breakfast with beans and potatoes and my hubby got a breakfast burrito. Everything was delivered fresh and hot. Waitress was friendly and attentive. It's a cute restaurant with tons od character and color! There's also plenty of seating inside & out. The entire time there, they were bustling! The waitstaff waa moving and keeping busy! Definitely a solid place! I'll be happy to return and try other items.

It gets busy here, so bring your patience. There is room for waiting, so just hang out. Service was little slow as expected due to their popularity. We had their Migas breakfast, which was huge and tasty. Their old classic breakfast is perfect if you are not in the mood for anything fancy. Their pancakes were humongous! It was on the thicker side so little on the doughy side, but still yummy. Someone recommended their quiche, so will return to try it next time. The Shed was our favorite breakfast place in the area. Highly recommend!!

Great breakfast and lunch spot! The pecan cinnamon coffee was Felipe's as was the huevos rancheros. You can order the sauce mild or hot. They have homemade bread which was delicious too. My partner ordered New Mexico pasta which was tasty too (even at 9 am lol ). Great place to add to your travels!

    Breakfast Enchiladas

Delicious! Got the breakfast enchiladas with both red and green sauce. So good, would come again!

This place is amazing and so cute inside. Service was great, the drinks were great, the food was heaven. Probably one of the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. The hollandaise was so good. The English muffin was a perfect size and nice and toasty. My friend ordered the Cranberry Walnut toast and that is sooo good and made in house. We definitely wanted to buy a loaf but it was sold out but understand why! Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!

Looked around Las Cruces for a good brunch spot and The Shed delivered! Unsurprisingly it came well recommended and the busyness reflected that. Very fun menu incorporating Mexican flavors/food in your classic American breakfast. Service was exceptionally friendly. I went for the Bacon Eggs Benedict with Green Chile Hollandaise. Might sounds weird but it works. Also had to sub toast for beans because beans with breakfast is great.

Southern New Mexican Style Enchiladas and Green Chile Alfredo over Fettuccini!! DELISH!!!

Wonderful service and food here!! Our server answered so many of my questions about what he recommended on the menu!! I wish I was in New Mexico more so I could have it again!! The vibe is very cute and gives old mexican restaurant with a fun new twist! The pancake was unlike anything I'd eaten before. It was almost like a pastry. Crunchy on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth moist on the inside. The pasta is two words: SLEPT ON!!! If you have never had green chile in your fettuccini, you have not lived ahah!

Food was good but service severely lacking. No silverware until after our food arrived. Sat without coffee for too long and when refilled it was cold. Ordered an extra soup after our food came and that item never got out to me so I had to cancel as we were done eating and pretty sure server just forgot. No pre-bussing so we sat with dirty dishes till the end. Was excited to try but definitely a let down in service.

The food was amazing. The staff was even better. (Not to eat, duh!) Found this place on a drive between Houston and Phoenix. The hatch chilli egg Benedict dish made me want to move to Las Cruces. Don't pass this up. Get off the freeway and enjoy breakfast or lunch. Patricia was a great hostess.

He has beaten stage four cancer three separate times. Needless to say, his career military background and having just retired in October 2025 served him well. He has faced every diagnosis head-on like the true American soldier he is. During one of our quiet conversations, he shared something that clearly weighed on him. He was heartbroken that he never got the chance to take his wife out for their 55th wedding anniversary in December because he was in the hospital. The next day, I asked him a simple question. If you could pick one restaurant within a 100-mile radius, just one, where would you want to go once you had your strength back? Without hesitation, he said La Posta. Over the next few weeks, a lot changed. He was released from the hospital. He slowly began to regain his strength. First the cane went away, then short walks turned into longer ones, and eventually he was even driving himself from LC to EPT for doctor's appointments. When I finally asked if he felt strong enough to go to that meal we had talked about, he lit up. He started telling me stories. How his father used to bring him to La Posta. How it had remained top notch throughout the years. He went into detail about every menu item he loved. But the one thing he really wanted me to understand was the ambiance. You will get it when you are there, he told me. I called to see if they took reservations. We were not even sure they did. A young woman named Priscilla answered the phone. I explained the situation. My uncle was finally strong enough to return to his favorite restaurant, one that held a lifetime of memories, and he had missed celebrating his 55th wedding anniversary. I told her I wanted to surprise them and make the night unforgettable. I even mentioned I was planning to have flowers delivered. Priscilla did not hesitate. She immediately connected me with her manager, Teresa. I asked if we could have a larger table than one meant for three people because my uncle wanted to order everything. Honestly, I just wanted him to eat, to enjoy himself, to feel normal again. Teresa agreed without question. Then something unexpected happened. Teresa explained that Priscilla was a single mom of two who had recently started a floral business on the side and truly wanted to help make this night special. She asked if it would be okay to involve her. Of course, I said yes. I was transferred back to Priscilla and told her to go big. No expense spared. I gave her full creative freedom and an unlimited budget. Unbeknownst to me, Priscilla partnered with a friend who specialized in balloon arrangements. What she created was nothing short of breathtaking. Place cards. Multiple floral centerpieces. An ornate floral display. A large professional sign welcoming my aunt and uncle to the restaurant. She handled everything with grace, professionalism, and kindness, even as our party grew from three people to thirteen. And then the story took a turn. The day before the dinner, my uncle was rushed into emergency surgery. Suddenly, everything was uncertain. Half the family canceled to stay at the hospital. We kept Priscilla updated as events unfolded. Not once did she complain. Not once did she lose her composure. She adapted to every change with pure professionalism and empathy. She even adjusted the floral arrangements when we decided to bring flowers and food to the hospital instead. That is when I learned that the owners of La Posta had been informed of the situation. The male manager on duty, and I regret not remembering his name, passed along a message from them expressing their deepest condolences and gratitude. He also shared that they wished they could have been there to meet my uncle. There really are still good people in this world. After her shift ended at 4 p.m., Priscilla went to pick up her kids and then came back to the restaurant just to meet me. She walked me through everything she had created and explained the work behind it. When I asked how much I owed her, she paused and said she wanted to bless my family and could not accept payment. I was overwhelmed. Her work would have easily cost four to five hundred dollars. I insisted on tipping her at the very least, and she reluctantly agreed. The food that night was incredible. We had a wonderful server, and the food was amazing. We ordered extra meals to go so my cousins could bring my uncle his favorite dishes back to the hospital. It was a small way to lift his spirits during one of the darkest moments our family has faced. My uncle asked me to thank you for the food. And I want to thank everyone at La Posta for the hospitality, the compassion, and the humanity. When my uncle regains his strength and comes home again, we will return with his wife so he can finally give her the 55th wedding anniversary dinner they both deserve.
