They have a good selection of dresses, but when it comes to customer service I was very disappointed. I felt pressured when I was there trying on wedding dresses like I had to make a decision right on the spot. The saleswoman wasn't very nice and stated that if I did not put a down payment down that it might be discontinued when I come back. I have gone to many other bridal shops and this isn't true, they maybe discontinue dresses once to twice a year. I felt overwhelmed and left more confused than when I got there. I had a fantastic experience today at Edith's! Stephanie was able to help me find a bridesmaid dress for upcoming weddings I am in. She was so incredibly helpful! I was helped right away, and was asked what color, style, and price range I had, which was awesome to make sure I didn't find a dress I couldn't afford. She also was honest with me and gave me great feedback on the dresses I tried on. I felt very comfortable with her and she was great to talk with- no awkward conversation because she made me feel right at home. I absolutely recommend Edith's and will be back! read more

Our experience as a bridal party and bride looking for wedding and bridesmaids dresses was not ideal. The customer service was not good at all, and made us feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed. Our salesperson was rude not only to us but also to the bride. We had to find all the dresses ourselves and then felt immense pressure to make a decision on the spot. When we found a dress that was a possibility they would not share the designer or style number with us and said it was "against their policy." We will not be returning or purchasing anything from Edith's. read more

Flew in from Portland, Or to help my little sister pick out the wedding dress of her dreams!!!! She ended up buying the first dress she tried on! We also ended up getting out brides maid dresses (also the first one we picked out)! We all had so much fun, and felt so catered to! Bonus! Excellent service! Hannah was amazingly helpful. She was genuinely excited about our event and found the perfect accessories for the outfit.

My dad recommend this place for the guys to get the tux for my sisters wedding. Went to pick up tux Friday day before wedding and my dads jacket didn't fit but ordered a different jacket and reassured us it would arrive in time by 11. Well day of wedding 11 no jacket.. first look at bride was at 1:15 no jacket. Ceremony most important moment for the father of the bride no jacket! He had to manage in the small uncomfortable jacket!!! Finally 3:00 we got the jacket!!! On top of this the sole of the shoe detached(seems to be common as the lady knew what happend second we mentioned the shoes sucked!) And my dad has to keep jacket on the whole day as his vest was poorly made..strings hanging out everywhere..stitching looked awful! When we went to return all the suits rented the customer services was poor. The lady didn't care no apology..only got $30 refund for the shoes!!! Nothing for jacket or vest! Not to mention all the extra stress and anxiety this caused on what is suppose to be such a happy beautiful day! read more

Rented a tux. Sign said $99 tuxes, the one they offered us was $160! They didn't have any $99 ones. Paid in full to be kind. 2 days later we had an incident come up where we could not use the tux. Called and asked for a refund, the girl said no, not our problem. My husband called back and spoke with the owner who was down right rude! Told my husband he had a bad week and it wasn't his problem that we couldn't use the tux. That he could keep the money. My husband said keep the $50 you asked for a down payment and refund the other $110, the owner said no, he didn't have to! Unreal. We called Men's Warehouse in Appleton to question their policy and explained the situation; they take a $20 restocking fee and will refund the rest! What a bunch of bull at Edith's! DO NOT GO THERE! read more

Incredible service! I came in to browse for wedding dresses and ended up saying yes to the dress! Edith's has a great selection of dresses. It was really easy to browse all the dresses. I really enjoyed how they let me choose my first five dresses to try on in order for them to better understand my style. I ended up choosing the second one I marked initially but tried many on! Compared to other stores I have been to I didn't feel pushed or rushed. The store owner gave me great advice! I seamstress seems very knowledgeable. The saleswomen (Stephanie I believe) I worked with was incredible! They all took extra time to make me feel confident in my decision. I look forward to continue to working with everyone at Edith! Called this morning and had a very excellent and friendly lady answer. I was calling to pick up a brides maid dress and was told i had to call before picking up. In the middle of the 4 minute call the lady asked for the brides name to finish up the information for pick up and we were disconnected. I tried calling back for an hour and a half with no luck. I figured I would have received a call from them confirming my time and finish getting the brides name. No call. When I finally got through the lady was extremely rude. I just wanted to verify I actually had a scheduled time and she kept interrupting me. She didn't address the drop call or the lack of being able to reach them. I asked if they had phone problems and she cut me off again. I get they might be busy but it was 11:50 am when I called. Pretty sure she didn't have a whole bridal party to attend to and if she did then don't be rude to me. I had a dropped call with no return call even though they had my phone number. I assumed they would have called back once there phones were working to confirm everything. A good business would do that. This was just very rude and for a business it was unprofessional. I will definitely refer people else where. read more

Wheelchair accessible? Yeah, if you don't plan on going to the second story where bridal dresses are! I went for my first fitting for my bridal dress and told the woman at alterations I was there for my appointment, she looked to an older woman and told her I was here and the older woman said, "what do you want me to do about it?" Also, it has taken 5 months for my bridesmaid dresses to come in! That's ridiculous. The only time the staff is nice is on a Saturday when who I assume is the male owner, is walking around. I would suggest going anywhere else. read more

Worst bridal dress shopping experience of my life. I drove over an hour to try on a dress that I fell in love with online and this was the only bridal store that had it from Wisconsin to Michigan. First complaint: Friends/family cannot take pictures unless you put down a $200 deposit, basically locking in that you will be buying your dress through them. RIGHT THERE, I knew I would NOT buy my dress here. I don't care how much I loved a dress, I would find it elsewhere to purchase and give my business to. Second complaint: I went to this store in the middle of summer, one of the hottest days and the air conditioning was not on. A measly little fan was on and I'm sorry, but trying on bridal gowns in a hot, sticky building is NOT fun! Third complaint: The lady I worked with would not allow my friends to help pick out dresses for me. This makes absolutely no sense because they know my style and what I was looking for and the lady had no idea and kept bringing me dresses that were completely the opposite of what I liked. Fourth complaint: the lady working with me should not be working there. I don't remember her name, but she had a bad attitude and gave me the impression that she did not want to be there. Fifth complaint: You need better clips to hold the dresses up. I have been to numerous bridal stores and they have excellent, sturdy clips that can make a size 10 on a size 2 person look wonderful, and you were trying to clip a dress with chip clips. (Cheap clicks that did not do a thing but fall off) My mom and friends had to hold the dress for me so I could get a feel for how it would look on me. I could go on, but I'll stop here. Moral of the story: I tried on the dress I fell in love with online at this store. I left, went to a bridal store with excellent customer service with girls make dress shopping fun, allowed pictures to be taken for free, air conditioned their building, encouraged my friends to be apart of the process, and used sturdy clips....AND... I ordered my dress through them! I will NEVER step foot back in this store and I will steer others away! read more

I had purchased a beautiful wedding gown back in feb and i was assured the size that was ordered was going to be my size or very close to. the lady who took my sizes -twice- said that they have never hasda a bride complain and to b honest, i find that very hard to believe. not only did i come in, in either june or july to get my dress and it didnt fit the lady did not seem to care on bit that i was close to tears. i find it very difficult to believe that an experienced consultant would not have mentioned a nearly 8 inch gap in my zip up dress - unacceptable. but rather i must have gained 30-50 lbs - insulting. it has taken me nearly three months to come to terms w the fact that the dress i love cannot and will never fit. i praised ediths to everyone, and now i will never ever recommend it to anyone. unfortunately, cuz of this disaster of an 840$ gown i am forced to take my 12 girls to Davids bridal where the customer service is ecellent and they back their product 100% of the time. i refuse to pay your facility for outrageous alterations that should be free to me or highly discounted due to the circumstances. designers have diff sizes and perhaps before ordering a gown you should have matched my 14 w their chart. a good bus. would refund money or offer discounts and since neither has happened i am forced to throw 840$ out the door and buy a whole new gown from davids bridal be well warned your store has ruined one of my biggest investments and i will make it a point to send people elsewhere.. read more

Physically, the store is in a very old building lending to a strong damp smell. However, once you get over that minor unpleasantness, the selection of dresses is phenomenal. I called the store looking for a specific dress after calling all of the authorized dealers for the designer. Edith's was the only store not only have the dress, but took the time to call me back giving me more details about it. The consultant I who assisted me, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful and was more concerned with making me feel confident and comfortable than guaranteeing a sale. Their head seamstress, Carol Ann, helped me order the correct size and made excellent suggestions about the alteration process to help create a dress I would want to spend a wedding day in. Even the other sales consultants working in other departments were incredibly pleasant. They have been in business for over 70 years and it is this type of service which explains their success. read more

I went shopping here for my bridal gown over a year ago, and the terrible service still irritates me. I had a scheduled appointment for the day and time I arrived, but they seemed very poorly prepared to help me. A crabby old woman who appeared to be on the brink of death was supposed to be helping me. She delegated to every other employee in the store to help me try on gowns, by the time I had left, every employee in the store had seen me half naked. Not the most comfortable of situations. She was incredibly rude and snapped at my sister when we were discussing another dress that I loved at another store. When telling her about the other dress I loved, she seemed incredibly irritated and did not offer to find a similar dress in their store. Needless to say, I bought my dress elsewhere. Besides the terrible service, the store was quite run down and gross. If they plan on staying in business, I suggest they re staff and renovate. read more
