I was having treatments for a back issue ( Disc pain ) and the girl doing those treatments kept…read moretelling me about 2 spots on my back that concerned her. Eventually I got a referral to Rao Clinic ( took a few months ) He phones me and asks for pictures of my spots! I was confused that a specialist only wanted a photo of them but I took them and sent them to him and waited! He emails me back saying those spots are nothing to worry about! Seborrheic keratosis he said! perfectly normal.....So I let it go at that! I see the girl again for more treatments and she asks if i got these spots looked at and I told her. She said NO! that is not S.K I see that daily she says. She pressures me to get another opinion! So I contact Rao himself and say I think he is wrong and there is more to it. He said NO its SK. I asked why it gets sore and big then goes away to nothing I get no reply. So I drove to his clinic to see him, over 1000kms return for me.. He does not come out to see me but sends the intern. The intern bopsy both spots and both are cancer.... So now Rao is wrong and I have to have surgery. I go there for that procedure. I see no doctor but the intern again! Here is where it gets WORSE!! He cuts me open. The girl helping him is short. She has her gloves on and moves a foot stool close to bed so she can reach with her gloves on! Then blood flying! He cuts out the spots and starts sewing me up. The stitches are on the tray with all the bloody cotton swabs. He sews them into me and his scissors did not work! So the girl gets off her stool and walks out into the clinic are gets scissors from somewhere and she walked through the hallway. Then as the intern is sewing up the two of them are making jokes about how Rao gets mad if they take 10 stitches out of the box and only use 8. I look at the tray and there are leftover there. What did they do with them? garbage or for next person with my bloody rags after passing over and or on them? Were they from someone else's tray before me? I never once saw Rao in person. He just wants to click emails and do 10 second phone calls to bill us fortunes for his expertise? LAUGHABLE! I would not send a dying dog there. If I could give a -10 I would. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! avoid this clinic at all costs. OH!!!! I had to have one spot done a second time because they never got all the cancer. I seen a surgeon at the local hospital months later and he seen my back and asked what happened to me! I said surgery for cancer spots. He says " My god they butchered you! He was not pleased and asked who did it I told him and he went to his computer instantly and wrote down something. This surgeons scar is barely noticeable!!! the skin interns scars? they look like I was stabbed by a machette. Big, ugly, red, and no where close to clean lines. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Plus I asked for a letter to take some time from work as I work in a very dirty contaminated environment with open surgery wounds and the guy ignored me and I had to fight to even get a letter which i never got from them but from another Doctor...

When it became obvious that she had nothing to offer, I asked if I should drink more water. Her reply was yes just drink more water. The way she said it did not leave me with the confidence that she was sure. I had never been to a Naturopath before but figured it would be worth trying. When Dr V looked at my blood work, she indicated that she understood why my doctor was concerned and indicated that my kidneys were dying. I asked if it was reversable to which she said of course. She set me up on a supplement and said it would take about 10 to 12 months to get my kidneys back to health. A year later my blood work showed that my kidneys were just about back to normal. Since that time each time I have my annual physical I take the bloodwork to Dr V for review and she has guided me through it with the answers I need to address the issues that show up in the blood. I am 68 years old and thanks to Dr V I am not on any of the medications my family doc has tried to get me on over the years. Each time a medication is suggested, I talk to Dr V and she has had the answer either through a supplement or a dietary change that corrects the issue. Most recently I asked her what is the next step in me being proactive in keeping my health instead of waiting for an issue to occur. I just completed a routine to reduce the plaque in my system. I absolutely feel the improvement in a number of the areas this process has said it will including reduced brain fog, more energy and so much more. Dr. Wash is an amazing doctor. He always remembers our conversations, he asks me about school and, of course, he is brilliant when it comes to medical problems. I found it hard in the past to find a doctor that I can trust completely and that I feel comfortable around, but then I found Dr. Wash and I'm still happy as can be with him. I can't stress enough what a great clinic this is. If I need to get in to see a doctor and Dr. Wash isn't available or a couple days, they let me see someone else (if I'm comfortable with it). I've seen Dr. Haubrich here as well and he is also a great doctor. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a great family doctor that they can count on.

After that I received 5 emails from Red Leaf Wellness. The first one was to confirm my appointment and I think that's fair and completely standard for business. The second was an email about the scheduling, the third was to confirm the confirmation I had made by a) making the appointment and b) by confirming the first email, the fourth email was a reminder emailing about my appointment, the fifth email was to get me to sign up for their patient records and fill out the intake forms. If your still with me after all that confusion with emails and annoyance of all the emails there is more! This is all one day after making my online booking for a week and half from now. Then after the emails I received a phone call from the office to tell me about the emails and that I haven't completed them. A few minutes later I received a text message about my appointment. I did not agree to text messages or emails but clearly that doesn't matter. I was also told I would need to provide a credit card so that if there was a last minute cancellation or a no show they would charge me. I understand this is for the protection of your business, but I haven't even walked in the door and you want my credit card. I'm trusting complete strangers based on their website with my well being, but after 5 harassing emails and a phone call to inform me I haven't completed your forms, I'm then told you require a credit card?? I'm supposed to trust you with my personal information, but you can't trust me for my first appointment? I canceled my appointment, and when asked if I want to rebook I said no. I was speaking with one of the two practitioners who runs this business. I would think when I said no there would have been more of a conversation about why I was cancelling. Oh well. To his credit, the owner was friendly and appeared knowledgeable while doing his assessment on me. However, the service all fell apart when he then delegated the work to his assistants-a collection of apathetic, 20 something undergrads who cared less about care than rushing though a demonstration exercise so that they can get back to their social media. The 'sweatshop' atmosphere of the therapist working with 15-20 patients simultaneously, didn't exactly put me at ease of getting hands on quality care. I also understood that the most important part of recovery was to do the recommended exercises prescribed by the care-provider independently. However, the generic exercises he gave me to do at home appeared to aggravate my injuries further. When I attempted to contact the therapist by phone to ask for guidance, I was told he would get back to me ASAP. He called 2 weeks after my initial call. By then, I was already involved with MOMENTUM Physiotherapy recovering nicely(See my review). To sum up, my experience was awful in that instead of receiving care for my injury, I was being processed like a piece of meat going through an assembly line, where squeezing as many people into a workspace supersedes actual care.

Easy parking and nice clean surroundings. I filled out a form about medical conditions and concerns and Lewis herself got to work. She gave a great massage concentrating on the areas of concern I had indicated, yet not ignoring other areas. She was very attentive to pressure and asked frequently if it was ok. She was fully engaged on me for the 60 minutes and provided warm, moist towels at the end to remove any residual oil. Lewis was a nice person and made me feel welcome. All in all I will go back.
