The attitude of the two ladies are very arrogent and not at all customer focused; very dry demeanor and personalities too. I bought a few plants to add to my garden and went back a few times in one day. I even brought a plant back that they said not to throw out and bring to them to revive so I donated it to them. The 3rd time I went back to their nursery in a day, I searched for flowers to enhance my garden and chose a certain one by their recommendation. I explained that the color may not work but said I'll try it and exchange if it didn't work. I went back today to make an exchange because the color didn't work and the same person I dealt with said they don't do exchanges or refunds and said it in a very snobby rude way. I reminded her of our conversation and she claimed to not remember it. I asked where their written refund policy was posted and she said they don't have it posted. I will NEVER bring my business to them EVER again

Planting in the fall is the right time, so you want to shop now - they are open through the end of October. We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.
