We worked with Ron for the sale of our boat. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.. did a great job. We were given a delivery date and when that date came it turned out they were missing a part to install the engine. took 2 weeks to get. We were told it gets water tested before delivery... you would think they would check everything. we were excited to get it in the water and found the depth finder didnt work.. went in and they said they would schedule someine to look at it.. waited another 2 weeks because the one guy had deliveries to make and he wouldnt be in my area.. when he finally came to look, he was friendly but low and behold we have to order another part. currently waiting on a transducer and if that isnt the problem they will have to order another depth finder. who knows how long that will take! I would think when you are spending 70 grand on a new boat it ahould be usable. Verry irritating process and the lady at the counter could be a little nicer/ understanding. we all know wisconsin boating season is short. id like to use my boat this season and i only have weekends to do so. oh.. and who closes on a monday?? super irritating. read more

i was generous and gave them 1 star, ,I bought a brand new Lund Preditor boat'' special order' , everyone was very nice and friendly through the process of buy the boat , no updates as to weather the boat was on delivery schedule unless i called and once the boat came in and i picked it up , it was like a 180 degree turn , no returned calls when i had trouble , no follow up calls on how it ran , this place is a joke as far as post follow up . Bought my boat here in 2019. Put 7 starters on the boat and now a flywheel. Drove 9 hours to get the boat. My local dealer has the motor pulled to replace the starter and the flywheel and guess what they found, the motor had froze at some point and the block is cracked. Looking at about 15,000 to repair. I never had a good feeling from the minute we got there to pick up the boat, no stainless prop on the boat when we got there and that was part of the deal, boat overheated while we were driving it, should have bailed at that point but the guy who was supposedly the GM told me not to worry, well I got screwed royally and now I get to buy a new motor. I have been in the Auto industry for 25 years and it is shit like this that ruins things for all the other dealers. Maybe buy a new boat from these guys but never a used one. I would give it zero stars, if possible. I bought a Lund from them a few years ago. They were supposed to install two Humminbird locators with networking capabilities. The unit at the helm worked perfectly. But the one at the bow never worked right. Had all sorts of interference issues and the switch that they installed did not do what they told me that it would. I brought it back to them. They said that it should be working and that there is nothing that can be done. I asked if there were any settings that I could change or anything. They said that it works and that they can't see how it would not work. I eventually took a look at it myself and figured out the issues. Thanks Ed's! I also found out that they sold me a 5 port Ethernet switch when I needed only 3 ports (which I had explained to them). They also installed a 20 foot Ethernet cable when they only needed 2 feet at most (they do sell shorter cables). So, they charged me for a lot more than I needed. They also installed a transducer switch to have the front unit read off of the back transducer (since they had the front unit rigged to the universal sonar on the terrova). That was completely unnecessary as I found out later. The two units were networked! I did not need the second transducer installed even (or the switch that they charged me a ton of money to buy and install). Then they told me that I only needed one map chip since the two units were networked and that the front locator could read the map from the back unit. That was a lie. Also, first day out, I had to install updates to get things working. They should have done that. I mean, what the heck am I paying them for?!?! They literally could not have tested anything out before passing it off to me. I was even more ticked off recently when I actually found out about all of the extra stuff that they installed that I did not need - I figured it out when I rigged new electronics on my boat. It took me a while, but I can honestly say that I did an infinitely better job than Ed's did installing my electronics. I did like the sales staff. I just really think that they did a crappy rigging job on the electronics. If you buy a boat there, either have someone else rig the boat electronics or keep it simple so that it does not get messed up. Lastly, I had an issue with my trailer lights. I went to Ed's right away and they said that it was my truck rigging that was causing the issues. So I went to the auto shop that did my truck trailer light rigging and they said that it was my boat. I took it to another place to have them look at it (since both guys blamed each other). They fixed it - it was the trailer. I'm not blaming Ed's for the trailer problem. But I do fault them for not being able to diagnose it. Buyer beware!!! read more

I would not recommend Ed,s for service on any boat you did not purchase New from them.d I worked with them for over a year to try and get parts and service before they told me I should go to the original dealership where I bought the boat. read more

Buyer Beware! We have purchased 2 boats from Ed's. The first one we found out after the fact that it had a cracked block that was not disclosed to us. The second boat has had issues from day one that they should have seen during compression tests and they refuse to give us a record of those tests. They do not stand behind their boats.
