Troy was very good at taking the time to explain proper techniques and answering our questions. Even more impressive was his energy and effort in constantly searching the lake for a better location and better bite. Under some adverse conditions on Day 2, he even had us out on 3 different lakes looking for fish which were being very tight-lipped that day. He uses only top-notch equipment and the latest in ice fishing technology. His fee is reasonable and even includes a fresh cooked hot lunch on the ice (for full day trips) which we really enjoyed.

We were given a delivery date and when that date came it turned out they were missing a part to install the engine. took 2 weeks to get. We were told it gets water tested before delivery... you would think they would check everything. we were excited to get it in the water and found the depth finder didnt work.. went in and they said they would schedule someine to look at it.. waited another 2 weeks because the one guy had deliveries to make and he wouldnt be in my area.. when he finally came to look, he was friendly but low and behold we have to order another part. currently waiting on a transducer and if that isnt the problem they will have to order another depth finder. who knows how long that will take! I would think when you are spending 70 grand on a new boat it ahould be usable. Verry irritating process and the lady at the counter could be a little nicer/ understanding. we all know wisconsin boating season is short. id like to use my boat this season and i only have weekends to do so. oh.. and who closes on a monday?? super irritating.

We wondered what the AYC was all about so we placed a call and to our amazement anyone can go to dinner (if on a boat), we found a slip and we slid in with ease. The staff was accommodating, the portions generous. I ate the fried haddock - served piping hot with Cole slaw that was not to sweet and not dripping in mayo :). My hubby had a senior platter with broiled haddock / drawn butter. Our daughter enjoyed a very large chicken salad. She loved it. We will definitely come back! Thank you!
