Having the word "economy" in their name made me a bit hesitant to reach out but their quality of work was premium. I had a full roof replaced on a my 3,400 SQ ft house. It was around 25 years old and it was leaking in multiple places. I had a quote within 2 days. Was on the schedule within 5 weeks. And the work was completed in a day. Full removal of the old roof, repairs to the leaking parts of the house, and the new roof installed. I couldn't get a solid count but it seemed like 15 workers. 12 on the roof and 3 folks managing the everything not on the roof. Started at 8am and done by 6pm. It was a thing of beauty. No leftover messes anywhere. The valley's were braided together in a way to prevent water from gathering. Much better than the way they were initially laid. I'd have no qualms about recommending Ed's to anyone looking for roofing work! read more

I see that one of the owners replied "you must have the wrong company, we never require homeowners to be present when requesting a quote." It's unprofessional to argue with a customer. There's only one Ed's Economy Roofing in the Vancouver, Washington area. And what I reported in my one-star review REALLY DID HAPPEN exactly as I wrote it. Eds Economy Roofing re-roofed our home several years ago. We are not trained as roofers so we depended on Eds Economy Roofing to re-roof our home properly, according to industry standards. That was our mistake. They were nice and finished the job quickly as you may read in other reviews. However, they did not vent the roof to allow condensation to exit as specified by the building code. They also did not install edge flashing which keeps water from creeping up under the roofing material. As a result of not being vented, and of not having edge flashing, the roof failed. Not only did the shingles fail, but the sheeting rotted, the insulation was ruined, and the rafters were rotten. We hired a general contractor to repair the damage and re-roof the house at a cost of over $80,000. This review could go on for pages, but I won't bore you with all of the details. After going through the expense and stress of having our roof rebuilt, I cannot recommend that you use Eds Roofing for your roofing needs. read more

This roofing company is awesome! They are prompt and caring. I had my roof done by them in December of 2014. This morning I noticed a leak in my skylight. I called them and a couple hours later they were here checking it out for me. The technician found pine needles and moss build up at the seams, which may have been the problem. It was cleaned up and sealed better in the area that seemed to have leaked. I was not charged for this. It was not an issue with this company from the job they had performed in 2014. The issue was mine for not having cleaned around the skylight, it had not dawned on me for some reason to do that. Anyways... thank you so much to Ed's economy roofing for their prompt honest courteous service. If you are in need of a roofer, I would use this company. This company did a tear off and re-roof on our house. Also, I have an overhang that needed to be supported. They came out and explained everything they would do and gave an estimate before I made a decision. There was only one problem, there was a mix up on the color. Luckily, we caught it before too much roofing material was attached. The owner took great care and fixed the problem right away. The workers were very courteous and took care not to damage plants against the house. They did a real good job on cleanup. I appreciated the fact that the owner scheduled a time to come by after the job, to inspect the work and ask if we had any concerns. I have recommended them to my neighbors. They are also registered with the Better Business Bureau and have an A+ rating. read more

I had a water leak coming into my garage. I had no idea where it was coming from. I went up on the roof myself to see if I noticed any damage that stood out. I couldn't find anything. My house was built in 2005 so the roof was still in good shape. I purchased my house two years ago and was surprised when I started to notice a water leak in my garage any time it would rain really hard and be windy. It only happened once last year, so I didnt really worry about it, but this year it happened about five times in the past two months, so I decided to seek help. I called the home inspector that inspected my house before I purchased it. And he recommended Ed's economy roofing. I checked them out online and they had pretty good reviews. I gave them a call and set up a time for them to come take a look at my roof. I had the pleasure of working with Tim. He showed up right on time (BIG PLUS). He was friendly and honest. It took him about 5 minutes to find the problem once he got up onto the roof. I followed him up on the roof once he found the issue. He showed me that my siding had pretty good size gaps in some areas and that's where the water was coming in whenever it rained really hard. He told me a couple of cheap ways I could fix the problem and that was all. He didn't charge me for the visit. I had several shingles blown off during the last couple of windstorms and contacted Ed's. The service I received was not what I expected. I had assumed since my needs were so small that I would have been a very low priority, but I was treated exceptionally well and made me feel just as important as a big job. Tyler came out the day after I had called and offered to make the repair on the spot for far less than another roofing company I had contacted. 20 minutes later he was done and it looked great. Then about a month later was the second wind storm during which I had additional damage. I contacted Tyler and he came out again without hesitation and made the necessary repair. When the time comes to have my roof re-done, I will call Ed's without question and will give as many referrals as I can. read more
