Michelle the owner, is very patient and goes to great lengths to explain the processes involved before and during the glass blowing. You can tell Michelle enjoys glass blowing and that passion makes the class even better. Quinn was very helpful and answered a lot of questions I had about glass blowing. I highly recommend this experience. There are all sorts of items you can make, from ornaments, snowmen, pumpkins, glasses and more. Thank you Michele and Quinn for a great experience! It makes the process feel confident and fun. I made a beautiful glass bottle and my sister made a lovely ornament. In addition to the standard paperweights are more creative options such as: olive oil bottle, soap dispenser, votive holder, glasses and vases. They were so positive and professional. I was just visiting, but if I lived here I'd definitely schedule a group session. They thought of everything: pre-mixed color combos for frit and even a place to sit while blowing your glass. The only thing I might have loved is if instead of just two colors I could have customized with three. Other than that, I loved the possibilities! Note: they're an amazing non-profit so you can feel good about the whole process. We came back twice in one week!

Large variety of piece types and colors to choose from. I should mention that they craft the sculptures one by one, so for our large group of 15, it took about 2.5 hours. The service is abysmal! I took my longarm in for repair; after 7 months, I picked it up without it…read morebeing repaired. When I got home, I realized there were several missing parts: presser foot and needle, encoders, and power cord for encoders. After being assured by the owner many times that they would be mailed to me, which never happened, I now find that they are out of business. No wonder! I was told lie after lie about the part being ordered, and then about the missing parts being mailed to me. Interestingly, the part that was supposedly needed turned out NOT to be the problem. Another shop repaired it, and I had to purchase replacements for the parts that the Sewing Shop lost or misplaced! Now that they are no longer in business, at least no other customers will experience what I have experienced. No star at all for this shop!
