My friend purchased a New Travel Trailer in Massachusetts. Our travle destination was Albuquerque. After 300 miles of pulling the travel trailer we heard severe grinding on the trailer wheels. Ed's Auto Repair and Towing agreed to evaluate the wheels and found the brakes were completely destroyed due to subpar electrical work from the manufacturer of the travel travel trailer. Ed, Steve and everyone else were very helpful and informative on the cuase and repairs of the brake failure. They got us back on the road the same day. We are very grateful for them making our repairs a priority, even though they were very busy. Finally they provided us with a detailed report and photos that can be submitted the the manufacturer of the travel trailer for the Warranty claim. read more

JUST AWFUL! I had a work van dropped off 6 weeks ago. Left multiple messages, finally got a callback yesterday from Ed. He said, well it will be 3.5-4K. I asked what is wrong with it. his repply was: well the guy who dropped it off said it needs a new rear. I said: "so you havent looked at it yet? His repply was NO! So the van sat there for 6 weeks, he did not look at it, yet quoted me 3.5-4K in repairs! I picked up the van took it down the street, it was ready in 2 days and I DIDNT NEED ANY REPAIRS, just service... new fluids. JUST AWFUL. read more

Very honest, courteous and professional people. If you are not sure to use on this road (sterling) don't use anyone but Ed's. They have gained my patronage from now on, very decent people which is rare these days, they could have really taken advantage of a situation I had but didn't and had my car for almost an hour checking it and did not charge me because they knew it wasn't worth it. Excellent Service! Frank is the man! Hit a pothole on a Sunday and busted my front passenger tire. Took the car over to Mavis and went over several options with Frank on which tires to put on. After going over several options we were able to find a tire that wasn't at the bottom of the price list, but also wasn't going to break my wallet either. The place was double booked, but Frank did me a solid and squeezed me in. I was really appreciative as I travel about 60 miles a day for work. Thanks again Frank! read more

Ed's was $25 cheaper than the other company I called and they came promptly. However, when Vince got there, he pulled my car sideways out of the fire hydrant I'd slid into, during a snow storm, instead of pulling it from the back. He caused way more damage than had initially occurred, pulling off the whole side of the front of the car. There would have just been a hole in the bumper and headlight area and the car would have still been driveable had he towed the car backwards out of the ditch. When asked why he did that, he got defensive and said, I'm not the one who crashed into a ditch! When we spoke to the owner, Ed, he also seemed defensive and would not acknowledge that Vince could have made a better decision when towing the car. We weren't expecting compensation, just acknowledgement of wrongdoing on Vince's part and an apology. Two stars for lower prices and prompt service, but poor customer service and major damage to my car. read more
