We were given to Ed's by our builder. Since that time we have had them out a couple times to educate us on our system and when and how to replace filters. We did have a small leak, they came right out and fixed it. They have been very quick to respond and are very professional. Great Service! Had an emergency leak on my pump. Called first thing in the morning and they came out in about an hour.

We lost our water pressure yesterday morning around 9:45a and the pump was badly overheating. After checking to see if the pump was actually working, I shut it off, I called Ed's at 10:09a based on Googling my area for a company. Nobody answered so I left a vmsg explaining the situation. I was heading out to an appt but my wife is working from home. Their office called at 10:23a and said a tech would be out as soon as one was free. At 12:47p, a tech called and said he would be at our place in 10 minutes. My wife called me at 1:15p and said the tech needed to know where the well is. I spoke with him and explained how to find the well. At 1:51p the tech found the well (36 min) and began digging. I arrived home at 2:15p. The techs were 15 min away from finishing and were cleaning up. The techs were at our home for an hour and a half. When they left, they said I would get my invoice from the office and it would be $600.00! I received the invoice at 8:40a the next day. They charged us $200 to find the well ($200 / 36 x 60 = $333.33 per hour), $400 to replace the well-head and re-plumb the pump (whatever that means). Assuming $50 for parts - ok, $75 (no itemized invoice), that leaves $325 for the remaining hour or so of labor. ($333+$325) / 2 = $329.17 per hour for the whole job. Firstly, the office was going to send one tech. When two show up in 10 minutes or so, we figure they came from another job. They shouldn't charge us for two techs. Since I didn't ask them when I left the vmsg what their rates were, I guess it's on me. Secondly, the office could have informed my wife when they called her that it would be $329 per hour to find the well and $329 an hour thereafter, plus parts. We would have and should have called another well company. read more

Ed's Wells and Pumps installed my water system over three years ago. The only problems that I have had with the system are problems that I myself have created. But Ed came out quickly and on time to resolve any issues that I had. Because the problems were very minor, he insisted to not charge me for the call. He is as honest as it gets, and I would recommend him and his company to anyone who has a well water system or putting a new one in. read more

I was refereed to Ed by my neighbor, he saw service vehicles coming and going for a couple of days at my house and asked what's going on? I explained that from the testing of my water by four different companies that I had salt water intrusion to my well. Every one of them was trying to sell me a whole home RO system and asking between $9,500.00 and $11,800.00 to install, plus the yearly up keep of the system for filters and membranes of about $800.00 to $1,000.00. and I just didn't trust any of them, he said I know a man that is fair and honest, that's Ed. Ed came in drilled another well on the property and updated my water system for under $4,300.00!! I couldn't be more pleased with the results, he actually invoiced me for less than the original proposal by more than $350.00. His men were professional, on time and did a great job. Ed agreed upon a price of $ 150 to install my water pump, which is already over the local charge for that service according to Angie's List. Then when I got my bill he wants $200. I will only pay the agreed upon amount and will probably never do business with him again. He only charged one of my neighbors, $75 to install a new capacitor in his water pump and charged me $ 150. I will be filing a formal complaint against his company for trying to take advantage of me and I am extremely sorry I ever let him install water softener equipment for me. Do not use this company. They are DISHONEST. They will tell you, your equipment is "old and outdated and needs to be replaced" when it is not old and works fine". Because of their dishonesty, it cost me $2600.00. read more
