We had an great experience with using Old School Air Conditioning for our issue. We had an emergency with our AC, & needed someone to come out asap but it was very late in the night (~9pm, & most places that said they did 24/7 service kept telling us they wouldn't actually be able to come until the next morning); but we had animals & the conditions inside were getting really worrisome. We didn't know where to turn, until I found Old School & they got back to me right away. The owner's son called me himself, who was extremely nice (go Eagles, lol) and I knew we were in good hands! He had already dispatched someone come out immediately without any attempt to push us of to the next day. John Lopez and his Tech showed up in like under 20 min, and knew exactly how to fix our issue. The AC was up & running in no time! It was a great experience in a frantic time for us! We will definitely be going back to them for any AC needs from here on out! 100% recommend them. Thank you Old School, we appreciate you! :D Though now less than 24 hours, we are noticing the AC is not cooling below 80 degrees now; so not sure. We have to call back. We did call back, they came out no charge. But, it was just our Handler dying basically (it was over 13y/o, we were planning to re-do it in 2026 to save but needed it now). So, we did end up getting a new system with them. The office was nice during set up and everything. But then come install day, there was a no-name truck that showed up with two guys (not even sure if they were Old School employees, had no drop cloths or garbage bags or anything, pretty unprofessional). It was installed seemingly well from what I can tell. But, no one from the actual Old School company called afterwards that day or even the following days. The install was just not done imo to standards. Not to mention the unit itself sits outside my bedroom window, & it is so loud! So, now I can barely sleep. Not sure if they are all that loud, but ahhh... just not the greatest i'd say. But idk... any how, hope this helps! read more

THE WORST COMPANY EVER! If you want to avoid endless headaches, choose literally any other company. Three weeks ago, we purchased an entirely new A/C system for our apartment, and we're still waiting for it to be installed. They've been here four different times, and every single time the technicians wait until the end of the day to tell us they couldn't finish because of yet another issue, and that we'll have to wait another week. When it's over 95°F in Florida, you can imagine what it's like living in an apartment with no air conditioning. The most frustrating part is that we already paid for a brand-new system, yet they still can't seem to complete the installation. They also told us the water heater needed to be replaced, so we bought a brand-new water heater as well. Today was the fourth visit, and they still refused to install it--even though it was right there and ready to go. As of July 31, 2026, with the temperature at 93°F, we're still waiting and hoping that one day they'll finally finish the installation. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

My main air conditioner stopped working in the late afternoon. I realized the problem and called Old School just after 6 PM, expecting to be told that I would receive service in one to two days. To my astonishment, old School dispatched a service tech to my home immediately. Jonathan arrived just after 7 PM and diagnosed and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. My air conditioner was working again by 7:30 PM. Even better, the part that failed was under warranty and with my service contract with Old School there was no charge for the tech's visit or repair. Old School is the first air conditioning service company that I've encountered in South Florida that actually treats a service contract as a commitment to provide rapid service. I am an ECM cust for about 15 yrs now, last Tues my AC stopped working and a week later still not resolved yet ( 2 tech visits and waiting on parts) Frustrated and sweating, I called Old School, they were out in 3 hrs, diagnosed and fixed, no waiting for 2nd tech opinion nor parts. It was really nice to get a live person on the phone when I called in, these guys are great. When I had a problem with my a/c unit and they came in one hour and helped me out. I was so impressed with the repair guy that I paid for one year of service on the spot. The way that it works, I actually save money because they charge no labor for their visits. With an older system like mine, I usually need about 3-4 visits per year, which usually costs me about $1,500 per year, just in labor with my last company. read more
