This has got to be the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. You have to leave several messages before they return your call and when they finally do, they do not follow up with anything as promised including estimates, or anything else. They just keep saying they will get back to you and never do. Its really too bad because it appears from other reviews that their work is ok however if you are too busy to take on other customers you should just say so instead of stringing people along. Excellent. Our well pipe collapsed. We were dry in the house. I called 3 companies none could get to me for days! Finally, someone said to call Rice. I did. And they were out in a day. The customer service lady came out, told me the price ( cheaper than any of the other quotes I got). And told me, we get paid once you have water. The drill team. Polite. Careful. The hookup team. Cant be good at what you do if you never show up. Called them to come out for an estimate spoke with Clarissa and we set a date for a week later. half hour after the missed appointment I called spoke with Clarissa again and she gave me some stories as to why they might not have shown up (bad weather-Weather happens to be great etc) She told me she would find out where her estimate guy is and call me back in twenty minutes....Hours later no call back. I was quoted $1400 (or less) to do a complete irrigation well install. As I predicted they were "too busy" to get the job done for the price quoted. To get the job done in a timely fashion the price jumped up to $2800. Just like the reputable guy quoted to begin with. Good luck with the bait and switch plan elsewhere Amelia Earhart. Darren and crew installed a new 2-inch irrigation system well Spring 2019. As per most of the previous reviews, they are still great to work with reasonably priced. This install didn't go 100% according to plan, as they had to try more than once to get a good well with sufficient flow. Through all of that, there was never a discussion of a change in price. Darren did what he said he would do for the price he said he would do it. I will definitely call him again in the future! read more

Nothing Could be further from the truth Eric, you should consider yourself lucky if they do not sue you. Forging those papers is not possible. They want nothing down until you are 100% satisfied. Every other Well driller knew them that I allowed to compete and all had nice things to say about them. They have been in business since 1987 and have done thousands of wells, in fact they are so backed up with orders they are having our group of homes use someone to put in the pump and timer so it gets done faster for us. Plus they even offered terms with zero interest. I find these folks the best in the business in my opinion and I thought the list of the top ten well drillers were all very good and very knowledgeable. You sound like a giant headache to work, well at least that is my opinion. To everyone else these guys are great, not good but great. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. Rice was contracted by the irrigation contractor to dig a 3" well for irrigation use only. As I already had 2 2" wells on my property I only needed a new well to deliver clean, iron free water. The other wells were too shallow. Long story short, this new well is even more contaminated. Called Rice 5 times to discuss what could be done only to have NONE of the calls returned. Emailed him, no response. Finally, at my wits end, I asked my attorney to write a letter to see if he would get a response. Nothing! It should also be said that Rice forged the county permit. Complaints are being filed with the County and the South Florida Water Management District. Rice is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Buyer beware! Stay away! read more
