Other patients have spoken so fondly of her and I can see why. She was very kind, thorough, and willing to answer all my questions. A very sweet lady too that referred to me with terms of endearment. My biggest qualm was the wait time. She is only open a few days of the week, and she sees patients on a first come first serve basis. I waited literally two hours to be seen. Also, the waiting room looks old and is quite small. There is limited ventilation which is probably not the best for preventing the spread of germs. People were coughing while I was there. The staff are friendly and caring but definitely busy trying to handle everyone. If you go to see Dr. Ibrahim, be sure to bring a book or some music to listen to to help ease the wait time. Her office is also on the side of the house, not up the stairs. Otherwise, she is a gem. And oh, only cash or check is accepted!

I should know, I've been yelled at by her a few times for being (willfully) non-compliant w/my meds, appts, etc. I can't blame her given my diabetic condition & how it can quickly cascade into something serious (like heart failure) if left unchecked. Most doctors have this "meh, it's up to you what you do to yourself" attitude. Clearly, Dr. Patel is not one of them. She's also very thorough. She leaves no stone unturned (she'll do an EKG, order X-ray etc). Perhaps due to her thoroughness, she takes a holistic approach, so she will ask for records from your other doctors, opticians, physical therapy etc. Best of all, despite of her hectic schedule (it was much worse before, when her staff routinely overbooks her), in addition to the questions directly related to our illness/condition, she has always managed to take the time to ask: "How are you doing?" A doctor who actually cares. What a novel concept!

From the security outside taking temperatures, the lady working the front desk in the lobby upon entering and all nurses and doctors, so far they're always very helpful. The bathrooms are VERY clean which I appreciate especially using the changing station . The waiting rooms are clean as well. However the wait times are disastrous and the amount of people they schedule at a time are disastrous as well. Example, I have an appointment at 9:30am it is now 12:30pm and my child still has not received the vaccine I came in for. The waiting room must have had 20 kids all Crammed in 9:00am-10:30am. Why? Why not spread out everyone's appointments . Obviously 20 children a cannot be seen in an hour. Also, parents may not feel safe being packed together so closely with so many other adults and children during a pandemic. Some parents have left without seeing a doctor (for a scheduled appointment) because some children are restless , and some parents have to work. There has to be a much better way to work out the scheduling of these appointments.
