Then when you do get ahold of them, it's a middle man that has to call the real on call doctor and connect you two. They only give 2 days of pain pills after the surgery even though they know you're gonna be in pain with stents for 7 days. The staff is rude and the surgeon is cocky and uncaring. I'd sooner recommend you get surgery in the basement of a bombed out building in a third world country than go here for anything.

We don't see him as often but when we do, we are always pleased. I had 5 appointments and all were pretty much the same story. Brandi (nurse practitioner) was particularly quick with her words and explanations. After 2 minutes, I could tell she and the staff were in a rush. When I initially sat with the nurse, she seemed surprised with regard to what I was there for. I indicated all the reasons I needed to be seen with the receptionist. Sitting for several minutes with the nursing assistant, she kept forgetting what I was there for. She kept saying "the doctor will document that". When Brandi (NP) came in, she immediately started talking at a records pace. I was there for prenatal care and asked her and the assistant to slow down repeatedly so I could write what was said. She didn't slow down either. Update: After calling them about my care, they called back to tell me they were discharging me as a patient (due to the issues I experienced with Brandi and the nurse's assistant). They said because of the "incident" (where I stated they rushed me before I left the office) they will no longer offer care. No notice, no phone call, nothing. They even indicated I wasn't welcome, then referenced this Google review as the reason why. I never told them I left this review. Not one staff member called to ask me why I left the appointment early, or got my side of the story. Just...really horrible care. Not recommended to anyone with a disability (additional care and patience).

After double bypass open heart surgery (CABG) at EIRMC performed by Dr. Riveron with assistance from Logan Cutts, normally the cardiologist would do followup, but Dr. Riveron was a visiting physician helping out for a week. I had the pleasure of having Logan Cutts do my followup for the next ten weeks. The first post hospital followup had Logan enter the room, glance at his notes, and say "Lose 20 pounds." Not a suggestion, a statement. His kind, but blunt statements were impactful and effective. (I've lost 25 pounds since then.) I had significant blood pressure issues after that and Logan adjusted my bp meds to keep it in line. He also advised me on cardiac rehab, saying I should delay it until other rehab could be done. His manner was friendly, informative, and calming during a tough time. While in the hospital, I heard many times - "Logan? Everyone knows and likes Logan!" After ten weeks, I had found and had one visit with my new cardiologist (my previous one had retired), so Logan passed me on giving me best wishes and continued health. It was a great heart followup experience!

The local hospital did a temporary cast to allow the swelling to go down and we made an appointment with Dr. Redd. He and the whole staff was excellent. Our daughter needed multiple x-rays and the x-ray tech was gentle and very friendly with our daughter. The nurse was the same. Dr. Redd was very friendly and my daughter, while scared that there would be pain, immediately warmed up to him. He had to put pressure on her arm while setting the cast but each time our daughter was about to cry, he diverted her attention to other topics (birthdays, playing, sports, school, etc.) and before you know it, with hardly a tear, the process was done. I highly recommend him and his staff.
