I would not recommend Attorney Caryn Elise Carter Gomar and the Edward Law Group Firm based on my experience with her representation. I hired Ms. Gomar for legal services and was extremely disappointed with the level of service provided. Ms. Gomar repeatedly failed to meet deadlines and made several mistakes in my case that resulted in wasted time and expenses on my part. One significant mistake was scheduling me for the wrong court time, which caused me to incur additional expenses and time lost. Another significant issue was Ms. Gomar failing to submit the correct documents for a motion for a new trial, which led to the motion being denied. Additionally, I was ordered to pay child support for a child that I have always had control and custody of, and Ms. Gomar did not perform her duties to the required standard. Furthermore, when I attempted to contact Ms. Gomar and the paralegal, Josh, about these issues, they ignored my calls and emails. I could only get in contact with accounts payable. Even worse, when Ms. Gomar promised to credit me for her paralegal's mistake, I was still billed over $1000 for that day. Overall, Ms. Gomar's lack of competence and accountability has caused me to suffer financial loss and undue hardship. I requested a refund for the malpractice and misrepresentation, but I did not receive any satisfactory response.
