We had eye appointments for my husband my daughter and myself. We were able to easily schedule either online or over the phone. They made it very convenient to complete our required documents beforehand via their website so all we had to do was bring them in. The first set of tests for glaucoma, etc. were State-of-the-art and they have it set up very efficiently. First my husband went down the row of machines than I did then my daughter. I was so thankful that for an additional $55, they didn't have to dilate my eyes and instead used a machine that took a picture of the back of the eye. It was pretty cool! Also, they use a device but there's no puff of air which I was really grateful for! There was a power outage midway through our appointments and they handled it with care. As far as the portion that the doctor does, it's pretty standard procedure. Dr. Edwards listen to any concerns that we had and reviewed the results of the other test with us. My thought process has been that when they get you in the room to read the letters, it's not an efficient way to test someone's eyesight. I'd rather have them step outside with me while I've got lenses on so that I can truly look at distance versus close-up in adequate lighting. My husband got contacts and he thinks the prescription is perhaps too strong. Because they did not push products on us, we actually ordered glasses for me. They even sent us home with our popular distance so that I can order extra pairs online if I so choose. we will actually ask for the prescriptions when we go to pick up my glasses. Oops! Overall, we recommend Edwards eye care. Be aware that as of May 2025, there is construction out front to widen the road so pad your timing a little bit extra. read more

I chose to come to this office after having some bad experiences with past eye care offices. I was amazed with the quality of service and care here. All of the staff was very kind and helpful, and Kyle Edwards was a great doctor, who did a great job explaining everything to me and providing me with excellent glasses and contacts prescriptions. Closest eye doctor to home and happy about it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They make you feel at home and don't give that stuffy 'doctor' facility vibe at all. We were able to get appointments right when we needed them and for a basic exam were in and out in less than 30 minutes. And.... they are very baby/kid friendly. I had my 3 week old with me and they let me have their break room to change a diaper and nurse (I'm sure if I nursed in the lobby they would have been fine with that, too). read more

Kyle and company are awesome! I used to go to the eye doctor once, well, whenever I couldn't get contacts any more. I have seen Kyle 3 years in a row, and I can say it really makes a difference. My eyes feel better, and I have the assurance they are healthy. They have convenient hours, even late a couple nights a week I believe to help working people. If you have been using the chain eye doctors, try them and you will be amazed. It is night and day. I have been to Dr Edwards 4 or 5 times and every time has been a pleasant experience and worthwhile. I first went with very inflamed eyes and he helped with that immediately. Prior I had been to 3 different Opthalmologists none of whom cleared the inflammation. I have since had complete eye checks and Dr Edwards is very thorough. I just had my annual eye exam and ordered glasses. I have also sent my husband to him who also had a complete eye exam. We are very happy with him and his office. read more

Had the worst experience. Read the reviews and decided to try Edwards. When I got the glasses back (after a week turn-around), they were completely wrong. Everything was a total blur. Thought I had another person's script. They told me they made a mistake and ordered a distance prescription, when I requested glasses for computer work. I assured them I couldn't see near or far with them. Didn't have time to wait another week for glasses and went to Lenscrafters where they determined that the prescription was transcribed completely wrong based on my eye exam. So if they would've ordered them again, they still would have been wrong. read more

No experience with the doctor but staff is extremely unfriendly. I've purchased lenses through them and had frames adjusted a few times. I'm Never greeted with a smile and staff always seems to be put out and act as if they are having to go out of their way to assist with any questions. I recently stopped in to see if they had any frames to fit my daughters very small face and they were not willing to do anything for me until they were certain there was going to be a purchase, even though I was already an existing customer. I was told this was their business policy. From a customers standpoint, this is very frustrating. Even as I mentioned this to them they just looked at one another, shrugged their shoulders, and rolled their eyes. In my opinion, not very good customer service. read more
