Let me start out by…read moresaying that I take phenomenal care of my teeth & oral hygiene. 2-3 years ago I had a dental implant done by Dr. Sindoni. The entire experience was a nightmare!! The first one was "a failure". Ok fine, it had to come out & a new one put in. It literally took months for everything to heal in between visits & what not. I was due for a follow-up in October of 2020, in the heat of Covid. Allegedly I missed this appointment. In December of 2020 I, along with my family, contracted Covid. I was hospitalized & on oxygen. Christmas Eve, 2020, my mother passed from Covid. My father was hospitalized for 3 months, then released in my care due to dementia. Allegedly I missed another appointment in January of 2021 while I was healing & grieving the death of my mother. Fast forward to today, the implant is giving me issues. It's tender, sore & I was told by my dentist that there's some bone loss. I call Dr. Sindoni's office to get back in there to see what's going on & I'm informed by STEPHANIE, that I'm a "non-compliant" patient for allegedly no-showing at my previous appointments. I explained to her what happened & where my life, head & heart were at the time & she didn't care! All she kept saying was that I was non-compliant. She's rude, bitchy & knows there will be zero repercussion as the doctor is her husband. There is no more $$$ to be made on me. They already robbed me and now won't follow through on THEIR workmanship. STEPHANIE informed me that this was an "investment" and it was up to me to "protect my investment"=we're not taking responsibility for any issues in the future. Tread carefully! She told me they no longer work with my insurance but they will still except me. The new way it works is that you pay in full up front with a discount and then I have to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. Then she said I was okay for that day, that they'll submit it because they are not fully switched over yet. But because of that, and I know it's because of that, I received the worse service ever from a dentist office. From time I sat in the chair until I got out, 10 minutes!!! It was rushed and incomplete for a cleaning. Didn't do half of what other hygienist do. When you leave a dentist , you can feel the difference in your teeth. Not me, only pain! It's been almost 4 hours now and still in pain! Also, no X-rays either! Even though I was not only a new patient, but when asked how long it's been since my last X-rays and that being at least 3 years, still no X-rays! I even told them I have pain like as if i have a cavity! Still nothing! Said I'm good and it's just recession! ‍ You can't tell me they're not worried about being reimbursed!
