However, they did the full work up for my Invisalign - but the orthodontist himself didn't even take the time to physically look at my teeth and insisted that I could not only do the top teeth (that's the only part I wanted moved) and had to do the bottom retainer too. Price: $7,500! I thought more about it as that was a hefty price tag. I went to another orthodontist for a second opinion, who took the time to look at my teeth and do a full work up showing what my teeth would look like at the end. No bottom retainer needed. Price: $2,800. While the staff was great at Askler, they crazy over charge and would recommend getting a second opinion before signing at the dotted line.

We didn't know if it was even a possibility to have those teeth come down and be in place, but Dr. Koch was able to do it (albeit with the help of an oral surgeon who was able to place a hook on one of the teeth so Dr. Koch could slowly draw it down). I already received a complimentary consultation elsewhere with a quote. And they did NOT charge me. The front desk told me she would have someone call me back. Sure. I got a call back and told the same thing. Ok. Then I proceeded to cancel my appointment. The office (wish I remembered her name), said she would ask the doctors and call me back (again). Days later I received a call and told there would be no fee. Great. My husband brought my daughter yesterday and sure enough, I am charged $85.00. Called and spoke to the office manager. She handled it very poorly, and kept explaining that they did a lot of "extra's" and that the $85 was actually a great deal. The thing is, I didn't ask for any extra's. I just wanted to know if I would be paying the same price for another round of braces and to see if I could get some kind of discount as a returning patient. This manager made a point to say that there was no record of my previous conservations and therefore, she would not do anything. I have worked for years in private practice - Manhattan - selling elective medical cosmetic procedures. I understand how this works. It is not about the money but about the practice keeping their word and honoring their commitment to the patient. I spoke to them 3x before our actual appointment and they still charged me. I did reluctantly, and left my with botched asymmetrical front teeth I cannot never get back again. They're horrible, and he had the treatment further fall into a canted smile to hide what he did claiming it was somehow unavoidable and I'm just being difficult. I've been in treatment for 3.5 years and my smile looks worse than the minor crowding I went in with to have him fix. You can see this slanted cant now from across the room. We kindly asked him to take any responsibility or negotiate a reimbursement, and he refused. But he won't let me post my after pictures anywhere online, pointing the teeth he ground, asking for a simple response from his company as to why they were touched. Before Covid they also used to never wear masks, him or the staff, and he got me sick because he was so sick but didn't care to wear one despite breathing inches from my gaping mouth. One time I could smell the repulsive cigarette breath of one of his hygienists. I asked them to mask around me from then on after he got me sick, which in an ortho office is like asking people to wash their hands after pooping. Gross. Negligent. Liar. Unprofessional. Scam. First let me say that I have no fear of dentistry at all so you can read the review with that in mind and imagine how it would be for someone who does have these issues. Recently I had something ,other than my usual every six month cleaning year after year, occur and I needed it handled as soon as possible. I called my usual Amherst office and explained the situation to the office staff who were very nice and had me speak to Dr Laura Littman. Dr Littman was absolutely wonderful. She understood my concern and wanted to get me in the correct situation as soon as possible. She was so very helpful in getting me in to the Orchard Park office that day. When I arrived at the Orchard Park office their staff was so welcoming. Nikki ( assistant) and Dr Fallon never made me feel like I disrupted their schedule. Dr Fallon asked questions and listened to the answers. Asked if the angle of the chair was comfortable for me, generally was very conscious of me as a patient my comfort and any possible concerns. He resolved the issue and gave me all the information I needed. His chair side manner was above and beyond doctors in any science. The checkout staff was equally thoughtful and helpful topping off the whole experience with kindness. I can't express my thanks enough and how impressed I was by everyone from my first phone call to the Amherst office to checking out at the Orchard Park office, by everyone.
