We had a great time at Ed'z tonight! After a long day on the slopes, this is a great place to dine! We'd like to give a shoutout to our server David. He did a wonderful job. He was busy but made the time to chat with us about skiing. He was very attentive - asking us if we needed anything, always making sure our water was filled. He was also just a nice guy to talk to! We ordered the 1/2 chicken - super flavorful, and we had the meatloaf which was our favorite. We loved the sauce! Both meals came with TWO sides. Wisconsin cheese curds are new on the menu and were the best, rated by our granddaughter who lives in Wisconsin. Chicken pot pie is great fare and very filling. My family really enjoys Ed'z! We've been a handful of times and every time everyone is very friendly. The chicken pot pie is truly delicious, and I absolutely love the crust on top. I just wish it was baked in a pastry crust, too. :) My mom always orders the half chicken and loves it. My husband got the cheesesteak for the first time last night and ate it all - he thought it was fantastic! The portions are large and the inside is perfectly fine. Sorry? Didn't take a picture of my fish n chips but I'm kinda glad. I never want to see anything like it again. The fish was covered in some type of flavored coating ~ Not sure. Maybe just trying way too hard some jerk spice mixed with old bay mixed with salt. Just way too much going on. Waitress was new but she did good. Fries looked pretty but meh. Bummer. A well kept secret by the locals, Ed'z features a modern decor with friendly service, and amazing food. I should warn you, the portions are on the bigger side and reasonably priced for the amount of food. The blooming onion was cooked to perfection and so was the meatloaf. For me though, the mashed potatoes and gravy were the star of my dish. Followed closely by a creamy mac n cheese. We loved it so much, we went back a second time. This place was awesome! Super busy so make sure you get a reservation. Food was great. My dad ordered the steak and said it was one of the best he's ever had. We all shared the ribs as well and agreed they were pretty good. Truffle tots are great if you like truffle! Soup was good but soup of the day so it changes all the time. The food is great but the service was lacking tremendously. We arrived at 4pm and did not receive our food until 5 and multiple other tables received their food and drinks before us. We were only a party of 2. We asked for another round of beers and had to wait 20 minutes for the server to come by again to ask again for another round when we had already asked him for this before. We have had this issue with being ignored at Ed's and having terrible service multiple times. It is sad as long time locals to experience this kind of service when we get great service at many other places. If you're a person of color, be wary as you might not get the best service. read more

We went here on May 13. The parking lot was fairly full. Ed'z has been open a few months att his point I think. They are in the same restaurant group as Northside Kitchen, Southside Benderz and Fattoria. Since it's mud season, it was not full but still pretty busy. We grabbed two seats at the bar and checked out the menu. I ordered the 7552' and my wife ordered the Courtesy Call. They were both really good but my glass was sticky from the grenadine all over it. We got a half rack of Ribs and the short rib pit roast for dinner. For sides, I got the charred broccoli and green beans while my wife got green beans and onion rings. Everything was spot on and full of flavor. The veggies were cooked perfectly and both of our meats were fall apart tender. The staff was fairly attentive but it seemed like they were a little short staffed at the bar. This would be a great place for a more casual romantic date or a nice dinner out that won't break your budget. I would imagine that all the food here is as good as the other restaurants they own. It's definitely a welcome addition to the food scene in the valley and we'll be coming here quite a bit. read more

In the evening, there is dim lighting over the open floor plan, which draws your attention to the large fire place or bar that wraps around opposite sides of the restaurant. This would be a good place for a date night. The wedge salad is the perfect size to be split between two people for an appetizer. They also have really good chicken pot pie. We showed up before the rush for valentines day. There were only 2 tables sat when we walked in. Ambiance was great, but everything took forever and wasn't cooked to order. The 'medium' burger was almost entirely brown. The truffle oil on the tater tots was beyond disgusting, it didn't even taste like truffle oil. Not having non-truffle tots made the kids upset. There were less than ten tables sat when we left, most of them had gotten their food before us and presumably it was cooked better. Very disappointing and we won't be back. read more
