    Overlooking Arrowhead Mountain

A nice rustic farm to table restaurant with a patio overlooking Arrowhead Mountain. We had an early dinner during our ski trip to Beaver Creek and was sat near the windows by the patio which has a nice Mountain View. Our server was nice and food was decent. We had the delicious Lemon al Ajillo Shrimp as appetizer. My hubby ordered the Harvest Burger while I opted for the Pan Seared Salmon. The salmon was flavorful with the crispy skin and light celery root purée. One thing tho was they didn't time it right to bring out the entrees, we were not even half way done on the appetizer when they brought the main course out. Both dishes were sitting on the table while we rushed to finish the appetizer. Overall it was a nice dinner and we enjoyed it.

This was a lovely spot for lunch! The view was great on the back patio. The service was good, family friendly, and nice menu for food/ alcohol. I ordered the berry creek salad with salmon. It was fresh and yummy! We also got the shrimp bruschetta appetizer which was light and delicious. My friends enjoyed the peach flatbread, clam chowder soup, and Hawaiian chicken sandwich. All had good feedback. This is a good spot for lunch!

What a view! The patio here is beautiful and the food is pretty great as well! I would recommend the Hawaiian style chicken sandwich and the sweet potato fries. Also the shrimp bruschetta is a great appetizer to share.

What a pleasant surprise, vastly improved from last summer. Excellent service, great appetizers and entrees. Loved everything we ate. Highlights were the ceviche and asparagus salad

This is a very good place to bring a friend and sit down, get lunch, and maybe get a drink. Has a great pool, hot tub, and gym.

Incredible ingredients prepared with finesse and creativity. Best octopus i ever had, so tender! The pork belly was beautiful: every item on the plate was purposeful and delicious. Great mouth feel.

I loved the wide, yet perfected, menu selections. This place is cool because you can have a group with a vegan, gluten-free, carnivore, etc. and find something delectable for everyone. My mother had a glorified salad-type meal with eggs, arugula, and fish, which she loved. My father loved his duck dish as well. The atmosphere could use a little sprucing up. The dining room is somewhat bland and the tables look outdated. The table next to us was extremely loud and the place was fairly empty so I am not sure why we were sat in that location but it's our bad for not asking to move.

The Southerner breakfast plate! Best ever, made the way I like it!!!

Rustic, farm to table? Just another high priced chain style restaurant . The dining room is so loud and the service is just ok.

I'll never be back. $25 for a pile of lettuce. Don't waste your money. Vail's best greens is actually the worst greens anywhere.

It was pretty quiet (still off-season), and my husband and I were the only ones there when we walked in around 10. We sat at the bar and had a lovely conversation with Jeremy; I ordered the Gingerbread Man (take on an old fashioned with brown butter washed bourbon, and my husband got the "50 Shades of Green" - definitely one of the most unique cocktails we've ever tried! Price: Expect standard Vail pricing for high-end cocktails, with most drinks ranging between $16-$20. Customer Service: The service was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient; even though we stayed for quite a while to catch up, we felt welcomed and well-attended to the entire night. Atmosphere This spot has a cool, welcoming vibe that feels very safe. It's the kind of environment where you can really settle in and enjoy the company you're with. The Drinks I ordered the Sangre del Sol. The flavor was amazing, though be warned it is very strong! It's an excellent choice if you enjoy a cocktail with a serious kick, but I ended up letting my friend finish mine after a few sips. Overall Experience I highly recommend Root & Flower for a beautiful setting and top-tier service. Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at the S. Frontage Rd. East garage right nearby. I'll definitely be back!

Overall a very good vibe and very inviting to hang out. Service: Friendly and fast Food: Menu is definitely a step above your classic bar food, I got a sandwich special and steak tips. The sandwich was a grilled cheese croissant that included smoked gouda and balsamic reduction and it was really good. The steak tips were okay, decent flavor, a little chewy, maybe because they were cut so small? Value: Total after tip was $30ish for a 'just right' portion so may a little over valued. We were able to sample the wine before getting a bottle which I appreciate. The wine we had was delicious. Now food was a little bit of a miss. We got a charcuterie board which was good. The cheese and salami selection was good and it came with crackers, marcona amonds, fig spread and olives. I mean honestly nothing fancy or unique about it. But it pairs well with wine. We also got the focaccia bread which I felt was kind of greasy. I didn't even dip it in the oil cause it had enough oil in its own. We also got the margherita flatbread, but that didn't feel like a flatbread at all. The bread was thick and made it feel more like a pizza. The taste was good so I won't knock it completely, but I wouldn't be calling that a flatbread. Service was great, just a shame the food doesn't live up to expectations. I'd probably stick to the wine and charcuterie which were the best things I had.
