    Oysters
    Lori W.

My favorite restaurant was a hit once again! We tried the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer and were impressed! We also got some oysters which were delicious as always- my favs are the Larimer point oysters. Then I got a crab cake sandwich which was sooo good as well as a cocktail called The Butterfly Effect which was tasty. I'm always pleasantly surprised by this place! Service was excellent as always- all of the staff is super friendly and helpful. It's usually fairly popular and the ambiance is great. Can't wait to come back soon!

Best lobster I've ever ever had!

It's the best! It's my favorite place to go on a Friday afternoon. Both in Summer and winter. The happy hour oysters are a highlight of any week. I recently celebrated my birthday there and the owner got a lobster. The size of my chest was cooked perfection The fried oysters are great the calamari haven't had anything there, but it wouldn't come back and have another 10 times The staff is spectacular, friendly knowledgeable, making mixup an excellent libation !!! Simply amazing

Recently opened and stating fresh seafood in the mountains I didn't go in with high hopes. What can I say other than absolutely delicious!! Never thought we would be eating fresh Oysters, shrimp, Grouper etc around here. Everything we ordered was amazing super fresh, tons of flavor. We are from the coast so know good fresh seafood. The service was fast and fantastic super helpful and friendly, they where busy but no one skipped a beat! If your in the area and haven't tried this place your missing out...I am sure this is the first of many 5 star reviews for this place!

Went for happy hour and the food was great! Portions were small and the price was high. They had nice outdoor seating Service was amazing. Will go when my family comes!!

Great restaurant that is connected to the Inn in Riverwalk. Brooke and the the bartender were great with their service. The miso smoked salmon was delicious, highly recommend you try it!

    Shrimp, calamari, deviled egg

I really wanted to like this place! Food was just ok. Not bad not great. Seemed like we paid a lot for only a little food. Shrimp, calamari, and oysters were the best. Steamed clams lacked flavor. Unfortunately the deviled eggs dish was simply one egg aka two pieces. Overall I think this is a good choice if you simply want oysters. Otherwise your money will probably go farther and food more satisfying elsewhere.

Fish of the day and the lobster rolls

This place is great & I highly recommend. We had a several different items (oysters, peel & eat shrimp, chowder, fish of the day- which was Mahi-mahi, and the lobster roll). It was all fresh and delicious! Go check it out!

    Mussels! Please order these!

The bar itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful attention to small details. The bar seating against the window rail is incredible and if it's a nice day, you'll find it like we did, with the accordion window panes tucked away. You can't find a better way to spend an afternoon in the city - their craft cocktails are creative and unexpected. The views to pair with that, along with great company - chef's kiss. We ordered a few drinks and soaked in the views. The staff checked on us often and were up to making a few "off menu" drinks - that wowed us. If you aren't seeing what you are looking for, ask for it. I bet you won't be disappointed.

I'm so glad I found this spot while vacationing in Beaver Creek…read more We were looking for a place to grab some appetizers as we weren't that hungry and The Lookout Bar was the perfect spot as they only serve drinks and noshes. The Lookout bar is located in The Westin and on the top floor with stunning views. We were first greeted by the host Hal who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I noticed Hal walking through the bar checking on guests and also assisting the servers as needed with drink and food orders. We were seated at the window which had stunning views of the local village and mountain. Our servers John and Augustina were excellent. They never left us waiting for service and continuously checked in on us. We ordered dirty martinis which were served nice and cold. The only negative about the martinis would be the glasses are smaller than what martinis at most other places would be served in so it is simply a smaller serving. However, the wine was a generous pour. For bites, we ordered the Pimento Cheese which was served warm with baguette. So tasty. The beef + blue toasts. This was okay but not our favorite. The burrata salad. Very refreshing and delicious. Since we were not staying at the Weston and had to valet, they were kind enough to validate our ticket. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and experience the beautiful views and delicious drinks and small bites.

I love the rustic cabin decor in the dinning room, very warm and cozy vibe. Our server Brett is great, informative and very patience with us. Soup of the Day was Beef & Vegetable and it was pretty good. On the entrees, we went with the grilled wild game meats. Hubby got the Elk Combo (Elk Chop, Grilled Quail, Jackalope sausage). The chop cooked just right, tasty sausage and the quail was delicious. I had the Elk Tenderloin, it was flavorful but I should have ordered medium rare instead of medium as it was overdone to my liking :P

Not necessarily the most high in food nor is it expected. Which is ok. It Has a cool old school bar steakhouse feel to it. The last 25 years that I have been eating there it definitely has dwindled considerably over the years, but tonight was by far the worst and completely unacceptable. I took my dad out for his 76th birthday and was embarrassed by the lack of quality the food had, when it was brought to their attention they gave pretty much 2 shits. My fathers Grilled chicken was a 6 oz chicken breast cut in half to be paper thin and then grilled, why who knows, I am gonna assume they lost the ticket for a hot minute, he could barely cut the chicken when it did finally cut it legitimately crumbled and had zero seasoning I mean Zero. The burger was again seasoned with incompetence, the fries were or had been re dropped in the fryer at least 3-4 times completely saturated nothing but oil pockets... my wife got the steak bites and you couldn't even chew through it. A 5 year old has more talent cooking than what is being produced out of that place. It was legitimately insulting being fed food of that quality and believing it was acceptable. When it was brought up to them that is it was unacceptable the manager who has been there since the dawn of time "obviously burt out"...Clearly he dose not care what is produced out of there. Started telling me this is how they do it and that buffalo is a lean bland meat bla bla bla, sorry sir but I am not gonna tell you that I know food inside and out. It's what I do... so while you're feel good and confident about blowing smoke up peoples asses about your so called food knowledge and looking like a completely uneducated liar. Maybe just maybe listen to your customers and comp them when a comp is due. Because you and I both know it was trash. I would have rather taken $200 and flushed it down the toilet.......
