We were met at the door and asked my daughter her size. I said 8/10. The girl said "the 8's are here and the BIG ones are in the back". I couldn't believe she said that to a teenage girl. We went ahead and picked a few dresses only to be told by another lady that one of the dresses was too small for my daughter and she couldn't try it on. After I asked about the dress twice they reluctantly allowed her to try it on. If she had liked it it could have been ordered in her size. After all the size shaming we decided to leave. My daughter was in tears. Btw she is a very active varsity athlete and not "BIG" at all. After leaving I decided to call back and talk to the owner. He insisted that it was a misunderstanding. Expected to endure a day of prom dress shopping... We shopped several boutiques in the morning, but after lunch went to Eesh because it opens at 1 pm. My advice to all of you is shop for a dress after lunch and make Eesh your first stop. I have twins that are picky and have different styles. Eesh was able to meet both their needs. The staff at Eesh was great and very patient! My only suggestion would be to add more seating for Dads and little brothers that tag along. Worst experience ever in that place it's really small and the fitting room line takes too long. They are also veery expensive and you can't even hold the dresses as you'd please it also seems like they pressure you to buy the dress which I hate. I've searched at countless stores and never found a single dress that I liked. Then a week before prom I came into eesh and found a wide range of beautiful and unique dresses. The owners/staff were very helpful and polite and they even hand picked a few dresses for me to try on that try thought would look nice, and the one that the staff picked ended up being the one that I bought. My only critique would be that some of the dresses were a little pricy but we were given a nice discount. The owners seemed very experienced with everything and were very kind in helping me negotiate with my mom when she didn't agree with my choice of dress.
