Suburban Girl is one of my favorite little boutiques that I have found since my days being in San Francisco. NOTE: (( or for all you inner loopers (insert: my sister here) who heaven forbid you step outside the loop go ahead, grab yourself a coffee and take a mini road trip)), 1. Merchandise galor: dresses, shirts, hats, jeans, scarves, picture frames, jewelry, bags, boots, magnets, bottle stoppers, home decor the list can go on and on and on........ 2. Casual Eclectic style: ( For those of you who are more classic than eclectic...dont think they dont have stuff for you either) This store is constantly getting new merchandise and the owner makes it a point to order a limited amount of each style so that your chance of running into your own episode of "who wore it best" is slim to none. ( Let's face it, we have ALL been there, done that and hope and pray that it doesnt happen again.) 3. Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name: (Not kidding about this one..I'm a regular, and I am sure they would learn your name also if you drop by enough) I drop by the store about every other week to browse and see whats new plus as a bonus when I am on the road ( I travel ALOT on business) the owner also puts pictures on their facebook of the latest shipments so you can see what is new plus if there is something you are dying to have you can message her on facebook and she will hold it for you for a few hours so you can get in and try it on! 4. Friendly Staff: very warm and welcoming staff and ready to help you with any questions you may have, really easy going ladies. 4. They are a huge help with clothes options and styling, it's like having my own personal stylist! Their prices are not bad, and you get either a 5 or 10% discount when you check in with Facebook. That may not seem like much, but it's something and anything is better than nothing considering they don't have to do it at all. Disappointed in product quality and customer service!…read more I purchased a Volcano candle from Adelyn's Boutique and I'm extremely disappointed. The candle has three wicks, yet it will not stay lit. It tunnels badly (the sides don't melt down), the wax builds up around the edges, and there's black soot collecting on the inside of the jar. The wax pool gets so heavy that it repeatedly drowns the flames, and it becomes very difficult to relight. This is not normal performance for a candle and definitely not what I expected. What made this worse was the customer service. When I reached out for help, I felt like Lucy Evans was dismissive and did not follow through. The impression I got was that because she "only sells" the product, she believes she isn't responsible when it arrives defective or performs poorly. As the seller, I believe the boutique should stand behind what it sells and provide clear, timely resolution when a customer receives a faulty item. I won't be shopping here again, and I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If you're considering buying this candle through this boutique, I suggest proceeding with caution.
