The night that I purchased the items, the store was closing so I called the store as soon as I saw the rips to ensure that my long distance number would be on the store's call log when they opened the next day. Unfortunately they did not have an answering machine. I attempted to return the ripped dress the next day even though I'd detached the tags. I figured the number of items that I purchased, the amount of money that I had spent, the fact that I'd called as soon as I found out the dress was ripped, the fact that I was visiting from another state, and the fact that my daughter and I came back to purchase more items would have been enough to receive an exception to the return policy rule concerning detached tags. The manager, Pablo, was nasty, condescending, and kept a sh%t eating grin on his face when telling me that I could not receive an exchange. More importantly, I did not want a refund, but I wanted to exchange the rip dress for another dress. Although, I will never patronize this store again, I recommend that anyone purchasing items from this store to try on all items before purchase. Lastly, I would like to say that the cashiers that assist me the night that I purchased the items had great customer service etiquette. If only Fanny & Isaiah's manager, Pablo, had great customer service skills like they do, I'm sure the store would have a 5-star rating!

The staff has always been kind, caring, and genuinely helpful--something that is rare and hard to find at many other Indian clothing stores. When it came time for my own wedding, I returned and purchased many of my wedding outfits from here as well, and once again, the experience was wonderful. Today, one of the employees made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I had my headphones on, and I was walking up and down the isles, looking for earrings for a trip coming up, and the employee came up and took my baskets stating I was not able to carry my basket around , I was a little confused since I had been there years with no issues. I typically don't pay attention to the employees when I'm there, but then I realized they were following me around like a hawk. Which I get it to an extent, but I wasn't doing anything suspicious I typically walk in the center of the isles and just look at everything. I only touched stuff if it's something I'm potentially interested in. No big bag I had a small fanny pack. What made it worse was that then I watched other people walking around with their baskets being able to freely shop. Maybe because I keep my headphones on and just look for what I'm looking for, but they felt a certain way. I don't go in corners of the stores or anything. I just go there to shop. Like I said, I have been going here for most of my adult life. I felt super uncomfortable and yucky after that. I will not be returning. They always have a great variety of items, especially when it comes to clearance and shoes. I love shopping during their "Clear the Rack" events when clearance gets an extra 25% off. It's the perfect time to score great deals and gifts. Parking is plentiful, the store is always clean and well organized, and they offer in-store pickup, which is super convenient. Definitely one of my go-to spots for shopping!
