After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer. He even kept a close eye on the market and advised me when I should lock in the rate. I thought home buying would be more stressful, but it wasn't as bad as I thought because Trung made every step clear and was very on top of deadlines. From pre-approval to loan closing, it took just one month! Thank you Trung for being so diligent and patient in helping me secure my dream home!
