Lamb chops

I had a great breakfast here! No complaints really, except the medium rare lamb chops were quite rare. Also, to sub potatoes for a salad it's an addition $4. Is this really necessary? That was over the top. Sausage really good. French toast was alright. Amazing potatoes!!!!

I came here for breakfast during work travel and I have to say I was super thrilled with my experience. The service was great and very attentive. The interior decoration was so beautiful and so inviting that it was so comfortable to eat in. The food was delicious. I ordered turkey, bacon and scrambled eggs and they were so fresh and came out super hot. My favorite was their French toast.

The wait was long due to being a popular brunch spot. When we were seated it took a while to get a server and our waters, but ince the order was in the food came out hot, fresh and together. So worth the wait I would say . We we're a party of 4 . Two of us ordered the Ultimate BTL on a buttery Croissant with a side ceaser salad. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. Everything tastes so fresh. One of use ordered the omelet with home fries, another ordered the breakfast platter. Overall a solid brunch / lunch spot.

I was happy to find that this place was a 7-minute walk from my hotel while I was in Toronto for a work event. We started working in the early morning, so my last day was the only day that I could get out and enjoy a real breakfast. I got there right as they opened at 7 am and was seated right away. I ordered the crepes with chicken, spinach and mushrooms, and it was one large crepe with a plate of salad. A bit odd for breakfast (more of a brunch item) but it was very good! I love crepes and this dish did not disappoint. My $7 latte was not as impressive. It was watery and not as enjoyable. My waitress was kind enough to give me a to go cup and add coffee to it for me to take with me. Overall I enjoyed and I'm glad I came.

Really good food. It's in the cut behind city hall. Has great outside seating! They are a bit on the pricey side,$65 for two entrees. Definitely check it out

This was a cute brunch spot I stopped at in Toronto while walking around the city. They had some fun options like breakfast poutine which was really delicious! The tacos were flavorful as well. We also had a smoothie which was nothing special, similar to something I could have made at home. Service was a little slow but all of our items came out perfect.

This restaurant was close to our hotel. A little hard to find but t once we did, were greeted by good service and food. Portion size was generous. Everything was delicious. Would recommend.

Located just outside Eaton Centre. I was greeted by a lovely team member who introduced his name and he was very attentive. I ordered Avocado Smash, Orange Juice and an Espresso.

Expensive, cold, and slow Been in Toronto a few days and this place took the longest to bring the food out. When we got the food everything looked good but as you could tell in the photos my omelette was cold and so was my family's avocado toast Benedict.

Ladies & gentlemen, this place is fyyyyyyye! While in Toronto for the Usher concert, the lady and I stumbled upon Eggspectation. Located just outside the Eaton Center, Eggspectation is a downtown eatery with ample indoor seating along with a decent sized patio. The ambiance gives of cheek, brunchers brunch spot with a trendy flare. The menu has a few specialities, along with some all days every day faves. After some review of the menu, I went with the breakfast tacos and my ohhhhh my, they did not disappoint! A combination of chorizo, bacon, and sausage along with potatoes, egg, avocado and some sort of lime cream . These joints were banging. They also didn't skimp on the portions! The misses went with the chicken and waffles, however didn't really care for it as the chicken was very bland. She tried to replace it however management didn't allow. Outside of management not working with us to change out an order, Eggspectation should be a spot to try if in the downtown area. I certify the breakfast tacos!

EGGSPECTATION . . Is it just me or does brunch taste better on a Sunday? Its been a while since we went to @eggspectationca . So long that I didn't even know they renovated?! I loved the new interior and the new vibe. It was very pretty. I also believe they expanded their menu which is nice. . . Eggspectations crepe 3.75/5 Eggstravaganza 4/5 . . Food is always consistently yummy here which I love. I usually go for the classic eggs benedict but decided to try the crepe this time. It was good, but it just didn't hit the spot like an eggs benedict would (iykyk).

This was a great choice for breakfast. The service and food was excellent. I recommend the smoked salmon benny. My waiter Jerryld did a great job. The atmosphere is very casual. Would definitely recommend!

Overall the restaurant looks extremely nice and trendy. Great bar area with TVs. The waitress we had was very kind. Tropical Smoothie was very good and had a great orange flavor. The breakfast tacos were large and great to share amongst two people. They were loaded with various meats and toppings. Highly recommend

Enjoying the beautiful weather and delish experience here! Come on down! Or, up!

This cafe is small and while I was there it was definitely a tight squeeze. Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

However, when i got off the elevator, there were 3 hosts at the stand, heads down or when their heads were up, they were talking to each other just total ignoring me. Dont even acknowledged me a tiny bit. I ended up just ignoring them back and walk in as my party was already here. I didnt exactly know where they were seated, ao i had to look around. Not the best experience. Food wise -- nothing on the menu stood out. But I wouldn't say we picked this spot for their food. Drinks were at best mid for the price. Could definitely get a nice fancy cocktail at that price point. Service was lacking, had to constantly look for our server. Table beside us was a couple whom were also not happy. But again, come for the views.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. This is absolutely a place worth coming back to…read more I stopped into The Morning After Café in downtown Toronto for breakfast and ended up staying a while to get some work done. From the moment I walked in, the vibe felt welcoming and relaxed. When I arrived it was not too busy, but it steadily picked up, and it was clear that people genuinely enjoy being there. I started with the Flying Unicorn, which was creative and delicious. It is a latte-style drink with a shot and Lucky Charms, and it was both fun and surprisingly well balanced. Definitely not just a gimmick. You can tell thought went into the menu. It took me a bit to decide what to eat because everything sounded good, but I landed on the chicken and waffles and it did not disappoint. The food was flavorful, comforting, and beautifully presented. This is elevated comfort food done right. The service and management were first rate. Everyone was attentive and friendly without being overly formal or pretentious. One of the staff members even chatted with me for a few minutes, and it felt more like catching up with a friend than a transactional interaction. That kind of warmth really stands out, especially when you are new in town. The atmosphere was lively and fun, the bathrooms were clean, and the overall concept was executed really well. Their "f*ck hangovers" tagline fits perfectly. This is the kind of place where you can enjoy great food, creative drinks, mimosas, and a relaxed social vibe all in one spot. Great food, great service, great energy. I cannot wait to go back.
