Went for breakfast on a weekday. Busy but got a table right away. We had the berry crepe and Mexican skillet ( don't remember exact name) Food was good. Skillet was a bit too salty. Smoothie was very good. Service was great until the end when our server disappeared.

For a busy weekend (mother's day) the wait time wasn't as long as expected. Staff was lovely and the food was good even tho it wasn't what i ordered (it was loud so don't think the server hear me correctly). They have a flight of ciders so that was a nice surprise. There's multiple locations as well.

The food here was decent- I would say no different than typical diner food, but with a broader menu. Our food also came out very quickly, which was a plus. However, we never saw our waitress again after taking our order, which made it hard for us to ask for water or pay the bill (which took 15 minutes). Once we flagged someone down it worked out, but I think we were forgotten for a time there.

Great brunch spot in the downtown area! We arrived shortly after 1pm. It was already packed. It was about a half hour wait for Sunday brunch. So we walked around St Lawrence Market to kill time. When our table was finally ready, we ordered the matcha latte, breakfast poutine and fried chicken and waffles. These were all so good! Would definitely come back again.

Food was great. Make a resy because it gets busy. Unfortunately, they don't accept them on the weekends. I added my name to the waitlist before arriving & was sat immediately.

Really enjoyed our experience at OEB for brunch today! At first I was super stressed by the fact that there are no weekend reservations. I was constantly checking wait times on both yelp and google, as well as going back and forth between this place and another that did offer reservations. However, the yelp waitlist system worked in our favour and our table was ready upon arrival! Food is very tasty and beautifully plated. Tons of options, almost overwhelming! But something for everyone. The service wasn't exactly with a smile-- I get it, you're busy, it's a lot. No one came to check on us and see how the food was, but luckily we didn't really need anything (except pepper, but we moved on haha).

Rough morning, zero sleep, no breakfast, running late -- I needed comfort food and fast (technically it was lunch, but who's counting?). A quick Yelp check pointed me to this spot a brisk eight-minute walk from Queen Station on Yonge, and I'm so glad I made the detour instead of heading to one of my usual haunts. I was seated immediately. The place has lots of seating -- high tops, tables and booths -- and a cool, eclectic vibe: comfy chairs, interesting wall photos, eggshell light fixtures and cheerful yolk‑yellow and orange tones. Big glass windows make it a fun people‑watching spot, and the open kitchen lets you see the cooks hustling away. I ordered the classic breakfast (just over $18): two scrambled eggs -- soft and perfect -- plus herb potatoes fried in beef tallow (I swapped those for lightly dressed artisan greens). You choose your protein -- bacon, Canadian bacon, rosemary ham, chicken, or pork bangers -- and I went with the hardwood‑smoked bacon: three perfectly cooked slices. Coffee was ethically sourced, and my mochaccino hit the sweet spot -- not too sugary. All in all 10 out of 10. I plan to try their gluten free waffle next time. Extras worth noting: they offer booze, smoothies, juices, and a $4.75 "coffee bump" (1 oz of Irish cream, Kahlúa, whiskey, bourbon, brandy, or Grand Marnier). Eggs are free‑run. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable -- got me in and out without feeling rushed, back at my desk before 1 pm. I'll definitely be back -- next time with friends so I have an excuse to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a well‑made, comforting breakfast-anytime (and possibly a legal excuse for a midday coffee bump).

Reliable brunch! Quiet spot for a weekday Benny. Large menu with lots of option -- fast service. No complaints! Definitely get some hot sauce if you like it hawt

Visiting from California and found this breakfast spot. Parking situation luckily had a small lot because street parking was limited. Restaurant was pretty large, well lit, very clean. Staff sat us immediately, was friendly and got food out timely. Food tasted good, had never tried blueberry sausage and those potatoes are a must! The pancakes and syrup were also very good ! Portions were bigger as I had potatoes and pancakes left over. My husband said the omelette he got was too greasy unfortunately but everything else was good.

This might have been one of the best breakfasts ever. We shared a confit de canard, subbing out the Asiago for cheese curds. Delish!!!! Our son got the traditional breakfast. The menu had so many amazing choices,'it was hard to choose. We saw pancakes walking by and they looked fabulous too. Can't wait to come back!!!

On arrival, even though later in the morning, there was still a few people waiting to be seated. We had to wait about 20mins to be seated which wasn't bad. On the day we visited, the restaurant was offering free hot chocolates with writing a message on a post it note. That was a nice touch. Korean Bulgogi Benny: Eggs and meat was good, however, the sauce that is served with this was not enjoyable. It was sweet and not tasty nor was it a good fit for the dish. Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich: The meat serving was good and the fries were over seasoned. The bread was dry and falling apart. Baked Apple Griddle Stack: The pancakes were nice and fluffy with a little crispness which was nice. The apple topping was really sweet. This took away from the enjoyment of the meal. Deep Fried Pierogies: These were good and enjoyable. Overall it was just OK. I don't know if I would go and line up for this food again. If you just want brunch, then this place is adequate. Maybe the other choices they offer is what is bringing the people in.

    crab o reilly

The crab o reilly I ordered came with overcooked eggs. We also ordered avacado toast with a poached egg which was also overcooked. The fries were superb but everything else is lacking.

    Interior space. Trendy no?

This is a trendy little place that's boozy brunch options make it fun! The menu is full of fun options including "gold dust". It was a busy morning but we were seated fairly quickly and the food looked and tasted delicious. Definitely a fun breakfast place. Try it!

Food and service are both excellent. The bulgogi eggs benedict is my favourite. Highly recommended!

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

Not the best experience. Food wise -- nothing on the menu stood out. But I wouldn't say we picked this spot for their food. Drinks were at best mid for the price. Could definitely get a nice fancy cocktail at that price point. Service was lacking, had to constantly look for our server. Table beside us was a couple whom were also not happy. This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. That's clearly the vibe they're going for, but you should know ahead. A bit funny that part of the restaurant theme is curing a hangover from the night before when they have music at club volume, but whatever. And the DJ wasn't just putting music on shuffle either or just playing old hits, so at least there was effort. I split with someone else and tried the smoked salmon eggs benedict which had hollandaise with beet mixed in (hence the colour). It was really good and my only regret is waiting a few minutes to try it since I started with the pancakes first (more on that), but it meant the egg cooled down. But that's on me. I liked the hashbrowns too and the house salad. The pancakes with blueberry compote and lemon ricotta were amazing. Loved the texture, the quality and lightness of the ricotta and I always love lemon with blueberries. Will definitely get this again. Just keep in mind with the music (at least on Saturdays) this place really isn't suited for families - whether that be younger children (and music was fully explicit) or parents/grandparents either.
