Very attentive and after breakfast when she realized we wanted to hang out and talk there was no pressure to leave. I had eggs florentine and it was pretty good. Spinach was not wet, which is a big problem in many places. I could have done with a touch more lemon in the hollandaise but that's a me issue. The sides were great. A little dressing on the greens and the home fries were not overly salty but full of crispy goodness. My friend had eggs over medium and they were perfect. They have a variety of breakfast options to choose from such as Benedict's, omelettes, pancakes, and more. I opted in for the omelette and I would say the portions are quite generous. My friend thought so too as well. This place is also really busy so I would recommend coming early before close to make sure you get a seat. Stopped for a bite to eat while on a long layover at Toronto Pearson Airport. It's only a 10 minute or so drive from the airport, so it was a convenient way to get a change of scenery for a bit. The food was pretty good, but the service stood out as excellent. I ordered the enchiladas suizas which was categorized with their breakfast platters, though it was not a traditional western style breakfast. The enchiladas themselves were tasty and filled with most and flavorful shredded chicken. The refried beans were a bit different from the type I am used to eating in the States but I enjoyed the meal overall. The restaurant is in a strip mall just off a busy road. Despite the generic exterior and surroundings, the atmosphere inside is pleasant and well decorated. The space seemed clean and was not overly crowded when we were there, around 8:00 AM on a Saturday. The best part of the experience was the service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He routinely checked in on us and refilled drinks. On the occasions that he was busy, other staff members stopped at our table to also check in. Overall, the food was good, but pretty standard. Being from the Southwest (Nevada) I always try the local huevos rancheros, and this was dee-licious! The red sauce was good and spicy and the green sauce more mild. It came with tasty shredded chicken on the side. I have not seen that before, but it was a great add. Next time I will ask for more red sauce, it was that good. It was a special request via UberEats and the instructions were followed perfectly. She didn't like the home fries and agreed that they had a colder odd texture. All in all we were impressed with Sunny Morning's breakfast. Well, I was dying to come back, after 5 long months of shut down! But. Things have changed. I know that COVID-19 has been difficult for business. But this is not a brand new one, with one location, struggling to survive either, ya know? The menu is much smaller, which I expected, most restaurants have done a more limited menu until they see how business is, I get that. But they've increased pricing and, in some cases, reduced what you get, compared to the same thing before COVID-19. For example, I got Eggs Benedict. Used to get home fries and a salad. Unfortunately, they've reduced the sides to one only, but no one even tells you..... And many of us are returning customers who would expect 2 sides. I would have ordered a different item had I been advised. I had to chase coffee down both times too. I don't know...... I'm really going to have to think about this. read more

Pretty satisfying brunch experience. Husband and I got her around 10:30am (Saturday) and there was already a line. There were about three parties in front of us and we only had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. The initial impression of this place is a cleaner, smaller version of Denny's. But the food is so much better! We ordered a Freddy's caramel waffle and Popeye scramble (spinach, feta cheese, tomato). The food came out surprisingly fast considering how many people were there. I think we only waited about ten minutes for our food after we put our order in. The caramel waffle LOOKED super sweet, but it was wasn't as sweet as we thought. The waffle was fluffy and there was a generous amount of bananas topped on it too. The portion of the scramble was quite big. It came with a side of choice (we picked potatoes) and four slices of toast. It wasn't as greasy as a lot of the omelettes and scrambles I've had at breakfast places. It's a clean modern breakfast place. We went around noon so thank goodness we didn't have to wait in line. The tables can be small if one orders a lot. The service was good and the food came out quicker than anticipated. My veggie omelette came with toast and home fries which are not fried. However, if you want to sub for fruits it's gonna cost you. Whereas other breakfast place (like Cora's) already has plenty of fruits included in most dishes. The omelette was full of veggies which is nice to see. The disappointment was the potatoes which was soft and too dark for my liking. I've had better breakfast potatoes, like at Panagio's. My partner had egg Benedict with smoked salmon and he said it was alright. Nothing big stood out. He did mention that Bistro Narra knows how to do their Benedict right!
