Was in the area here and decided to grab some breakfast at Sunny Morning! It was my first time and I really liked the place! They have a variety of breakfast options to choose from such as Benedict's, omelettes, pancakes, and more. I opted in for the omelette and I would say the portions are quite generous. My friend thought so too as well. This place is also really busy so I would recommend coming early before close to make sure you get a seat. It is also located in a plaza with other establishments near by as well. Overall, staff were very friendly and the location was super easy to find. I would recommend this place for some good breakfast if you're in Etobicoke/Toronto!

Gord and I had some errands to run and we stopped in today at Sunny Morning for breakfast ... it's been a while since we've been there. We both bacon ' n eggs. Gord had his with fruit and I had mine with home fries. Yum!

The entire family loved the food. It was all so good and the staff's service is beyond excellent!

Totally googled 'breakfast' when wanting to meet our friends in the middle between the city and Mississauga. So it was a bit closer to them, but that's alright .... Located at Lakeshore and East mall, this was a great find! Regular breakfast fare, average pricing, pretty good service and food was tasty. Would come again!

Stopped for a bite to eat while on a long layover at Toronto Pearson Airport. It's only a 10 minute or so drive from the airport, so it was a convenient way to get a change of scenery for a bit. The food was pretty good, but the service stood out as excellent. I ordered the enchiladas suizas which was categorized with their breakfast platters, though it was not a traditional western style breakfast. The enchiladas themselves were tasty and filled with most and flavorful shredded chicken. The refried beans were a bit different from the type I am used to eating in the States but I enjoyed the meal overall. The restaurant is in a strip mall just off a busy road. Despite the generic exterior and surroundings, the atmosphere inside is pleasant and well decorated. The space seemed clean and was not overly crowded when we were there, around 8:00 AM on a Saturday. The best part of the experience was the service. Our server was very friendly and attentive. He routinely checked in on us and refilled drinks. On the occasions that he was busy, other staff members stopped at our table to also check in. Overall, the food was good, but pretty standard. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a solid brunch and want to stay close to the airport.

This place was exactly what I needed before heading back to America. I tried some of the other cuisine and it was nice to have the comforts of home this morning. The service was fast and friendly. The food was food. Potatoes were seasoned to perfection and crispy, waffles had a good mix of crunch and fluffiness and were so good with the maple syrup. I would go back here time and time again. It was like a regular diner so you can dress down and feel comfortable enjoying this wonderful food. This place owes me nothing!!!

First off, the service was excellent. Everyone we encountered was professional, friendly and very helpful. Being from the Southwest (Nevada) I always try the local huevos rancheros, and this was dee-licious! The red sauce was good and spicy and the green sauce more mild. It came with tasty shredded chicken on the side. I have not seen that before, but it was a great add. Next time I will ask for more red sauce, it was that good. The rest of the family had the traditional eggs benny, which was cooked perfectly, but the Hollandaise sauce was a bit bland, it was just okay. We would definitely return and try more items on the menu.

The size of French toasts are big. Each of us left one. We loved home fries, bacon and sausage. The sweet dream loaded with plenty of banana and straw berry. Plan to visit again tomorrow to try something else. Waitresses and waiters were all friendly

Standard breakfast convenient location. Parking spots. Great option for people in this area. Unfortunately the menu is too boring for me. I didn't choose this place. My friends picked this for convenience. As soon as I saw the menu, I knew I would hover around 3-4 star rating. As someone who likes to cook and try brunch the menu is quite vanilla. My bacon wasn't crispy, just tasted like a salty stick. No thanks. Gimme crispy bacon pls. Whites were slightly undercooked and slimy. Not too bad. Home fries are great Service was terrific. But this place doesn't excite me enough to give it higher ratings. 3.5 stars

When you're in Canada, you got to get a meal with authentic Canadian maple syrup! I was looking for a place to grab some good comfort food for brunch or lunch. We used Yelp and found out this location! With 200+ reviews with an average of a 4.5-Star rating on Yelp, we decided to dine at "Sunny Morning Breakfast & Lunch" in Toronto. Based on the photos & people's recommendations, we got the Sweet Dream Waffle & French Toast. It comes with fresh strawberries & bananas, toasted almonds, drizzled with nutellla, and topped with real whipped cream. OMG it was so good! Ignore the nutritional facts, but it's okay to indulge when you're on vacation. Their prices were justifiable for the fresh fruit & portions that came with their meal. I would totally come back here the next time I'm back in Toronto. Just looking at my old photos are making me hungry for them again!

Their food is amazing. We asked them to serve us something vegetarian which would include potato wedges, waffle and pancakes and they did serve it in an amazingly delicious way. The ambiance of the restaurant is really calm, the patio during summers is really captivating. The staff is really friendly we loved our brunch so much. It is added in our go to places for brunch.

A typical basic breakfast place.. although I had limited items to pick from. It was good but nothing over the moon. But you can't go wrong with eggs and bacon.

This is a great breakfast place! Close to the Costco location, it's a great choice to stop by before doing your Costco runs. They have a great selection of breakfast/brunch items, from fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, to omelettes and burgers. Their prices are affordable and portion sizes are massive. The home fries are perfectly cooked with a fluffy inside with a crunchy exterior. Eggs can be cooked to your preference, and you can select brown or white toast with or without butter. Service is friendly. The coffee is free refills, and comes with a bowl of milk, cream, sugar. There is indoor and outdoor seating right now.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.
