Saturday morning breakfast at stacked? Hell yes! After much anticipation my husband and I finally decided to try this place out. Looked small on the outside but don't let that fool you as there is a bit more seating in the back. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and a menu with endless options?? I was quite happy with the selections. I opt for the beef hash which was on their seasonal menu. Consists of home fries, gravy, carrots, celery, beef and topped with two eggs of your choice it was so good. My husband got the Mexican omelet and it was delicious. We got the NY strawberry cheesecake pancakes to share and it was overkill ( in a good way) fluffy, yummy and filling, I was super happy. Only thing I would say is the coffee was pretty average but everything else would make me come back to try other items on the menu.

I wasn't sure about SP&BH at first - but the quality service made me a fan. The shop had a relaxed vibe at the time of my visit. I will take relaxed and slower over packed and hurried EVERY TIME. The thing that made me a fan is a small error followed by a quick correction. My order included 3 eggs and the server asked my preference and assured me they could accommodate it, it was a bit funny when my eggs arrived prepared differently -- but no biggie - minor preference anyway. But a few minutes in a server approached with another serving of eggs prepared as requested and explained the mix up. And this is what I appreciate the most in a business -- mistakes will always be made -- how they're corrected is what will always leave an impression. And on this SP&BH is winning.

I've been wanting to come here ever since I landed and I'm happy I did! The food here was absolutely delicious and very beautiful to look at and I'd recommend going here for extremely affordable breakfast! Food: [4/5] NY Cheesecake pancake [5/5]: Not only were these beautiful to look at they were also wonderful when it came to taste. They were sweet and savory and the drizzle on top of the pancakes was such a great addition to it. Berry French Toast [5/5]: It was very delicious and also nice to look at. I wanted another breakfast item to go alongside the pancakes so I decided to get the berry french toast and I don't regret it at all. Was it better than the pancakes? No, but it was still very good and worth trying. California Burger / Fries [2/5]: It was ok.. Edible but wouldn't recommend. Me and my aunt felt like there was a lot going on with the burger. Mixture of flavors also the patty looked like it was boiled. We asked our server how it was made and she it was grilled and they make all their patties by hand but maybe because it was an hour to closing we got a nasty older patty it was also very tasteless. We didn't enjoy it to be honest. The fries were also soggy and greasy. Very disgusting fries honestly I ate probably 3-4. The meal wasn't good. Service [5/5]: Friendly and fast service. Not much else to say the restaurant wasn't that busy and she checked up on us every so often. Ambiance: [4/5]: Normal looking place. Reminded me a lot of iHop. Could use some more decor but not really bad. Overall, If you're going to a place with "pancake and breakfast house" in the title it should be obvious to stick to just breakfast and nothing else. The place is extremely affordable given the food you're getting and its also filling as well. I'd recommend checking this place out.

I had to post today's great pancakes and breakfast while here in Toronto. If you're in the city stop by Stacked Pancake and Breakfast and you have to have the namesake Pancakes. Which ever ones you want as they are all likely great as we know from the two we tried. The homemade whip cream is some of the best I have had on these fluffy, golden brown pillows. That and the homemade strawberry jam is something you won't forget anytime soon. Loved the pancake and the heavenly hash made with real corn beef. They load it with potato's, peppers, onions and perfectly cooked eggs. The buffalo chicken eggs Benedict was unique and like nothing I have seen before with hot honey and buffalo sauce. Happy we found this little gem. Also servers were friendly and food was served in short time. Busy place so be sure to get on waitlist as you head there way.

I thought blueberry pancakes were a thing in Toronto. Google pics looked good, so I stopped by. Starting from the beginning of stepping into the restaurant, the server was really attentive. Throughout the meal, she would check on my coffee and provided refills. The blueberry pancakes were really good. I should have asked for butter on the side because they were very generous with that. It was too much for me. Lots of options on the menu here. The bathroom was through the closed door and down the dark stairs. Credit card/apple pay accepted. (Also posted on Google)

I had lunch yesterday at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House ... they just opened in the fall. I ordered blueberry pancakes and milk for lunch. They were good and it was a big serving and I couldn't finish them. They were good but the brushing of cinnamon was an odd touch and I could have done without it (I don't know if it was intentional). Brianna was friendly and took good care of me.

Traveling from the States we were looking for a good breakfast spot with a large group of 10Plus people, this place was accommodating. The staff was nice! The food was good especially the House potatoes!!! Highly recommend !

Alright, I'll bite and give this place a review! So far so good for this newish franchise chain. It took several weeks to get this location in Queen West up and running but now it's going great guns. The menu is basic breakfast with pancakes being their signature dish. This is not the typical kind of restaurant in Toronto, with pancakes being on plenty of diner menus, but not the centre of attention. I had the blueberry topped pancakes, which was a massive portion and kept me going all day! In fact even though I was hungry, I had a hard time finishing it all. This is basic diner food, with no real twists or elevating attempted which was nice and refreshing. We were there shortly after opening and the place got busy with a lineup in the doorway in November. They took our number and we wandered around the corner for a coffee. Shortly we were called and scrambled back for our table. Inside the interior is bright and cheery. Everything came out quickly and we were all happy with our orders. For my taste, I prefer some butter melted on top of a stack of pancakes, but since these came out not hot enough for melt butter, I didn't bother. In hindsight I would have ordered bacon to add some (salty) variety to the flavour. With this much pancake there is a need to accompany it with other textures. If I were making them myself, I would make them smaller and stack them higher, but maybe that's just me. Check it out if you're in the mood for pancakes, and the other trad brekkies look good to try as well.

Food is good but wait time is long (more than 40 mins). Kitchen is slow for breakfast menu items so tables are not turned around quickly, causing long wait time. If you want decent breakfast it is a good place but not likely to visit again.

Our table 30 minutes in ...

So I've been here a few times and normally I really enjoy this place. But today we go in and are seated almost immediately but then they ignore us for 20 minutes. It took me talking to the hostess who seated us. She ended up being our server from that point forward instead of the waitress who was assigned to the area we were seated. Not a great experience especially when the waitress who was assigned gave us dirty looks. But thanks Shania for trying to make it up to us

Cinnamon roll pancakes -- not just a flavor or ingredient; they actually come apart like a cinnamon roll!
    Michael Z.

So good! Everything on the menu looks great. I had the cinnamon roll pancakes (not just a flavor -- they can actually come apart in a swirl like a real roll) and they were amazing. I was seated in the window and when people walked by to look at the menu, I was glad to give an enthusiastic "thumbs up" to let them know it would be a great choice.

    Pancake Cinnabon

The place has good sitting capacity and good ambiance. The service was superb! The staffs were amazing they know exactly everything in the menu. They have big amount of serving (almost good for 2, depending how hungry you are!) Stacked Scarborough the place to go for breakfast in the East!

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.

This small little bake shop had a menu hanging up, but I completely ignored it thanks to the baked goods right behind the counter that I was too busy staring at. I knew right away that I was going to order a Chocolate Croissant because, well, I always order a Chocolate Croissant if one is available. After making my first choice, this strange little baked good caught my eye, and it turned out to be something called a Cruffin.......a Cruffin you say? What is a cruffin? WELL, let me tell you. The cruffin is basically like a muffin, but like, with cheese and pepperoni on it so obviously I hate to order that sexy little bad boy right away. This thing wasn't big, but it was very dense and basically tasted like pizza crust which was absolutely delicious. After eating the cruffin, the Chocolate Croissant seemed way less cool but I ate it anyway. It tasted good and the chocolate was actually spread across the whole thing so they get an even bigger thumbs up for doing it right. Overall, COBS Bread was the spot! I had no idea this was a chain, but who cares, this place was great. I really liked the Cruffin I got and the croissant was really good as well. I will absolutely be revisiting COBS Bread when I come back to Canada and devouring a few more cruffins while I'm at it!

I've had their cheese pullapart loafs as well as danishes previously before, however, this time I was at the store for a free cinnamon bun as it was a free birthday reward for being a member of their Cobs Club. The cashier was friendly and asked if I wanted either a cinnamon bun with icing or plain. I opted for a cinnamon bun with icing and she put it in a box for me before handing it over. During my time at the store the place had a steady flow of customers, coming in to buy baked goods. My cinnamon bun was big and tasted great! I heated it up a bit when I got home. You can really feel the care and personality behind the space, which added so much to the overall visit. We tried a variety of items, but the Pizza Caesar Wrap was easily the standout and our favourite thing we ate. Crispy, cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with flavour. Even better, $3 from every wrap goes toward supporting Daily Bread Food Bank through their $30,000 fundraising campaign, which made ordering it feel even more worthwhile. We also really enjoyed the Spicy Ham & Cheese, which had the perfect balance of spicy, creamy, salty, and savoury flavours. The Gourmet French Hot Dog was another highlight with its sweet and savoury flavour combination wrapped in a buttery, flaky croissant. The Four Seasons sandwiches were a fun concept inspired by the Blue Jays, and while the Chef's Choice wasn't our personal favourite, some people at our table enjoyed it more than we did. For dessert, all of the cookies were freshly baked in-house and surprisingly good for a grab-and-go style spot. The double chocolate chip was rich and soft, and the white chocolate cranberry and macadamia cookies were both solid classics. The iced matcha latte with oat milk paired especially well with them, and the iced vanilla latte was smooth and easy to drink. The space itself is bright and open with big windows that bring in lots of natural light during the day. Seating is cozy, but the layout still feels spacious and comfortable overall. Overall, a playful comfort food spot that offers catering with genuinely friendly service, creative menu items, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

I'm going to continue with my overtime take out review series with Sandwich Box. You would think making a sandwich is probably not the most complicated task out there, but this place seems to get it all wrong. My order consisted of an egg salad sandwich on whole grain bread with a side salad. When I received it, I only got the sandwich and the restaurant failed to tell me the salad was no longer included in the combo (yet the price remained the same). That's great that the online menu was not updated to include items no longer available, a simple update would address all these problems knowmsayin? Now on to the actual sandwich, the bread was thick. I mean so thick it looked like there was about a half an inch of eggs inside of two encyclopedias worth of bread. The eggs themselves, totally flavorless and bland. Kinda hard to mess up an egg salad sandwich right? Even Tim Horton's can get that right! To make things short and sweet, I'll be looking over this option the next time I'm working late or considering a sandwich in the downtown area.
