Let me begin by saying that I have been using Egle Alterations for quite some time and have always been happy with their work. However, they recently went above and beyond for my mother and I. We had a wedding to go to and needed her suit tailored STAT but when we walked in there they were slammed with prom dresses (prom season). It was a Tuesday and we needed it done by Saturday. I also dropped off a bridesmaid dress and 2 pairs of pants that I would not need until the end of the month (a good 3 weeks). They promised that the suit would be done in time and that was good enough for us. When we went to pick it up, my bridesmaid dress and 2 pants were done also! They rushed up that process as well because they knew I had to head back up to Gainesville. Totally unexpected and appreciated. They will absolutely be getting more of my business when I am down south in the future. The work was quality and the mother/daughter duo could not have been kinder and more professional. Outraged! I would love to speak with the owner. They destroyed my Santa Suit just in time for Christmas. I have a beautiful top-of-the-line Santa suit which I have cleaned every year for the last three years at another dry-cleaners. So far no problems but this time for convenience I brought it to Egle Valet Cleaners on sample Road. I brought it in on December 4 and Gabriel at the counter was very friendly. I left the suit, the pants and even the hat so everything would be nice and fresh for this year's Santa visits. Two days later I picked up the suit, brought it home, and put it in the closet for my first run of Santas this past weekend. When I took the suit out of the protective plastic I noticed that all the white fur trim had turned a light pink. I was horrified since one of my gigs was at Chick-fil-A and the other was at Boost Mobile. I had no choice so I had to wear the suit as it was. The pink really looked very pink against my white Santa beard and the white fur trim of my boots. I was so embarrassed wearing a Santa suit for these corporate clients that that I'm sure did not live up to their expectations. Not knowing whether they could fix it or not the following day I ordered a replacement Santa suit for $65 so if they were unable to fix it I would have a backup. The moment the new suit arrived I took the damage suit back to the cleaners, explained what had happened, and asked them what they would do about it. While they remained polite, as did I, they explained that they are not responsible for manufacturer defects. I explained that I had had it dry clean three times before without this problem and that they must have done something wrong. All they would do is reiterate that they are not responsible for manufacturer defects and that the other three times the dry-cleaner probably didn't clean it but just "blew it out". I explained to them that I had purchased a new $65 suit because they had ruined the old one and had actually paid them $16 to destroy my beautiful suit. Again all they would do was tell me that they are not responsible for manufacturer's defects. I told him I would have no choice but to leave negative reviews and tell everyone what I have been through and their only response was that they are not responsible for manufacturer's defects. My guess is that they laundered the suit rather than dry-cleaning and much like putting a red sock in your white laundry at home turned the whites pink. The fact that they would not own up to the mistake, offered to replace the suit, or even offered to refund my $16 is what really upsets me. Needless to say I will never return there again and hopefully my review will save other people the disappointment of having their fine clothes destroyed. read more

My Daughters prom is this May and she picked a very formal dress almost like a wedding dress as she wanted to feel like a princess :) I went to two places in coral springs one wanted 400 and the other one wanted 250 FOR A HEM ! I was beside myself .. sooo I Have seen Egle cleaners on sample forever and decided to stop by and get a quote .. I did not reveal what the other seamstress's had quoted me as I had a good feel they were ripping me off . Well Egle cleaners were sooooo fair and charged me 84 dollars as that was a very reasonable price for the job . It came out PERFECT ! Thank you so much Egle cleaners for being honest and not taking advantage of your customers who don't have that kind of money . I brought in 2 dresses to get altered, mind you, they were options for my wedding dress. First unprofessional thing I encountered was she told me to come pick up the first dress on a certain day, so I drove 40 minutes there to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I even tried calling the store all morning before I drove there and she never answered the phone. That same day I showed her another dress I wanted altered and she made it clear that she understood what I wanted and she will have it done and ready to be picked up with the first dress the following week. Today I went to pick up my dresses and tried them both on, she totally ruined one of them, I now have to order a new one. The other dress, looked like nothing was even done, it still didn't fit me right, the only thing you noticed that was different was that the neck line didn't sit flat anymore and there was a thick hem you could see through the straps. I am so upset, my wedding is in 1 month! Oh, and to top it off, this lady had the nerve to tell me one of the dresses was too tight for me anyways! So incompetent an unprofessional! DO NOT go to Egle Alterations to have anything altered! TRUST ME! read more
