I felt like she offered me treatments that suited me without trying to upsell me on something that didn't treat the root issue. I'll be back for sure. This was hands down one of the best Botox experiences I've ever had! My appointment was quick and seamless, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The office is spotless and beautifully decorated, and the front desk team is so organized and welcoming. My nurse injector was absolutely amazing, she took the time to ask what I usually like, carefully marked everything out, and her technique was so gentle. I was looking for a place to get Botox that was closer to my house . The place I usually go to is in Walnut Creek but since I live in Modesto now that is way too far . My friend recommended Modesto Aesthetics. She has had treatment here and loves it!! Ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. One lady I forgot to get her name walked me through the check in process. I had to fill out some health questionnaire since I didn't do before visit then I had to go in a room and get medical clearance from a nurse through FaceTime or zoom . It was on a iPad . Once I was cleared I was told to wait upstairs. Once in the room I met Melanie & her assistant. Both were very nice and easy to talk. Melanie was very knowledgeable. I explained what I was looking for and she knew exactly what to do. It's been a couple days and I'm already loving the results! I look forward to coming back and getting filler . read more

Warning: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! I want to begin by saying that I attempted to resolve this privately--I called twice and sent two emails with no response--before turning to Yelp. Unfortunately, Modesto Aesthetics & Laser seems more focused on sales than on genuine customer care or professional service. I initially visited them because of large pores and noticeable skin aging, especially as I navigate menopause. I was hopeful and excited when they recommended the Morpheus8 treatment, and I began almost immediately. After the first session, I wasn't expecting dramatic results, but I also saw zero improvement after 30 days. At my second appointment, I was seen by a different technician, who immediately told me the first session hadn't gone deep enough. She promised to adjust the depth to provide "maximum benefit." What I wasn't told is that improper technique can actually remove collagen--and that's exactly what happened. The result? One side of my face is now visibly puffier and larger than the other. Shocked and upset, I contacted the clinic again--no reply. I sought advice from another licensed professional, who explained this outcome can happen with undertrained technicians and that I would now need additional treatments to attempt to even out the damage. Again, I reached out--not for a full refund, but simply to request a refund for the unused third session and to share what had happened. I received no acknowledgment, no apology, and no effort to make things right. Please, if you're considering aesthetic treatments, look elsewhere. You deserve an establishment that genuinely cares, employs trained professionals, and offers treatments that are both safe and effective. I'm now paying thousands more to correct the damage caused by what I consider to be a 1-star clinic. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Modesto Aesthetics and Laser! The facility is very clean and comfortable. The people were super nice and helpful and put me at ease since I was a little nervous. Melanie Dabe assisted me with the Botox and cheek filler I was there for. It's been about a week and I'm super happy with the results! My Botox is just how I prefer it, more natural and leaving some eyebrow movement. I had never had filler before so I didn't know what to expect. Melanie made sure I was numb and relaxed and comfortable for the whole treatment! The results are way better than I expected! I use to love this location until they got new nurses giving injections, they are in such a hurry they do not clean the area before injecting, or mark area with a pen before injecting. I understand they may be comfortable doing it this way but I was really freaked out thinking what can happen by them not first cleansing the area before they inject Botox/fillers. I went back after this giving them the benign of the doubt thinking maybe they forgot that one time, but no. Their goal is to get you in and out within 10 min, leaving out important safety steps. I had no reactions thankfully and my Botox did sit right. This is the only place I've been to that has not cleaned area prior to injecting. read more

I went 8 days before starting a new job for Botox. Kelly was rude, condescending and acting like I peed in her Cheerios that morning! and while injecting said,"Yikes this is a dull needle" After she said that, she kept injecting 4 times with the same needle!!!!!!!! This photo was taken ten days after my appointment! This is not my first rodeo with botox and never have I been bruised for TWO WEEKS after! Concealer would not hide it. I have been coming here for years, and the staff is always so confused, I had an appointment this morning & planned to be there at my given time, but someone called me late telling me I actually needed to be there an hour before hand to numb. So I wasn't able to make that time, and had to cancel my appointment. Then the staff tells me I actually didn't need to numb for an hour. I then received a call saying I've cancelled several times (within the span of being a customer for YEARS and need to now put a deposit down or be charged. I have had nothing but horrible experiences here, and never feel valued as a loyal customer. Jonna was who I would see, and she was amazing, but the staff never knows if you have to sign more paperwork, if you need to numb, ect. My last appointment they switched my practitioner on me within hours notice. Horrible service. read more

I booked an appt over the phone for botox. I am not new to botox but am new to this provider. I showed up for my appt this morning and was simply asked "Do you have an appointment?" with no good morning or how are you doing. I filled out my paperwork, which instructed me to eat an entire pineapple the day before the appointment. I thought this was strange, especially when it wasn't listed as a recommendation but literally as an instruction. I was taken back to a room to do a telehealth visit to get cleared for treatment. A blonde girl from the front desk was in the room with me and she squatted on the floor and scrolled through her phone while waiting for the visit to finish. I was cleared, the girl told me "ok you can head upstairs". I looked at her with some confusion since I had never been there before, and she said "oh I can show you where to go". She led me to a hallway and I waited for another 15/20 min. I had booked with Dr Kelly, but was seen by Jonna. At no point was I asked if this was okay, or given an explanation. Jonna asked me where I wanted the botox, I told her I usually get 22 units for my 11s and lateral forehead lines. She told me it was cheaper to do 24 units so she's be doing 24. She did not mark up my face when administering the botox, which was a first for me. It did not feel symmetrical, but it has not kicked in yet so we will see how it looks in a couple weeks. read more

THEY WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY & BOTCH YOU! This was my first time here for lip fillers. I've been getting fillers for 4 years now and never had any issues and my results always came out perfect. I usually go to a different clinic to get my lips done but my usual nurse who would do my lips seems to have retired for the time being. I took a chance here. The office is beautiful and they are professional but as soon as I left the office I was unhappy with my lip filler. I naturally have a bigger bottom lip so I asked to focus on my top lip so that it may match and have a natural look. As the swelling went away I was even more unhappy and very disappointed. I also paid for an entire syringe of filler and I watched the nurse just throw out the syringe with a good amount of filler still inside. Now I have to go somewhere else, spend more money and get my lips fixed to my liking. I'm very sad and disappointed. I don't even see a difference. The only reason I gave two stars was because the office staff, they were friendly, welcoming and as I said professional. UPDATE: Don't even waste your time here. I'm 100% serious!!! I left the review because I was unhappy. I paid a lot of money for them not even to use the entire syringe and do a terrible job on my lips. I'm so UNHAPPY! They reached out for a "follow up" after my last review. I scheduled with them to give them a chance to redeem themselves but I had to cancel because I had COVID unfortunately. When I called back to reschedule this follow up they said "Oh no you can't do a follow up now we would need to schedule you as an appointment for filler" I told them the situation and they said a manager would reach out to me. Never did. I called back and the manager is avoiding my calls. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL! I asked when the manager would be available and the girl on the other line said "I don't know in the next few days" so I asked her you don't know when your manager works? Most of the people here are unprofessional and are not able to answer any question that you ask. they will just smile and do nothing. if you look at their instagram pictures you will see no difference in before and after pictures. If I could have given 0 I would have. Daughter and I drove an hour, she had won a lip filler and had a good experience prior so we decided on another service. We arrived at the appointment time, sent to her phone, which was 9:00 first one of the day. We waited 40 minutes before we were seen. All the while the front desk so unorganized trying to redo temp and paperwork they had already check us in. While waiting we observed that a person who checked in much later then us went before us and when we got into the person we were seeing it was the same person coming out of the room. Also observed the gal who did our service arrived about 9:20, not rushed just coming to start her day. We inquired at the desk and were told the person was running a little behind,she didn't come in till after our appointment time. We were told we were at 9:30 showed them our reminder they sent to us and it was 9:00. I was su to have a consult prior to any service done - never happened and yes we saw another person put in the consultation room after we had already inquired about it and yes they arrived after us. I had my first appointment here today and everyone who works here is super nice and super sweet and i had the best customer service experience. Jonna was my injector today and I couldn't be more thrilled with my lips. I am not new to getting my lips done or Botox and have tried another well known medspa in Modesto with less then desirable results. I highly recommend this place- specifically Jonna. Amazing results even with the swelling I have from injections today my lips look the best they ever have! This place is super clean not dirty like the other review mentioned. My wife was recently in so she asked me to write a review for her. She was happy with the staff and covid precautions. They were nice. The only reason no 5 stars is because it was quite dirty she said. And is nervous to go back. If the floors are dirty how does she know that the equipment and everything isn't just as dirty. I just had my last appointment with Joy, she's freakin awesome, my favorite nurse there to zap me so far, (Amanda's my second favorite). Joy was very knowledgeable and if you have brown skin like I do, I would recommend seeing her, since she has brown skin as well. She understands my issues and made sure I didn't get burned! Joy is very meticulous and prides herself on getting every last hair, also she's very talkactive and friendly and makes the appointment go by very quickly.
