There's parking available in the adjacent garage. This is one of those stores that carry stuff you never knew you wanted/needed, like colorful umbrellas or a glass tic tac toe set. Super cute random finds including home goods/decor, glassware, games, puzzles, hand wash, candles, throw pillows, socks, stickers, writing utensils, journals, cards, and more. They have a whole wall of unique and fun cards for various occasions. I found a couple good ones. Prices are reasonable for items you can't find anywhere else. At checkout, you can sign up for their rewards programs. The employee was nice and helped me register. Their website has a list of upcoming events and workshops like a calligraphy class and picnic pairing workshop.

Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable, I asked a lot of questions about their designs and they actually had a conversation with me rather than be annoyed. They knew from the start I would be spending a lot of money but still treated me well. I'm definitely going to use them again for other gifts, and especially since the glass not only looks cool but feels amazing. I love I can feel the A on the glass and it has an expensive weight to it. They have various design options and a lot of different types of glass products to choose from. I am going to use them for my wedding gifts. Seriously check The Chizel out. You won't regret it.

I absolutely love the concept of functional art and at The Chizel, they completely nail this through the etching of glass using the sandblasting technique. When I had my civil ceremony, my friend and officiant gifted us personalized champagne flutes with our initials and wedding date on them. It was such a beautiful and thoughtful gift that I have adopted it when I officiate weddings. Since then, I have ordered personalized champagne flutes multiple times from them and they're a pleasure to work with. They're very responsive, quickly create a design for you to approve and let you know when they're ready for pickup. They also safely wrap them so they won't get damaged and put them in a gift bag for you.

We went on our lunch break one day and I'm so glad I decided to go with her since I'd never been because there is so much cool stuff here! The selection of shirts here with everything from a simple Oklahoma logo to a funny saying about being an Okie or a Tulsan is quite impressive. As a typical souvenir shop, the knick knacks here range from keychains to cups to household items to local products like honey and such. I really enjoyed the selection of locally made items and the variety of colors all over the store. They sell beverages, candies, and other tasty looking items. There were several baby things so if you needed a baby shower gift or gift for a kid this would be a great place to check out. My family and friends that are from Tulsa and Oklahoma are pretty proud to be from here so realistically this is a great place for gifts in general. Would be a fun place to bring a kid too because of all the fun little candies and knick knacks. I have to say I knew they sold shirts here because I've seen people around Tulsa wearing shirts with the Ida Red logo on the back, but I had no idea what to expect when I showed up. The selection and variety did not disappoint! I will be back here for sure for gifts for others (and myself--treat yo self)!

To that end, The Wife suggested we try Ida Red's, since what she knew about the place sorta jived with the vibe I was looking for. We made the trip in and man oh man, is there a lot to choose from. From cool to kitsch, from funny to puzzling, Ida Red's has it all. I will confess to Ida's not being the kind of place I would envision myself shopping at, but that's because I'm old, stodgy and a general curmudgeon. So I was pleasantly surprised and amused with Ida's. Overall, a really neat place with TONS of local craft merchandise. Now that I have a better idea of their offerings, I can plan a trip back, knowing what I'm looking for.

Think bosses, secretaries, children's teachers, etc. i usually end up wandering the store again and again until I settle on a random item. Packaging was divine and came in appropriate old lady scents. They raced about them. For my own bosses during the holidays, light up novelty tumblers and jars of chocolate chip cookies. On this occasion, I came to get a birthday gift for my boss. Personalized items are the best! You can get anything personalized. It shows the person that you took time to get it made, but can still be rather impersonal. Think personalized wine glasses or luggage. Cons: this location was close to my massage place so I came here. It doesn't have parking and I had to walk far to get here. Will definitely just stick to the location closer to my home.

On a Whim carries more up-scale designers. They have clothing, hand bags, shoes, jewelry, baby, and home accents. Also, one of my favorites, On a Whim is one of the few stores in Tulsa to carry Kendra Scott jewelry! The staff is very energetic and always willing to help. It is a very fun store. There is street parking along Peoria, but there is also a large lot behind the store. Again, it is somewhat expensive, but this is the place to find the designer brands. So, you should stop by, On a Whim!
