Today, I had my initial maintenance appointment today. I have bats in my attic that made their way down to my basement and the occasional mouse with which to deal. The two technicians, Isaiah Minnehan and Keith Edwards, were excellent. Beginning in the morning, there was confusion regarding the order of the day's appointments. Isaiah and Keith messaged me multiple times throughout the day keeping me informed of when to expect them. This communication saved the appointment as normally, I would have canceled. When they arrived they were very thorough, professional, efficient, and patient when answering all my questions regarding the process and what to expect. I also want to note that Joe Zukowski, the solution specialist who did the initial inspection, was also very thorough and patient when answering all my questions. When you spend a lot of money, you should have some questions. I have called him several times before the initial maintenance appointment and after. If he was not able to answer the phone, he quickly returned my call. Communication is the key. I hope the good service continues. read more

My apartment complex uses Ehrlich. We had a problem with mud wasps (my nephew dealt with them because it took them too long and they were at my front door), but we still have a hornet issue. They sent a young man 2 months ago that could only treat mosquitos & ticks, he hopes to treat hornets when he passes the test. I have home health that help me with daily living this includes trash/recycling. My home health are allergic & could die if stung. Ehrlich sent a 2nd man that did nothing because the hornets are still at the recycling & dumpster. I am sure a bill was submitted and paid by now. People say "affordable housing" and have a lack of empathy. I say do your job. How many people have these type of people showing up with their hand out but don't do the job? We are moving and require termination of contract. In order to terminate they want to charge a $250 Fee. Highly unethical. The service was mediocre at best, we haven't had so many ticks on our property since we moved in and when we called they didn't show as they said they would. We had to purchase our own fogger to treat our property. Have had Lyme Disease and this was highly important to me. We cannot recommend this company, beware of the smooth talking salespeople only to recieve mediocre services. read more

After charging me a monthly charge of almost $50 each month, my agreement with them was that they would come to my house every 4 months to reset mouse traps etc. And if any problem came up in between those 4 months, they would come to my house. I had a problem with a ground hog. Twice I was told someone would get back to me about it by the end of the day. They did not. On top of that, I waited home all day for one of the four month services, and no one showed up. I sat at home all day waiting. I asked that my last four months of payment be returned to me, and three times I was told someone would get back to me by the end of the day about it. No one ever did. Surprise! I was never called back to close my account. Finally, I got through to someone who could close my account. After closing my account I couldn't get a confirmation number or notification unless she spoke to a district manager. I doubt I'll see anything. I'm hoping it is actually canceled. I understand we are in a pandemic, and everywhere is short staffed and burned out. However, I see this is not a new problem based on older reviews. The only good thing I can say is the people in the call center were very polite and doing they best they could within in their system. tldr: Go somewhere else for your exterminating needs. read more

I have been a customer of this company for quite a long time. Twice, over the last year, I made an appointment for service, and twice they never showed up. The last time was particularly awful. I made the appointment and on that day I called to ask if the technician could text me or call to let me know when they thought they would arrive. I did so because the time frame was between 1 and 5. I never heard from the person and they never showed up. So now I need to find another pest control company that actually cares about their clients. read more

I strongly encourage anyone looking for a pest control company to NOT USE EHRLICH! I hired them for their initial treatment in April of $355 then they were supposed to come back once a month through September to spray for ticks and mosquitos. They didn't show up in May or July. I kept getting apologized to without any action. If their promise is to come back each month then they should! With their lack of commitment, I have had plenty of mosquitos and ticks on our property this year. I asked for them to do my August treatment for free and each representative/sales person I spoke with agreed that since they didn't fulfill their promise, that the treatment should be free however no one had the authority to authorize that. One rep told me the regional manager was going to call me directly and after that didn't happen I called and cancelled the rest of my treatments with them. It feels like their plan was to get me to pay for the initial treatment on $355 then never show up again. I'm so bummed! read more

Incompetent and Unresponsive. After many years of competent service, the summer of 2021 saw this company simply fail to perform the services for which it had been paid in advance, i.e. monthly spraying for mosquitoes and ticks. They failed to show up without any notice for scheduled service, required four calls and three emails just to get one spraying done, and finally confessed they did not have the ability to fulfill their contracts, blamed their own personnel, and refunded much of what I had paid. This was one of the rainiest summers on record and the lack of mosquito control was a substantial problem for my family. I have never seen such poor customer service in over 50 years of homeownership. Ehrlich is a part of Rentokil, one of the largest pest control companies in the world. read more

Terrible customer service. The technician failed to show up to conduct a follow up appointment so I called the main office and was told that there's no record of a follow up appointment despite receiving an email from the local operations manager verifying the appointment. I then left two voice messages and an email with the local operations manager, but he did not return any of my messages. I called the main number again only to get the runaround. Do not use this company. They were great years ago when they were Atlantic Pest Control but after Erhlich bought them out the service and communication have been terrible. I am now in the process of getting a refund for work they did not complete despite having to pay in full at the end of the first visit. read more

Appointment scheduled for Monday, Sept 14 between 10am and 1pm. As I had an earlier appointment I went there and returned home at 9:45 am. Ehrlich rep had called my home phone in my absence, advising that she was running early and would be at my home at 9:15. Obviously, I did not get the message until I returned home. I called her and found that she was continuing with her day and would not get to me until Friday. Had she called me by 8:15 she would have gotten me. Question: Why do we schedule appointments if they are not honored? She arrived 45 minutes early. I cannot wait until Friday to have my pest issue addressed. read more

The technicians Scott and Linwood did a great job. Scott explained everything including how to use the sticky pad mouse trap in explicit detail until I understood completely. Very patient man. Linwood thoroughly plugged up holes and was like a forensic expert tracking down where the mice were getting in and even the direction they were going from there. They were both very friendly and professional. I took out a star because I think they could have used a more humane trap though. read more

Great service from our tech Brian. Always makes sure you are happy with the lawn fertilizer and grub control service and know how it works and why. Used them first for pest control for a Grub infestation that destroyed our lawn. Very knowledgeable tech and have used them since for routine lawn care service since. Trying to call and get a quote at first was difficult I believe it goes through a non local office. Was able to talk with the tech directly when he was at a neighbors and since then it has been smooth dealing through him. read more

Little bit of scheduling confusion between headquarters and local and second application seems to not be as effective having issues. BUT the number one best thing and reason I would go no were else was Dana (hope I am spelling it right. Dana took care to walk me through everything and answer every question. If I could give zero stars I would. My son has Lyme disease and we rely on our tick control people. Ehrlich pest control has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were supposed to come spray last Friday. No one came and no one called. When I called them, they said it was rescheduled to the following Tuesday (without telling me). On Tuesday, no one came and no one called. When I called they said it was rescheduled to the following Friday but promised to have someone come the very next day. Well on Wednesday, the day they were supposed to come, no one called and no one showed up to spray. When I called them, I was given Scott's number. Scott, as I understood, was the regional manager. I left Scott three voice messages. Scott never called me back. I had no idea there were companies and people who cared as little at Ehrlich Pest Control. Shame on you Ehrlich Pest control. read more

Horrible communication and terrible service. Today we wasted yet another afternoon waiting for the Ehrlich person who never came--they had rescheduled us from a few weeks prior and then never showed up today. When we called today to ask why no one came, she said, "Oh gee we don't even have your appointment listed" -- Infuriating. So we asked them to cancel our account--she told me there were no CSRs available to help me with that and took my number to call me at another time... like, WHEN? How hard is it to cancel my account? To top it all off, they have been billing us $46/mo for at least the past 4 months but we have had zero service for the money. I manage another building that uses JP Pest and it's like night and day, JP is always quick to communicate, texting me and sending me full reports after every quarterly visit. We will be switching to JP Pest and I really hope Ehrlich calls me SOON to confirm our account is cancelled! No excuse for this in this day and age--how hard is it to shoot me an email or text to confirm and/or reschedule visits (that's what JP does)?! read more

If I could give minus 5 I would. We had a rodent problem in and around our chicken coop last fall, call them they sent someone over, they set up bait stations, service was good for a month, then nothing, kept calling, nothing. When we first called they talked us into a monthly service, told us the bait stations would be checked weekly, in the spring they would begin spraying for bugs. here we are in June haven't seen anyone since November. Called about 4 times in the past few months, they keep setting appointments never showing. A few days ago My husband called wanting a phone number to the local Manager, they out right refused to tell us who it is or give us a number to call, they have no problem charging us every month, but refuse to give us any service. I guess the next step is to file a complaint with the attorney gererals office. read more

I only left one star because there is no option to leave zero. My family and I have used Ehrlich's service for three years- each year running into problems, apologies, promises to fix, and then more of the same. Today I had a tick and mosquito treatment scheduled and I was given a window of 1-3. I kept my kids and dog inside and told my neighbors to do the same. When no one showed, I called and was told that my window was between 3-5. No problem, update the neighbors and play outside until they get here. 4:50 arrives and I decide to call back. A very apologetic woman (the ONLY apology I received) told me that their records showed that I called earlier to reschedule for a week from now. I invited them to listen back to my call because nowhere did I imply a need or desire to reschedule. I have had employees think they have put me on hold while saying expletives in the past "tell her to suck your...". This is hands down the most unprofessional service on the booking end. I have never had issue with the actual techs but when I schedule services, they should show. Or call. Or ideally BOTH. They may be the cheapest act in town but I'll pay more for service that actually show. read more

I have been with Ehrlick since 2014 back when it was Atlantic. Last season I became unhappy with their service however I stuck by them. This season they have been very unreliable. I have a contract with them for four monthly sprayings for tics and mosquitos. They sprayed in May, skipped June, sprayed in July and skipped August. Two sprayings for the season is unacceptable! read more

Please be careful of this company! A sales person will come to your home and make you think you have significant problems which may not at all be truthful. They will suggest you buy their most expensive package. They do not follow through with their contract conditions and charge you for services that are not delivered. In addition, when I tried to follow up with their lack of services, they did not follow through or return my calls. Instead, they threatened to turn my account over to a collection agency. The company is very disorganized. I will never do business with this company again. I also make a report to the Better Business Bureau. read more

The company has big issues with scheduling and honoring the site visits, and coordination/communication between field personnel and the office. The technician that stoped by for the initial visit had no idea what kind of services we asked for, and had to come by two times only to put baits and tell us we have big gaps around the foundation. The mosquito treatment is totally inefficient and the ant problem is not solved yet after 5 phone calls, 3 site visits and promises that management is going to look into it. read more

I have used Ehrlich in the past going back as far as Atlantic. When I called this year, I called 4 times, each time reaching the general service and not the local office, even though that was the number used. At this point, finding that I had never reached the local office and was not on the schedule, I told them I was going elsewhere. I'm sure they could have cared less. Mosquito and tick spray did not work. Customer service representative was not helpful in offering a solution to the problem or possible solution to the problem. I thought it may have been related to heavy rain the afternoon of the application but she did not offer to reapply and have a second chance. I used this service because I heard good things about Atlantic BUT Atlantic is gone and Ehrlich is horrible. My immediate request was for Atlantic/Ehrlich to take care of a mouse problem last winter and then address ants & bees as soon as possible which they said would be done in the spring. They stated clearly that they would take care of a much larger list of pests beyond the mice, ants, & bees I was immediately worried about without me having to tell them. For the mouse issue, they set some traps and baits, follow-up was poor. The tenants I have in the house ended up setting their own traps and baits and catching the mice. I should have cancelled the service then, but figured I would see how they did in the spring. They said they would automatically come in the spring, I paid a large initial fee and signed up for the ongoing monthly fee. They didn't come at all by early June, so I called them; they said the first appointment they had was for weeks later which would be calendar summer, no longer spring. By now, the bees and ants have been around for a couple months and well-established. I'm not an expert, but would think they should be hit earlier in the season. Even more disturbing, I suspected they would not have come at all if I didn't call, which is not what they sold their service on! So they were to come today. I called in the morning and requested they let me know when they were 15-30 minutes away or knew of a tighter window than the two hours because I work close by and wanted to ensure I was there; they said they would BUT DID NOT. My tenants called me as soon as the Ehrlich got there so I raced over and was there in ~15 minutes. The Ehrlich guy was already gone. My tenant had implored him to wait for me. The tenant said he was pretty gruff, saying he had other places to be. Additionally, regarding the fact they would get the other common pests, while my tenant was telling me the story of the worker refusing to wait even a minute for me, we stared up at the roofline and saw a cluster of wasp's nests, obvious and totally untouched. So much for them addressing your pest issues. I imagine he should have stayed another minute to spray these. I would NEVER use this service again! read more

I bought a multifamily building that unfortunately had bed bugs in it without me knowing. as soon as tenants informed me of issue i called ehrlich to discuss treatment options. from the beginning they were slow, and i dealt with two different people. The scheduled treatments were never mailed to me as to what dates treatments would be done and contact with the company was almost non existent. they would tell me they called me but i received no calls. than when the treatment is done they schedule a k-9 to go through the apartments. they never told me what date the dog would come, so the tenants were unable to let the dog in and i was at work. they called while at the building and i had no way to let them in than because it was a third party i couldn't schedule an appointment with them. they made no efforts in contacting me to reschedule an appointment. than my tenants start telling me the bugs are back and they wont cover it. even though on their website it says they guarantee their work and ensure that the job is done and work with the customer to set up appointments. I can assure you no work was done with me to make these appointments work around me schedule. I am so pissed off right now. This is not how to do business especially when i shell out 4000 dollars read more
