The staff worked together as a team--refilling drinks and bringing out meals. It's the corner diner we see on old TV shows. There were plenty of "regulars" coming in when our party of 3 arrived. My cousin ordered the Cinnamon Apple waffle and said it was great.

On a Saturday morning around 11am there was surprisingly no wait but I also think we got the last available table inside. Note here that they do offer outdoor seating. Anyways, we sat smack dab in the middle of the restaurant and got to observe a lot. After sitting a young lady brought waters over to the table. I asked her a quick question but she noticeably had AirPods in and didn't respond. I was just looking for the bathroom but I found it myself. It was clean and well stocked. Our waitress was nice. Attentive and present. We ordered the 2+2+2+2 and a Moons over Miami sandwich. The food took less than 10 minutes to arrive and everything was very hot. My mom and I both enjoyed our breakfast. I personally really enjoyed the French toast. I thought the portions were filling. At the end we were asked if we'd be paying by cash or card. A ticket was never presented but we were just verbally told an amount. I thought that was kind of odd. We chose cash because you get a discount. We asked again what the total was and she again just verbally told us and then took the cash. We had exact change but I still think it was weird to not have a visual. Overall, this was a great meal and an overall good experience. I'd add this to your list of breakfast spots to try in the area.

Staff was really cool, super friendly, just easygoing. I got the two eggs with sausage links and a side of pancakes. The eggs were cooked perfectly sunny side up with that rock yellow yolk running everywhere, just the way I like them. The links were also really good, with a nice smoky flavor. But honestly the pancakes were the whole thing for me. Super fluffy, soft all the way through. Golden on the outside, warm inside. Butter just melted right into them and I had to drown them in syrup, there's no other way. Every bite was soft and sweet without being too much. I almost didn't finish them... almost. I'd come again just for those pancakes.

I felt the entire meal was just OK. The corned beef hash was crumbly and though I was told it was made in house, it didn't seem like it. The hash browns and eggs were cooked fine but lacked seasoning. The pancakes were too thick and even though I paid $3.50 more for blueberries, they were hard to find within the actual pancake. The majority of blueberries were placed on top or around the pancakes. My sister's banana foster French toast was the best thing I tasted, so kudos to the cook for that dish. Otherwise, everything else we felt was just average and the prices were above average. My son's strawberry lemonade was $6, and it was fountain lemonade with a strawberry puree syrup added to the glass. Everything added up quickly to $100 for three of us so watch what you order and add on to your meal. I wouldn't return but it was a nice place aesthetically and location-wise. Also, our server Erica was quite pleasant and attentive.

I got the Pistachio Waffle with cannoli filling and cherry infused mascarpone whipped cream, and it was unreal. Perfectly sweet, rich without being too heavy, and such a fun twist on a waffle. My friend got the Basic AF breakfast with eggs your way, house potatoes, a choice of side meat, and toast or pancakes. Classic breakfast done really well. Drinks were a highlight too. I had the Liquid Sunshine with peach vodka, peach schnapps, orange, pineapple, and Sprite, and it was so amazing. Light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. My friend got the Scooby Snack with Malibu, banana liqueur, Midori, pineapple, and Sprite, which was just as good and super fun. Our service was incredible, especially considering the weather. The staff was friendly and attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless despite the snowstorm outside. The vibes were great, the food came out fresh and hot, and everything exceeded expectations. Definitely a place I will be coming back to. Easy 5 stars.

I sat there so long without being greeted that the owner himself stopped by and ended up waiting my table. I was wondering what that was all about! I knew it wasn't the norm for the owner to be waiting tables. My brother and I both had the "cigar" chicken and waffles. Funny thing is it doesn't actually come with a cigar lol. All the items are ala carte. Coffee is mediocre. The restaurant is pretty and clean. I especially loved the outdoor space underneath the pergola. I would have to come here again on a day where the weather is playing nice.

Our waitress, Delyn, was wonderful. She was attentive and just as welcoming. Hubby ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, which also included a cup of soup. He chose the chicken noodle soup. I went with the two-egg breakfast with bacon, hash browns, and pancakes. The bacon was crispy, the hash browns were not as brown as I like, but they were good. The scrambled eggs were cooked just the way I requested; however, I did not care for the pancakes. I think they are a bit dense for my taste, but the portions are generous, and everything else tasted good. I do love their coffee. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our meals. There was a table set up to honor fallen soldiers which I thought was really nice. The servers were all very pleasant. They sang their happy birthday song to three different tables. I wanted to substitute half a waffle but they weren't able to do that. My husband had chocolate pancakes which he liked along with eggs and Canadian bacon. Overall it's a great value and we'll definitely add Flap-Jacks to our breakfast rotation.

Situated in a strip mall and operating a very large dining room, the restaurant was very nice. Our waitress Melissa was super friendly and nice. Very spacious inside and give like an older restaurant feel which I really missed. I got the vegetable omelet with cheddar cheese, pancakes and fruit and it was soooo good! I took some home for the next day. My friend got the banana, chocolate chip crepe and she also took half home for the next day. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was the prices online via the dine in menu differs quite a bit. But since we were already there, we decided to try and we are glad that we did. I personally will be back but have to keep in mind the menu prices online is incorrect.
