Hands-down, the best bookshop in America. They have just opened a new adult storefront two doors down as of July 2024. The original location is now just children's books. Great place to buy a gift, amazing selection of stationary, very unusual books. read more

What an adorable book store! My son had a ball playing with the toys available in the back corner of the shop and exploring the books and toys available for purchase. The staff were all super friendly, attentive, and really seemed to care about what they were doing. The manager came out to answer a question for me and, again, super nice. It was rather busy, and no one seemed overwhelmed or even slightly annoyed by my stupid questions. There are plenty of book options for adult readers too, which was great. Both my son and I enjoyed spending time in this shop and look forward to coming back! read more

Not just kids' books! We stopped by this bookstore on a recent visit to Falmouth and it was the perfect place to pick up a beach read for a grownup. They also had a small local interest section and lots of fun little mugs and doo-dads. Even if you don't have a specific book you're looking for, this is a fun bookstore to browse. Today we stopped in at this local bookstore to look for some children's books for our nephew as well as our soon to be born baby. The last time I came to this bookstore was when I was in middle school, but this time around I enjoyed the experience more and loved the selection of books they had. The staff here is incredible! Sarah is a phenomenal support and remembered us from a birthing class we took at Falmouth Hospital. She ended up showing us some interesting books which we had to add to our collection. While here, our family also found a few items they wanted. We walked out with a good amount of books and didn't spend an arm and a leg. In the end, if you live in Falmouth you should support your local bookstore rather than buying off of Amazon. The prices are fairly reasonable and they have a great selection! read more

Came here to view some books, awesome little place very small business. They had all kinds of categories from family to casual reading, with very reasonable prices. It is wonderful, with a cozy atmosphere, really, really great people working there with wonderful suggestions to give, both for children's books, nonfiction, and great adult books. I like how you can get Advanced Copy books, or books that haven't come out yet, if you are a teacher. Overall, this is a beautiful, wonderful bookstore I could spend hours in. read more

I love this place! I used to come here all the time as a kid, and am so grateful that it remains, even if it is the only bookstore left in Falmouth. Yes, am a big fan. Staff always courteous and knowledgeable. Great selection of standards as well as new material. The 'giving tree', Thanksgiving through Christmas, warms my heart and has become a tradition with the grandsons I still enjoy holding a 'real' book from an independent bookstore and great service. The owner of the store was absolutely rude to my kids in a kids store no less. In this "childrens" store where I was prepared to spend nearly a $100 dollars on books, the owner spoke directly to my kids about playing with a toy for too long for the owners liking. Not sure if the owner was having a bad day or if there was some other driver like god forbid race that gave this individual the moxie to speak directly to my kids and not me as the parent. Needless to say, they lost my potential purchase and earned this rating. read more
