This company is TOP shelf. Just bought a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette and do not know a thing about the vehicle other than 16,552 original miles. They looked the vehicle over, did some minor work and shared with me invaluable insight. Lynne, the co-owner or office manager, title is really inconsequential since she is an expert. No bull, not hard sell, just honest answers. Eight Flags Autosports does not do body work, only mechanical and in my mind....they are experts. I brought my Lexus 360 for an 60,000 mile service! The owner is not to be trusted! They changed my oil and caused a leak! When I brought my car back she claimed Lexus uses a plastic container for the oil and it leaks! LOL Never go there again and I am going back to Lexus to see if they damaged my car! The only place to go if you want expert service at reasonable rates. I compared the cost of brakes on my BMW, and they were half of what the dealer quoted. I take my Toyota there, too, even though I have Toyota Care. I'd rather pay for an oil change and tire rotation than travel 40 minutes to the dealer and listen to the service advisors tell me I need an alignment and brake flush (at 20K miles) or some other unnecessary service. Today is the 24th of March and I'm writing a rant about 8 flags Autosports on 8th & Jasmine, FB Before all you "fans" of 8 flags jump on my case this is my experience, if you are happy with them, good for you. Yesterday I went and picked up my 2001 BMW Z3 convertible from 8 flags after leaving it there to have two things done. The top motor wasn't working and I needed two rear quarter panels reflector lens that I had already bought for $225 put on. I had looked on YouTube and saw it required removal of certain parts to install the lenses so my wife didn't want me to do it. The motor replacement was gonna be roughly $2600 so I told them forget the motor just do the lenses. Upon going there to pick up the car after paying the$95 (which is fair)and giving the mechanic a $5 tip . My wife noticed immediately the bumper was separated from the main body about 1/4 in. So I called this to the attention of the people that run the place. They said they didn't do it. I had the car detailed the day before so I have a witness (waterless car wash) that the car wasn't like that before. They stated that they glued the lenses on, which is not how a professional would do it to begin with. I could have done that myself. Here's the great professional job 8 flags did for me. Notice the gap and especially the dirt exposed. Do you think my wife or myself would not have noticed the gap and dirt ? 8 flags did this and refuse to admit their responsibilities and make It right. So you do what you think best. I will never use them again. Lived here 22 years and try to support local businesses but I will do my best to inform everyone I know including the golf association I belong to, retired Military organisation ,VFW, neighborhood and any others that ask. Shame on you for the shoddy work and then lying about it. By the way I asked for them to show me what they did she threw the money I paid in the trunk of my car and went inside. Be warned! read more

Oh Boy- I have an unusual car - a BMW hatchback with a transplanted BMW M3 motor- and have a tough time getting anybody to work on it. Well eight Flags Autosports just opened up and these guys didn't even blink when I brought in my car. They specialize in exotics, collector cars, sports cars, hot rods and they come out of racing so they get things done in a hurry. No dropping it off and checking every couple of weeks to see if they have started yet. All ready the Porsche guys have found Eight Flags but there's room for the rest of us too. All this time I thought Eight Flags only worked on classics. I stopped in to inquire about an oldie I have, but wound up asking about an issue I have with one of my newer vehicles. I had brought it in to two other places nearby for work, and one diagnosed the issue but was just so slow communicating and or committing to do the work that I finally had to pick it up and the other out and out lied to me about what it needed. Not only did Eight Flags give me a reasonable cost to repair but they also informed me it's not a totally necessary repair. Imagine that...HONESTY AND INTEGRITY from an auto repair shop! Not only will I be bringing all of my vehicles in for any necessary (or unnecessary; ) repairs, but I will be spreading the good word. One of a kind customer service. Took my Jeep in when the air conditioning broke. They took care of me like as if we had been friends for years even though it was my first time visiting. They saved me a ton of money because they are honest caring people and they care about about doing what is right. We had an emissions problem with our Volvo XC90. Took it to the dealer and they installed a new leak detection pump. Fifty miles later the problem returned. I took the car to Eight Flags Autosports, and within a day, Alan and team found a broken vacuum hose after doing a thorough smoke test. The problem was resolved for half what the dealer charged me. These guys are terrific, knowledgeable and honest. We are new to the area and could have been easily taken. After only a few meetings, we feel like we have known Alan and Lyn for years. Not many mechanics on the island service Volvos. We have two Volvos and will use Eight Flags Autosports forever. They are fair, reasonably priced and are great with their customers. Lynne and her Team of Professionals did a great job for me today. I had a 9:00am appointment for an oil change. Surprise they put my car in at 9 even though they were getting ready for the Labor Day Holiday and of course Hurricane Dorian. They had to call folks to pick up their cars and ready their garage to keep other cars safe. The service was quick and they also noted my front brakes would need replacing soon. Everyone was not only professional but also very friendly. We will always take our cars to Eight Flags Autosports, because they have the expertise, the equipment, and very good pricing to keep all cars running great! read more

These guys are fantastic! I am new to the island and had a problem with my MB's air conditioning. Took it to another place on the island and was told problem was cured with a simple AC service and recharge. Unfortunately, this was not the case. AC again quit working a few months later. Unfortunately, by this time, the car was a few months out of warranty! On the advice of my neighbor whose hobby is racing cars, I took the car to Eight Flags. Al diagnosed the problem as a compressor issue and Lynn worked the phones to try to get MB to cover the repairs. Seriously, this shop worked to get my car covered instead of charging me for the repair. They armed me with the info needed to do battle with MB and the dealer and I finally did get the expensive repair covered. In summary, not only did this shop find the "real" problem, the owners then worked to get repairs covered under warranty instead of just fixing the car and charging me. Not only do these guys know cars, they are top notch people, truly doing "the right thing" for the owner. I will never go anywhere else. read more
